    Side Story) Park Kyung-chul

    (Side Story) Park Kyung-chul

Park Gyeong-cheol was revered as a hero who dedicated himself to saving the dark races after the war.

Although Park Gyeong-cheol remained human, all the dark races respected Park Gyeong-cheol.

Park Gyeong-cheol received the highest honor from the Kyle Holy Kingdom and received a pension every month without fail.

Park Gyeong-cheol also received a large amount of compensation and a private residence.

At Park Gyeong-cheol’s request, the Kyle Holy Kingdom provided a private residence in the capital of the Levi Kingdom.

This was because Park Gyeong-cheol wanted to enjoy nature and recuperate in the forests of the Levi Kingdom.

Park Gyeong-cheol woke up in bed today.

His beloved wives, Katie and Amy, were lying next to him.

Katie and Amy, being Specters, didn’t need sleep, but they did this because they wanted to be with Park Gyeong-cheol.

    Park Gyeong-cheol stretched.

    “Ahaam! Slept well.”

    Katie stroked Park Gyeong-cheol.

“Master-nim. Was your dream okay today?”

“Yeah. It’s comfortable because I slept with you guys.”

    Amy said.

“It is a maid’s duty to make Master-nim happy.”

Katie and Amy were officially married to Park Gyeong-cheol and became his wives, but they still acted like maids and called Park Gyeong-cheol ‘Master-nim.’

Park Gyeong-cheol had a nostalgia for the old days, so they did this for him.

Park Gyeong-cheol continued to have nightmares and suffered from depression due to PTSD from torture and training in the Holy Kingdom.

However, he got much better while being cared for by Katie and Amy and recuperating in the forest.

    Katie said.

“We’ll make breakfast on the first floor~ Come down slowly.”

Katie and Amy floated down to the first floor, passing through the floor.

Park Gyeong-cheol got out of bed and washed up simply.

When Park Gyeong-cheol went down to the first floor, Katie and Amy had prepared fried eggs, blood apples, bread, and warm milk.

Park Gyeong-cheol, Katie, and Amy sat at the table and ate breakfast deliciously.

After eating, Park Gyeong-cheol went to his studio.

The studio was filled with art supplies, paints, and numerous paintings on display.

Park Gyeong-cheol sat in front of the easel with the canvas he had been painting.

Park Gyeong-cheol picked up a brush next to him, applied paint, and began to paint.

Park Gyeong-cheol didn’t know it, but he had outstanding artistic talent.

Park Gyeong-cheol became a painter and sublimated his PTSD and depression through art.

The paintings Park Gyeong-cheol painted were sold at high prices in the Fairy Land auction house.

The painting Park Gyeong-cheol was currently painting was an abstract representation of the tension, fear, and will he felt when he charged at the Sky Spear with a single sword.

Katie and Amy watched Park Gyeong-cheol working from outside the studio door with pleased expressions.

Park Gyeong-cheol painted in a trance, and it became lunchtime.

Amy approached Park Gyeong-cheol and said.

    “Master-nim. It’s time for lunch.”

“Has it already been that long? Hmm. I should get up.”

“How about eating lunch outside today?”

“I’ve been painting too much, and my body feels stiff, so let’s do that.”

Park Gyeong-cheol went outside the mansion with Amy and Katie.

Park Gyeong-cheol was carrying a bag filled with art supplies.

Amy and Katie were carrying lunch boxes.

Amy smiled and asked Park Gyeong-cheol.

    “Hehe. Isn’t the bag heavy?”

“No. I’m in good shape. And a brilliant artistic inspiration can pop out at any time.”

“Master-nim loves art so much. Please love us too.”

Park Gyeong-cheol hugged Katie and Amy on either side.

“Of course, I love you guys more.”

Katie and Amy leaned against Park Gyeong-cheol’s chest with happy expressions.

The three walked along the forest path of the Levi Kingdom.

The Levi Kingdom built its cities without destroying nature and forests.

There were Dark Elf huts between the trees.

As the three walked along the forest path, their neighbors, the Dark Elves and plant-type dark races, greeted them.

    “Hero-nim and Madam-deul. Hello~”

The three went to the city square.

The floor of the square was made of flowers, grass, and other short plants instead of bricks, and there was a natural pond in the center.

Dark Elves and dark race families were out in the square, resting.

Katie spread out a mat in one spot.

    “Yeongcha. Sit here~”

The three sat on the mat.

However, the sunlight was too strong.

Katie and Amy, being Specters, were fine, but Park Gyeong-cheol squinted due to the sunlight.

Just then, a Trent approached and said.

“It seems the sunlight is too hot. If you give me 4 Cooper per hour, I will block the sunlight.”

Park Gyeong-cheol gave him 8 Cooper and said.

“Please do it for 2 hours.”

The Trent received the money and put it inside his body.

The Trent stretched his roots into the ground and became a tree, then stretched out his branches and blocked the sunlight with his leaves like a parasol.

Shade fell on the mat, and Park Gyeong-cheol’s eyes no longer hurt.

