I got a house.

Not a leasehold or a rental, I own the building itself. Simply put, I became a building owner. In my twenties.

After the movers left, I surveyed the house alone. Many rooms, a large living room and kitchen. A bathroom with everything. It’s not an exaggeration to call it luxurious. It was the kind of house you see the chaebols living in on dramas.

I stood in front of the huge glass wall that replaced one side of the living room wall and took in the view of Seoul below. The scenery looked even more beautiful thanks to the rising sun. I wondered what it would look like at night.

“Puhuhu, it was worth it for the few times I pounded her.”

Recalling the ajumma who, even though she received a regular payment, begged me to pound her, I sat on the living room sofa.

Her initial arrogance, all that screeching and insults from the very first meeting…I pounded her deep without any foreplay. The way she wriggled on the floor after I came inside her two or three times is still vivid in my mind.

She’s a woman who’s practically in heat like a dog, getting sperm from the hospital, but seeing this house I’ve gotten, I think I made the right choice pounding her.

I leaned my heavy body against the soft sofa, and it sunk deeply. I leaned my body back as much as possible and stretched my long legs onto the table. I connected my TV to YouTube and flipped through the remote, looking for something to watch.

There were various videos lined up: a news channel I subscribed to because I liked the announcer’s voice, high-level female streamer channels, and more. Down, down, down. I kept pressing the down button on the remote, looking for something to watch.

“…A puppy?”

Among them, I found a puppy video. A puppy video was right there on the YouTube screen, which was full of flesh-toned content. Curiosity arose, so I pressed the play button.

The video showed a black puppy running in a field. A man, presumably the owner, throws a blue frisbee far away, and the black puppy immediately fetches it. This is repeated several times. It wasn’t a particularly special video. But something about it was fun, so I played several videos in a row.

“A puppy… Should I get one?”

Sometimes, at school, I would overhear kids talking about whether they preferred cats or dogs. Personally, I preferred cats over dogs. Because you have to walk dogs. I hated going outside, so I preferred cats, which don’t require that.

That doesn’t mean I dislike dogs, so seeing these videos made me want to raise one. And my house is spacious. Maybe a large dog would be alright, I thought.

“Hmm, what should I do?”

I turned down the TV volume and closed my eyes for a moment. It was a habit I had when I was pondering something.

The image of it dripping saliva while obediently following my command when I say ‘wait’, the sight of it awkwardly crawling on all fours to fetch the ball when I throw it, and the way it sticks close to me when we go for a night walk, all came to mind.

“…First, I should buy a leash.”

That seems like the best thing to do.
