    Two weeks before moving

    Two weeks before moving.

,”A job… I haven’t done anything besides video editing and uploading.”

,”That doesn’t mean you should become someone else’s video editor, does it?”

,”Right. I don’t even have time to edit my own videos, why would I edit someone else’s? I’d get more views if I did my own.”

,”What can I do? They say I have to get a job, and this time it’s not just nagging, but because they want me to match my lifestyle with the family I’m living with as much as possible.”

,”This is awkward… I’ve never worked before, so what kind of work can I even do, hmm…”

The sun was blazing hot. Se-ah and I were lying on the living room sofa, lazing around.

After talking to Ji-hye about the house, and considering that Se-ah was also at a suitable age to become independent, I got permission to live with her as long as she didn’t just upload videos.

Getting permission and receiving the latest VR device as a quick delivery gift was great, but finding a job other than uploading was the problem.

There wasn’t enough time to find a video editing job because Se-ah was already short on time to edit her own videos, so she had already hired another editor.

Even so, having to do another job at the same time, we racked our brains, but the answer didn’t come easily, and the conversation stopped.

,”All you can do is VR games, video editing, and uploading, right?”

,”Right? I mean, I’ve only made money from this so far, so there’s no way I can do anything else…”

,”Joo-ah didn’t say anything about live streaming, but video uploading is possible anytime as long as you have time, so she must be a little sensitive.”

,”I can understand why. If you’re lying down trying to sleep at night and the light in the room is on and it keeps making noise, you can’t help but get angry, right?”

,”Whether you understand or not, what kind of job are you going to do then, are you going to open a store or something?”

Getting a job is as good as impossible, and it’s a waste of time to do a part-time job.

But if you open a store, the problem is whether a kid with no operating experience can handle it.

The best thing would be to open a VR room, run the store, hire part-timers, and play games to get video material during that time…

,”If someone who has never run a store opens one, they’ll only end up with huge losses, are you going to pay for that, oppa?”

,”Absolutely not. Don’t even think about it, you make several times more than me.”

,”That means a lot of money will be spent. Rent, electricity, etc., if you don’t make a profit, there’s nothing left, isn’t that obvious?”

,”But there’s no other job that suits you as well… wait a minute, is this possible?”

She looked at me while lying down.

It wasn’t that difficult. Anyway, I need to find a place to film videos, and if Se-ah has to work, then opening a store is the right thing to do.

But what if I and Se-ah work during the day and hire part-timers for the rest?

I get a place to film videos and at the same time, the condition of working is satisfied.

It may be a little difficult for Se-ah, who has never run a store, but if you think of it as nothing different from a PC bang, it’s not too much of a stretch.

Of course, since the money being spent isn’t my money, I needed a definite answer.

    ,”What is it that’s possible?”

,”Think about it. Don’t open a big store, open a small one and we’ll do it in the morning and afternoon and hire part-timers for the rest to film videos.”

,”I wish you’d consider that I’m the one spending that money, oppa…”

,”This is the best. If you, who have never worked before, have to find a job, self-employment is the best, and a VR room, which is the least likely to fail, is worth a try.”

I had heard from a VR room owner that it was much smaller than a PC bang, but much more stable.

Even though it was two years ago, even though the popularity of VR itself was good, most people couldn’t do it because of the price and space.

He had told me that even if there was only one VR room in the neighborhood, it would be as popular as a PC bang, so that’s what I based my words on.

There are only about 3 or 4 small stores in the city I live in now, and wouldn’t there be even fewer in the countryside?

,”Even if there are few stores, if one opens, we’ll make money somehow. Even if we don’t make money, we can survive with video views.”

,”Hmm…. It’s good to create a place to play legally and secure a place to work, but I’m really at a loss because I’ve never run a store before.”

,”The only way to run a store is to learn by doing. No matter how much I think about it, I can’t think of any other job.”

,”Kkeueung, I just want to work comfortably while uploading videos, but I guess that’s not possible.”

,”Matching lifestyles is important, so I can’t raise my voice too much. It’s a headache if one person works at night and the other works during the day.”

Even if she was making a worried face, I couldn’t help her.

If the lifestyles of the people living together are twisted, with one person working at night and the other during the day, discord will naturally occur.

Still, the person working at night doesn’t have a problem with the person working during the day, but the opposite is different.

Someone who has to sleep at night and go to work during the day is noisy because they’re working at night?

Just imagining it, a terrible discord would occur and days would continue where each other would be eager to tear each other apart.

,”I’ll film videos in the store in the morning and afternoon under the guise of working, and then I’ll really film, edit, and upload videos at night. Perfect… right?”

,”Perfect my ass, I’m playing a game so please both of you be quiet!!”

Joo-ah shouted, even though I didn’t think we were talking loud enough to be heard from inside the closed room.

,”I know it’s good to discuss things from earlier, but what am I supposed to do if I can hear everything in my room!”

,”Joo-ah, that’s my room, first of all.”

,”It’s my room now because I’m using it… euah! My promotion match is ruined!!”

A shout erupted and a moment of silence flowed.

    – Kwang

Joo-ah, who burst out of the door, glared at me with venomous eyes.

,”I could have just entered the rankings, not even Challenger today, but it’s ruined! What are you going to do!”

