Chapter Index

Friede and Damien held their breath as they watched the men walking out of the chapel.

Four young men. Each held a crude iron sword and a spear.

All of the men had quite young-looking faces, as if they were leaving all the troublesome work to the younger guys.

At most, he looks like he’s around 25.

The hem of his top was roughly wrinkled, and his face was flushed red.

It’s obvious what came out of it. Friede glared at them with disgust.

The men continued to grumble and shake the weapons they were holding.

“Damn, it was great. What is this?”

“Is that important now you idiot? If you get caught, you need to get out right away before you get caught!”

Jack, a brown-haired young man with a fierce look, looked around nervously.

Unlike other guys who seem relaxed, he clearly shows his anxiety.

“There are fifty people in the village. Wouldn’t adults take care of it themselves…?”

“My words. Jack, this bastard only worries about useless things.”

“What on earth are these idiots thinking? You’ve never really seen your knights or adventurers fight, have you? Do they look easy when you take medicine and cuddle up on a fake day?”

Jack, frustrated by the stupid comments that made him lose his temper, suddenly screamed.

The two men flinched in surprise at Jack’s yell.

“Hey, Paul! Have you seen the article too? Give these bastards an explanation!”

The blond man called Paul just stared blankly toward the village, paying no heed to Jack’s call.

“Ha fuck. Paul, what are you doing again? Don’t you answer?”

Frowning, Jack grabbed Paul’s shoulder and shook him roughly. As if to come to his senses.

Nevertheless, Paul could not take his eyes off the village.

    “Jack. What is that…?”

Paul muttered absently and pointed to the center of the village. My fingertips were shaking.

“What? What are you looking at…huh?”

Jack, who was about to spit out a curse, opened his mouth blankly.

Even he, who had cursed his entire life, was speechless at the surreal sight seen in the distance.

Jack unconsciously rubbed his eyes, hoping he must have seen something wrong.

    Nothing changed.

A person was flying in the air, vertically, with water spraying from his ankles.

It was a sight that seemed absurd to be flying.

Flight was a word that came into existence only when one could move freely in the air.

There is no way a wingless person could move in the air just by struggling with his arms and legs.

So, that should be seen as a fall. Only the falling direction is reversed.

After blinking once at the incredible sight, the person who was falling towards the night sky began to turn back in the right direction.

    Jack nodded, relieved.

okay. To fall, you have to face the ground. Falling into the sky is not right.

‘No, what the fuck are you thinking now!’

Jack, who was flustered and gibbering, suddenly came to his senses.

    Jack hurriedly looked back.

The two men, who had been relaxed just a moment ago, also looked dumbfounded, perhaps having seen the scene.

“Hey, Jack…can a knight fly a person into the sky…?”

“Is that possible? A wizard! Among those who came during the day, there was a wizard!”

Jack let out a scream-like yell.

This was not the time. I had to tell everyone right away and run away.

‘Damn it, why is a wizard…! ‘Weren’t all four of them holding swords and bows?’

Jack had never seen a wizard either, but he had heard that a high-ranking wizard could burn down a village with just a few spells.

A wizard who can send people flying tens of meters vertically is nothing other than a high-ranking wizard I’ve only heard about.

Considering the level of the villagers in the first place, there was a high probability that they would be wiped out if even an ordinary wizard showed up.

If things continued like this, everyone was going to die.

Sure enough, desperate screams were already echoing throughout the village.

    “Uh, uh…? The villagers…!”

“Are those bastards important now? Everything looks great! Call out all the bastards hanging out below! We need to run away from this town right away…!”

Jack never imagined that something so surprising would happen twice in one day that left him speechless.

But the wizard did it very simply: by throwing burning people around the village.

The village becomes bright as daylight.

    Jack gritted his teeth.

Paul, whose legs became weak, sat down. Jack kicked Paul.

“Wake up you bastard! If you want to live, you have to jump! And, you two, what are you doing when you still haven’t gone!!”

    “Yes, yes!”

Two dazed and hesitant men ran into the building.

    ‘Okay, as planned!’

Instead of following them, Jack forced Paul to stand up and slapped him on the face.

Paul’s head turned and he grabbed his cheek as if he had come to his senses.

    “Jae, Jack?”

“Do you want to live, Paul? Then listen to me carefully. We need to run away now. Did you understand?”