Katie and Amy took out the lunch boxes.

    Katie boasted.

    “Tada! Kimbap filled with love!”

    Amy also boasted.

“I tried to give Master-nim delicious food.”

Park Gyeong-cheol admired with a happy face.

“Wow! It looks delicious! Thank you so much!”

Park Gyeong-cheol picked up a piece of kimbap with his chopsticks and ate it.

    Munch munch

    “Ooh! It’s bulgogi kimbap!”

Amy handed him a bottle of apple juice.

“Master-nim. Please drink this too, as you might get thirsty.”

Park Gyeong-cheol also drank the apple juice deliciously.

    Glug glug

Park Gyeong-cheol, Katie, and Amy chatted while eating lunch.

Suddenly, Park Gyeong-cheol had an inspiration.

“Ooh! I should draw a caricature.”

Park Gyeong-cheol took out a mirror, an A4-sized sketchbook, and a felt-tip pen from his bag.

    Katie asked.

“What are you going to draw?”

“I’m going to draw us having a picnic. This time, it’s a simple drawing.”

Park Gyeong-cheol looked in the mirror and simply drew his face in the middle of the paper.

Then, he drew Katie and Amy on either side of him.

He also drew a mat, kimbap, and apple juice at the bottom of the paper.

A caricature of the three sitting on the mat and smiling was completed.

However, it was a funny drawing that maximized only the characteristics of the three.

    Amy said.

“Master-nim. I think it’s me, but it doesn’t look like me.”

    Katie laughed.

“Puhuheup. What is this! It’s so funny!”

    Park Gyeong-cheol explained.

“This is a drawing called a caricature, which exaggerates the characteristics of a person. How is it?”

    Katie said.

“I think you drew it well? I think we can put it in a frame and keep it as a family photo.”

    Amy also said.

“Master-nim. I’m worried that our descendants will think we’re aliens.”

    Katie said to Amy.

“We also have real photos taken with Mana Crystals. Let’s think of this as another memory.”

“Well, I can’t help it then. It’s not an unpleasant feeling.”

The three were about to get up.

Suddenly, a crackling sound came from the center of the square, and gusts of wind blew in all directions, and electricity sparked.

    Jjiririt jjiririt

A red portal appeared in the air.

    People screamed and ran away.

    “An Outer!”

    “Call the soldiers!”

Park Gyeong-cheol also stood up urgently.

“A battle is about to break out. Pack your things!”

Park Gyeong-cheol put the art supplies in his bag, and Katie and Amy packed up the mat and lunch boxes.

The Trent next to them also walked out of the square.

Park Gyeong-cheol, Katie, and Amy were about to stand up and leave the square.

With a Kuuuuung sound, a human fell from the portal.

As the human came out, the portal shrank and disappeared.

The human was kneeling on one knee in a state of exhaustion, and his whole body was muscular.

The human slowly got up and muttered in a mechanical voice.

“Arrival at planet P-10532 complete. Indigenous people detected. Incineration initiated for the rear guard.”

Just then, Dark Elf soldiers ran up and surrounded the human, threatening him.

“You have invaded our continent without permission! Who are you?”

    The human answered.

    “T-800.”

    The T-800 loosened his neck.

    Tteoduk tteoduk

Two Dark Elf soldiers came to the human’s sides and grabbed his wrists.

As the T-800 brought both hands to the center, the Dark Elf soldiers were pulled in due to the tremendous force.

    Jil jil jil

    “Euaa! What strength!”

The T-800 quickly spread his arms and struck the chests of the Dark Elf soldiers on both sides.

    Kwaaaaaang

With a roar, the two Dark Elf soldiers flew far away in an arc.

    Uduangtang kwangkwang

The two Dark Elf soldiers appeared to be dead, their chests caved in.

The Dark Elf soldier captain shouted.

“It’s at least an S-class Outer! Form an attack formation!”

The Dark Elf soldiers drew their curved swords and surrounded the human.

The T-800’s eyes analyzed the situation as words quickly passed by like a computer screen.

One Dark Elf soldier swung his curved sword at the T-800’s back from behind.

The T-800 turned his body and struck down on the curved sword with his left fist.

    Peok jjaenggeurang

    The curved sword shattered.

The Dark Elf soldier was horrified.

    “Euaa!”

The T-800 threw a straight punch with his right hand into the Dark Elf soldier’s chest.

    Pueoeok

The Dark Elf soldier’s chest caved in, and he flew backward, colliding with other soldiers.

    Uduangtang kwangkwang

The Dark Elf soldiers screamed and charged at the T-800.

    “Kill him!”

    “We can’t lose!”

Vines created by a plant magician wrapped around the human’s feet, but the T-800 easily tore them off with a tteudeudeuk sound as he moved.

Even when the Dark Elf soldiers swung their curved swords, the T-800 blocked them with his wrists and threw punches.

    Pueoeok

The T-800’s body seemed to be made of a solid material.

Every time the T-800 threw a punch, at least one Dark Elf soldier flew away.

Spirit arrows flew at the T-800’s upper body and exploded.