It’s not really my fault, but Joo-ah’s anger was something I was seeing for the first time, so I quickly racked my brains to appease her.

,”Uh… since it’s ruined anyway, instead of apologizing, do you want to eat chicken or something?”

,”Do I look like someone who would fall for just chicken? Huh?”

At the word chicken, the venomous look disappeared and only Joo-ah, who was still angry, remained.

When I tapped on my phone and recited the menu one by one, her anger subsided and she sat down in the center of the sofa, puffed out her chest, and demanded confidently.

,”I want a honey combo set.”

,”Okay, one honey combo set, Se-ah, what about you?”

    ,”Get me one boneless seasoned.”

,”Okay, then I’ll have one boneless fried… can you guys eat one chicken each?”

A look that asked why I would ask such a thing flew at me instead of an answer.

,”Okay, okay. Then let’s be quiet until it comes, I’m going to take a nap too.”

As soon as I finished ordering and stretched out my body, Joo-ah flopped down on top of me and closed her eyes.

Is it because I ruined her game that she’s holding me responsible? I put my hand on her back and tapped it at regular intervals.

Se-ah giggled at the sight and started tapping on her phone.

Even though a definite conclusion hadn’t been reached, it seemed like we had come up with some kind of answer, so I nodded and closed my eyes as well.

,”10 minutes from the station, 3 rooms, two bathrooms on two floors. Penthouse and the price is 500 million…”

,”Isn’t it already over 500 million? But does that mean the price is only 500 million for these conditions?”

I was lying on the bed in the master bedroom, looking at the paper Ji-hye brought and talking.

Being 20 minutes away from where Ji-hye works and having these conditions for 500 million was an unbelievably good deal.

It made me wonder why it hadn’t been sold yet.

,”I do wonder why this is only 500 million…”

,”The real estate agent said, ‘Still, there’s no one to buy it.'”

,”The house price shouldn’t be cheap just because there’s no one to buy it, right? How many things are there that make real estate cheap in our country?”

,”These days, there are no people and the people who are there are coming up to the metropolitan area, so they say it won’t sell unless they do this. So much so that when I asked them to send it by fax, they were really grateful and sobbed…”

I never thought I’d see the day when real estate would become cheap.

But if you maintain a high price and it doesn’t sell, it’s only break-even, so wouldn’t it be wise if it’s wise?

The difference is whether you sell it somehow to reduce losses, or pray that it will sell at a high price and not lose money…

‘If you can’t sell it because there are no people, there’s no point in maintaining the price.’

In the end, the house has to be sold to make money, so I thought they lowered the price to sell it somehow.

,”I talked to Se-ah *eonni* and she said these conditions are good. But she set the conditions very clearly?”

,”Conditions? What conditions are you telling me that for? It’s making me scared for no reason…”

    Ji-hye glared fiercely.

I was a little hesitant about what Se-ah had said to make her like that, but I dug in the opposite direction and buried my face in her stomach.

,”So what did she say, I’ll have to hide here to listen.”

,”Why are you doing that on someone else’s stomach… aren’t you going to let go?”

,”If I’m like this, you can’t hit me even if you want to, and you can’t glare at me even if you want to, right? Tell me quickly.”

,”Sigh… I thought you were becoming a little more reliable, but you’re no different from before at night.”

Whatever she said, Ji-hye’s hand came down as I buried my face in her stomach and rubbed it, but soon she stroked my hair.

,”She told me and *oppa* to use separate rooms. If you two use it together, you’ll be monopolizing it, so she won’t allow that.”

Before I could answer, she buried her face slightly over my head and I could feel her breath coming from her nose.

,”She said they also have the right to choose without being conscious of others when they move, so she allowed that.”

    I could hear her giggling.

,”But I promised that I’ll choose too, so *oppa* should start practicing locking the room door or hiding?”

,”Am I moving to play a life-or-death hide-and-seek instead of moving?”

,”No, no, you’re paying for the karma of the women you’ve touched who are coming to catch you.”

,”The world is ending, you’re saying such terrible things, I refuse with the right to refuse even if you choose!”

Then get off my stomach and say something like that, I moved my body back to the pillow while listening to Ji-hye’s grumbling.

As Ji-hye smiled and looked at me, I pretended to look elsewhere and moved my lips to her forehead.

    Tch-

,”You can just do things like this without being asked, why is a man so shy?”

Her words were blunt, but her voice was full of excitement.

There was no other reason. It’s just something that all men have.

    ,”It’s a little embarrassing if I do it openly…”

,”That’s atmosphere, affection, and love, so you need to practice that a little. My *oppa*.”

The hand that hugged me while laughing was soft.

At that soft touch, I also hugged Ji-hye with my rough arms.

Ji-hye didn’t refuse my arms and hugged me, and when she hugged me, very quietly.

    She whispered in my arms.

    ,”…I…lo…love…you…”

,”You’re embarrassed about things like this, but what are you doing to me. You need to practice that a little, my *dongsaeng*.”

I paid Ji-hye back in the same way and whispered I love you very quietly over Ji-hye’s head.

Two weeks before moving, the quiet night was filled with the sound of Ji-hye’s pounding heart, covering my ears.
