Chapter Index

    “Ah, you scared me.”

Leona sighed with relief, relieved to see Latina standing there in a perfectly clean nun’s habit, without a speck of dust on it.

    -Is it okay now?

    -Has it all been resolved?

The voices of the Demon God and the Goddess sounded harmonious as they spoke from the Holy Sword. They seemed quite curious about what had happened, as they had noticed the strange atmosphere and left. It made sense. I would be curious too if I were them.

“Yes. It’s all resolved now. It’ll be a bit complicated to explain what happened.”

“You’re wrong, Savior. It’s going to be very complicated.”

    “That’s the same thing.”

    -It’s definitely different.

    -It’s definitely different.

The thoughts of the Demon God and the Goddess agreed with an interested tone. Leona gave Latina a suspicious look, with a hint of longing and affection mixed in. It was clear that she was suspicious.

“Mira. What about Aria…… is she dead?”

“No. She’s not dead. She said it wasn’t her job.”

“That’s right. I persuaded her well.”

Latina made a V-sign with both hands. Latina, who had been throwing words at me left and right, seemed to have a different personality than before, a more calm and collected one.

Perhaps it was because of the events in the first world, the things that happened after her death, and the complicated events here.

‘Or maybe it’s because her personality mixed with Aria’s…… No, let’s not think about that. It’s too horrible.’

I had imagined that Latina’s personality had mixed with Aria’s, but I quickly erased the thought. I didn’t want to think about such horrible things.

“What were you about to say before? You seemed so flustered that it must have been something very important.”

    “Oh, right.”

Leona nodded as she looked at the Holy Lance. She had finished talking with the Goddess and the Demon God, who were talking to her about the Holy Lance, and I asked her to go straight to the point.

    “Can I tell them everything?”

“Yes. You can tell them who I am.”

Latina drew a circle with her finger, indicating the direction I was pointing to. Priscilla, Rosalia, Laura, Elysier, and even Nika and the Chairman were peeking out from beyond the dimensional portal, looking at us.

The Chairman and Nika had such enormous breasts that they weren’t just peeking out; they were staring openly. Especially with the Chairman, it was psychologically more overwhelming because you had to look up slightly since she was over two meters tall.

Elysier and Rosalia also had breasts that were by no means small, so it was even more so.

“How much can I tell them?”

    “Up to who I am.”

    “I understand.”

Latina nodded and was about to step into the dimensional portal when she looked back and forth between the Chairman and Nika and made a sound of dismay. She took a step back, and then she asked me, “Is that okay?”

I understood. Nika was a little shorter than me, but the Chairman’s size was so overwhelming that just looking at her made you feel small. Especially when you had to look up slightly because she was standing at a normal height, it felt even more overwhelming.

“Then I’ll see you later, Savior.”

Latina clenched her fist and made a determined resolution before stepping into the dimensional portal. The blue mana, which had expanded into a circle, returned to a line and disappeared. Leona had just finished her conversation at a good time, and she opened her eyes.

“Should we get straight to the point, Mira?”

“Yes. I was just about to go back to the clubroom anyway.”

“As I expected, the Holy Lance is fixing time, but the world is in a very unstable state right now. Time is severely distorted.”

“I tried to fix it, but it didn’t work. Do the Goddess and the Demon God know how to solve it?”

“They know how, but…… I don’t know how to describe it……”

Leona hesitated, her words trailing off. I wondered why, and then a very cold, stiff voice interrupted.

    -I’ll explain instead, special human.

    It was the Demon God.

-The world is currently in a very unstable state. If this continues, time itself will collapse, and we will have no choice but to watch it crumble.

“I guessed as much. Can’t you fix it before it collapses?”

-It’s possible before the collapse. It will be impossible during or after the collapse. Right now, the world is like a piece of paper that has been torn into tiny pieces, but if the collapse progresses, it will be like ashes blown away by the wind, leaving nothing behind.

    “Is the damage that serious?”

-The act of turning back time, or regression in human terms, is already putting a huge strain on the world. But it has been repeated thousands of times, so you can imagine how bad it is. The aftermath of the collision of divinity was the deciding factor.

    ‘That’s one thing, but……’

I wondered how Latina knew that regression put a strain on the world. Did she have some knowledge related to it? Or had she looked into Aria’s memories after their souls merged?

    “So, what should we do?”

-The best thing to do would be to destroy this world and create a new one. It would be very easy if we combined your power with our authority. But you know what that act means, don’t you?

“It’s the same thing Aria was trying to do.”

Aria’s goal had been to destroy this fake world and create a real one. We had been fighting to stop her, so it was ironic that they were now asking us to do the same thing.

    -So, another way……

    -It’s about fixing time itself.

A voice, completely different from the stiff and cold voice of the Demon God, suddenly interrupted. The Demon God grumbled, annoyed.

-Why are you butting in again?

-I’m butting in because it’s frustrating to hear you say useless things when time itself is breaking down right now. Special human, to stop the collapse, we need to fix time itself.

-You damn little! You’re a god, why do you still have no patience?!

The Goddess growled at the Demon God, ignoring her.

-It would be the easiest thing to do if we combined your power with our authority. However, rather than re-creation, repair is a less labor-intensive method. It’s just a matter of fixing, so we’ll have to consistently manage it until it stabilizes.

-We’ll do that. If we leave the management to humans, we’ll lose face as gods.

“Didn’t you have any dignity from the beginning? I thought you wouldn’t care about it now.”

    -Eeeek……!

The Demon God trembled, but couldn’t refute it. It was true.

Their first meeting had begun with a dead body with a pierced chest, and the next time they met, it was only a thought. In the meantime, the Goddess and her sister had been bickering.

Even now, the Goddess and the Demon God were arguing in the Holy Sword, complaining that it was too small, so it was too late to worry about dignity.

-……Anyway, fixing time itself will solve the problem. The only obstacle is that the current time axis is extremely unstable, and there are two problems that have arisen from it.

“There are only two? That’s a relief. What are they?”

-We don’t know what will come out while we’re fixing time. The past and the present are mixed because time has been turned back. Any being that has ever set foot in this world, even for a brief moment, may appear to devour a healthy life.

    “Did you say devour?”

-It’s an instinct to pursue completeness. They are inherently incomplete beings that appeared in an incomplete time, so they instinctively pursue completeness.

“I understand. If that’s the first problem, what’s the second?”

The two gods were silent for a long time. Finally, they spoke.

    -……A sacrifice is needed.

    .

    .

    .

“The nun that gave Mira the Holy Lance……”

    “Yes. Her name is Latina.”

The nun, Latina, greeted them with a dignified bow, despite her casual appearance when she was with Mira. It was strange.

Which one of them was acting? Was it the dignified appearance now, or the casual one when she was with Mira?

“What do you want to tell us?”

“Aria. Do you remember that woman?”

At that, all six of them, except Latina, flinched. It seemed like a question meant to tease them. Everyone here remembered Aria.

“……Why are you asking that all of a sudden? What are you trying to do?”

“A little while ago, I had the opportunity to permanently destroy that woman. But I didn’t.”

Their gazes sharpened slightly, but as soon as she continued, their gazes softened.

“It’s not my place to decide. I came here for that reason.”

Latina closed her eyes. Her lips moved slightly as she whispered softly.

“It’s time for the truth, Aria.”

Her eyelids lifted, revealing blue eyes instead of gray.

The six of them stiffened at the sight. Elysier even let out a subtle killing intent. It was obvious that none of them were happy about this.

    “Ah, hello……”

Aria, who had taken over Latina’s body, greeted them timidly.

It was their first face-to-face meeting since she revealed her true self.