    Kwaaaaaang

The T-800’s skin tore, revealing the metal skeleton inside.

The T-800 didn’t seem to feel any pain at all.

The Dark Elf soldier captain tried to cut the T-800 by infusing his sword with Aura.

The T-800 turned his head and muttered.

“Bbibik. Energy attack detected. Initiating defense.”

Plasma gathered on the T-800’s right arm and began to glow blue.

The Dark Elf soldier captain swung down his Aura sword.

    “Die!”

The T-800 raised his right arm, grabbed the Aura sword, and pulled it in.

    Kwok

The Dark Elf soldier captain was horrified and pulled in.

“He grabbed the Aura! He’s a super expert!”

The T-800 kicked the Dark Elf soldier captain in the stomach with a front kick.

    Pueoeoeok

The Dark Elf soldier captain screamed and flew away.

    “Kkeuaaaaaaaa!!!”

The Dark Elf soldiers were shaken.

“He’s too difficult for our level!”

“We need to call the Archbishops!”

The Dark Elf soldiers made a tactical retreat to call the Archbishops.

The T-800 approached the place where people were gathered.

    Cheoeok cheoeok

    People screamed and ran away.

The T-800 jumped at an incredible speed and crushed a civilian Tentacle.

    Kwajik

The T-800 chased after the fleeing people and began to throw punches.

Park Gyeong-cheol was watching this from outside the square.

    Park Gyeong-cheol bit his lip.

“Keueuk. I have to step up.”

    Katie stopped him.

“Master-nim. You’re still suffering from depression. The Levi Kingdom isn’t weak. Leave it to the military.”

    Amy also stopped him.

“It is a maid’s duty to protect Master-nim.”

Park Gyeong-cheol didn’t want to pick up a sword again either.

When Park Gyeong-cheol thought about fighting, he trembled, remembering the torture and training from the old days.

However, if he couldn’t overcome this wall, the Hero Park Gyeong-cheol would disappear.

Park Gyeong-cheol made up his mind.

    “I am a Hero.”

    Katie and Amy teared up.

    “Master-nim.”

Katie and Amy also decided to support Park Gyeong-cheol.

Park Gyeong-cheol ran towards the T-800.

    “Euaaaaaaa! I am a Hero!”

The T-800 saw Park Gyeong-cheol and approached.

    Cheoeok cheoeok

Park Gyeong-cheol picked up a curved sword that had fallen on the ground and raised Space Aura.

The blue light of Space Aura surged on Park Gyeong-cheol’s curved sword.

    The T-800 muttered.

“Bbibik. Energy attack detected. Initiating defense.”

Plasma sparked on the T-800’s right hand and began to glow blue.

Park Gyeong-cheol swung the curved sword horizontally at the T-800, and the T-800 reached out his right hand to grab it.

    Jiiiiiiiiing

Park Gyeong-cheol’s Space Aura passed by, cutting off the T-800’s right arm.

The severed part of the T-800’s right arm fell to the ground.

The T-800 stared at the cross-section of his severed right arm.

Park Gyeong-cheol quickly struck down on the T-800 with the curved sword, splitting him in half.

    Jjeoeeeok

The T-800’s body, split in half, fell to the ground with a thud.

The T-800’s interior was made of metal.

The T-800’s eyes went out as he muttered.

“Communicating with the main force…. Danger. Plasma shield severed. Recommending retreat…. Jjijijik.”

Park Gyeong-cheol knelt down and gasped.

The torture and training from the old days, the fear when charging at the Sky Spear, and more flashed through Park Gyeong-cheol’s mind.

Park Gyeong-cheol closed his eyes tightly and resisted the PTSD.

    “Keueueueuk.”

    It was then.

People cheered from around him and ran towards Park Gyeong-cheol.

    “Wuaaaaaaaa!!!”

    “Long live Hero-nim!!!”

People surrounded Park Gyeong-cheol and encouraged him.

A young Alaune girl approached Park Gyeong-cheol and said firmly.

“Hero-nim! Thank you for saving us!”

    Park Gyeong-cheol muttered.

    “Yeah. I wasn’t wrong. I saved everyone’s lives.”

Thanks to the people’s encouragement and applause, the light returned to Park Gyeong-cheol’s eyes.

Park Gyeong-cheol stood up and shouted.

“There is a Hero here, so you don’t have to be afraid!”

    People clapped and cheered.

    “Wuaaaaaaaa! Hero-nim is with us!!!”

People lifted Park Gyeong-cheol up like a headdress and marched, cheering.

In the distance, Katie and Amy were wiping away tears, looking at Park Gyeong-cheol with moved faces.

    “Euaaaang! Master-nim has returned!”

“Maids must believe in their Master-nim. As expected of Master-nim.”

After that, Park Gyeong-cheol worked as a painter in normal times, but fought as a Hero when Outers invaded.

Katie and Amy were always by Park Gyeong-cheol’s side, diligently assisting him.

Park Gyeong-cheol’s epic poem remained a legend of the Kyle Continent for a long time.
