Wedding Ceremony 1
by Shini
I stood still. Honestly, I still couldn’t quite grasp the reality of it. My brain couldn’t keep up with what my eyes were seeing. Where I stood was a neat changing room. In front of my eyes was the dress I had chosen last time… that dress.
“…”
I carefully picked it up. When I wore it last time, my impression was just that it was a bit revealing and pretty, but now it felt different. How should I put it? I couldn’t express it in words. Feeling my heart pound, I stepped into the changing room.
Although I was actually the only one there, changing outside still felt a bit strange. Just the two of us in this vast place. Wasn’t it actually an outrageous act? Jeong Taeyang even said he had rented it for the entire day. Considering that it usually lasts a few hours before moving on to the next person’s wedding ceremony, it was an incredible thing to do.
“Ugh…”
Let’s put that aside for now.
Anyway, they would clean it properly, and I wasn’t stealing anything. Would there be any problem if I returned it properly tomorrow? More than that, wearing this now was important.
I slowly took off my clothes.
I took them off and put on the dress. The feeling was strange. A completely different feeling from when I wore it before. If it felt like just wearing a costume back then, now my heart was truly pounding, as if it would burst.
I came out and looked in the mirror. My reflection in the mirror showed me wearing quite a bit of makeup. I approached the mirror and examined myself carefully. After examining myself for a while, I concluded that this much would be fine.
I immediately sat down on a nearby chair. Anyway, it was just the two of us here, but still, I needed a little… mental preparation.
I took a deep breath. After a few breaths, I felt much better.
Soon, I got up from my seat and opened the waiting room door. Opening it, I went to where Jeong Taeyang was.
“Wow…”
The hall was spacious. But the audience seats were empty. It was natural, as I had asked for it to be that way in the first place.
A wedding ceremony… Actually, this was my first time attending a wedding ceremony like this. Or was it? Did I attend a relative’s wedding when I was little? But that was when I was young, and I don’t remember it now, so let’s just say this is my first.
So, this was my first wedding ceremony, and it was my own.
Ugh….
I walked hesitantly. Jeong Taeyang was standing where I walked. This time, unlike before, he was wearing a tuxedo. Seeing him like that, I felt even stranger.
“…”
I approached him.
I went closer and took his hand.
I couldn’t meet his gaze. Because I was shy.
Jeong Taeyang also quietly held my hand. Normally, he would hold my hand and even pat my head, but today, perhaps because of the occasion, he didn’t go that far. I gulped. I gently raised my head. Jeong Taeyang’s face came into view. Because of that, I ended up burying my head again.
“Uh… what’s wrong?”
Jeong Taeyang asked. But I couldn’t answer. I couldn’t possibly say it was just because I was shy. So, I made up my mind and raised my head again. Slowly. Little by little. Jeong Taeyang’s face came into view again. I was embarrassed, but I endured it. The atmosphere was the problem. It was all because of this strange and peculiar atmosphere….
I made that excuse and fully raised my head. Even if I couldn’t see it, I knew my face had turned red. Because my face was incredibly hot. It was burning.
“Shall we go?”
“Mmm…”
We walked along the path. The path that ran through the middle of the audience seats. We walked along that path where the groom and bride enter. We walked hand in hand. We walked slowly.
Although there was no one else. There was no applause, no fireworks, and the atmosphere was rather quiet, but it wasn’t quiet. I heard a pounding sound. Just when I thought it was too loud and I might be found out, I heard it out of sync.
“…”
Looking closely beside me, Jeong Taeyang’s ears were also red. His face color was the same, but his ears were flushed to an extent that couldn’t be hidden. As I pressed my body slightly closer, I heard a pounding sound. It wasn’t my sound. Jeong Taeyang was also… incredibly nervous.
Realizing that fact, I felt a slight release of tension. I chuckled without realizing it.
“Pfft…”
“Why, why are you laughing?”
Jeong Taeyang asked, but I didn’t answer. Instead, I smiled sweetly back at him. A slight blush spread across Jeong Taeyang’s face. Seeing that, we reached the end.
“Uh…”
Normally, an officiant would preside here, but now there were only the two of us. It meant we had to handle everything ourselves, officiant or not. I looked at Jeong Taeyang. My expression was filled with the question of what we should do.
“What should we do?”
“Huh?”
“No, it’s because I’ve never been married before…”
Of course you haven’t.
He was pretending to be calm, but to me, Jeong Taeyang was also incredibly nervous. The slight sweat on his hands was proof. It certainly seemed that the atmosphere played a huge role.
“It’s just the two of us anyway.”
“Yeah.”
“So, shouldn’t we just do whatever we want?”
I replied. As I replied, I took a step closer. Jeong Taeyang’s face drew nearer. Although there was quite a distance due to our height difference, it wasn’t something that couldn’t be solved by standing on my tiptoes. At the same time, Jeong Taeyang’s face came closer.
The two of us faced each other directly.
“Is this how we do it? Like this…?”
“I-I don’t know. Just do it first.”
Saying that, I grabbed the back of Jeong Taeyang’s neck. Holding him firmly so he couldn’t escape, I kissed him. Jeong Taeyang’s lips tasted sweet. It seemed like he had sprayed something. Even though he was expecting it himself.
…Of course, I had sprayed something too. Anyway, we kissed, slowly intertwining our tongues. At first, it was a wholesome kiss, just lips meeting. Then it gradually became more intense, and after a while, it was a kiss that could be considered quite explicit.
It wasn’t intentional. It just naturally happened this way when we did it. We had simply gotten used to it after living together for a month or two. In about a month, habits could form without me even realizing it.
“…Haa, haa…”
We only broke the kiss when we were almost out of breath. Thinking about it, the order was all messed up. It probably would have been better to do the “bride loves the groom” part first. But there was no reason we couldn’t do it again. After all, it was just our wedding ceremony.
“…Do that thing.”
“That?”
Jeong Taeyang cleared his throat.
“The bride… loves the groom… until death… Ah, wait. This is too cheesy.”
Hmm.
Honestly, I found it a bit cheesy too.
“Then let’s skip that…”
What else is there?
Even though it was a wedding ceremony, I didn’t really know. If I had known this, I would have at least searched the internet before coming! As I was thinking that, Jeong Taeyang suddenly knelt on one knee. And then he held out a small box in one hand. Inside it was a ring.
“Oh…”
It was a pair of rings. I picked up both of them. I stared blankly, alternating my gaze between the rings and Jeong Taeyang, then slipped one onto my finger. The size fit well. When did he prepare something like this?
“G-Get up.”
I helped Jeong Taeyang stand up.
After he stood, I also put the ring on him. I personally put it on his left hand. The feeling was strange.
“Uh, hmm…”
What was with this atmosphere? I should have kissed him at a moment like this.
I did it too early.
“…”
No. What’s the big deal? Can’t I just do it again?
I grabbed Jeong Taeyang’s shoulders. Holding him, I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him again. Jeong Taeyang seemed surprised at first, but he accepted me shortly after. It was the second kiss. Being the second kiss, it became more explicit more quickly. It also became much more explicit.
“…Haa♡”
I knew it would turn out like this. The dress itself was incredibly revealing to begin with.
“…”
An unspoken exchange of glances.
I looked down at the ring on my left hand.
I looked, and then I saw the ring on Jeong Taeyang’s hand too.
“Then…”
Since we seemed to have done all the wholesome things.
It was time for an unwholesome wedding ceremony.