“Uh…? I just saw the people in the basement…”

“If I wait until those guys come out, everything will be gone, right? Those bastards are bait. A lure to get the wizard’s attention while we bounce! There are 30 of them, so the first two that jump out won’t even notice! I’ll run left, you run right. Did you understand!?”

    “Ha, but…!”

    “Go, you bastard!!”

Jack punched Paul in the face. Blood spurted out of Paul’s nose.

Paul, who was hesitant, ran to the right.

“Okay, run hard you stupid bastard.”

    Jack muttered quietly.

Stupid Paul didn’t notice, but to his right was east. Where the fire is approaching.

Jack, who had let go of the last insurance agent, ran towards the left.

No, I tried to run out.

“Your brain is not bad. Although his personality is trash.”

A cold female voice. I would have been happy if I could have heard it in the basement of the chapel.

    Not now though.

Before Jack could respond, a strong hand covered his mouth and pulled him away.

It was a woman’s hand wearing a glove.

Jack wriggled desperately, but he couldn’t escape her grasp.

My wrist was bent and the sword I was holding fell to the floor.

    ‘Fuck, fuck, fuck!!’

As Jack was desperately thinking of a way to escape, he remembered something he had heard before.

Did they tell you to lick your mouth when it’s stuffed? They say it’s especially effective for women.

It was said that even with gloved hands, there are many cases in which people cannot bear the instinctive discomfort and withdraw their hands and push them away.

Jack lashed out at the words.

    Sure, it worked.

Friede’s eyebrows were distorted into an indescribable shape.

    “You crazy bastard…!”

Friede’s voice trembled with intense disgust.

And Jack regretted not having been told about the side effects he would experience if the method failed.

    Jack’s tongue was ripped out.

    “Grrrgh!”

Jack’s body convulsed as he let out an inarticulate scream through the overflowing blood.

Friede, who threw away his tongue, cut off Jack’s hamstrings with a saw.

Flesh mixed with blood is torn away.

Jack fell down helplessly, with only his kneecap remaining.

I couldn’t scream properly because of the blood overflowing from my throat.

Friede, gritting his teeth, violently trampled on Jack’s body lying on the floor.

“This! dare! where! That dirty! Tongue!! Come on! venomous! trash! Child!!”

The heels striking down convulsively cut into Jack’s body without stopping.

Although it was not at Hashar’s level, it had sufficiently trained leg strength and steel-lined heels.

It was powerful enough to break a person’s body.

The leg bones, wing bones, arms, and even the ribs pressed by the pressure are breaking into pieces.

    Meanwhile, avoid the spine.

    It was a reasonable decision.

If the nerves are damaged, you will not be able to feel pain properly.

Blood spurted out from Jack’s snout, as if the broken bone fragments had torn his internal organs.

Friede, who took his feet away, then grabbed the saw and swung it like crazy.

Pieces of meat gushed out like a fountain.

When Friede finally stopped sawing, there was nothing but shattered human remains scattered at his feet.

    “Ha, ha…really…!”

Friede, who was struggling to breathe, eventually let out a long sigh. Her anger subsided a little.

‘I had something to ask you about this and that. It would be impossible to get an answer like this.’

Friede clicked his tongue and looked down at the fragment that was Jack.

I couldn’t control my anger and went on a rampage. It was a shameful act that did not live up to the name of Palun.

But I couldn’t help it. It was also her first time meeting a guy like this.

Friede took off the glove on his left hand and nervously threw away the dirty leather glove.

‘Still, I’m glad it was the two guys who ran away.’

    “Friede senior?”

As she expected, Damian, who had been sent in the opposite direction, came back dragging a person with him.

    It was Paul.

    “Lee, let go of this…!”

It seemed like his arms and legs were broken and he couldn’t even resist properly.

    “Ah, Damian. Welcome.”

Friede waved the saw and shook off the congealed blood and pieces of meat, welcoming Damian.

She felt a little embarrassed inside.

As a senior, he preached proudly, but he couldn’t do his job properly and turned the guy he was supposed to interrogate into a piece of meat.

Fortunately, Damian didn’t seem to mind too much.

To be exact, he looked calm, as if he didn’t care at all.

Even after seeing the bone fragments and flesh fragments floating in the sea of blood.

‘Should I say that he is like Hashal’s friend…?’

    Friede laughed.
