    Purification (1

    Purification (1)

I extracted the Semen with Shuriel’s help. By stripping off my top and pinning me down in a rather violent manner. The grand climax during the process was a bonus. The sight of me moaning like a sow, ejecting Semen that filled my womb, was lewd to the point of being base.

Reaching climax with so many eyes on me was quite a novel experience. The sense of depravity that came from mimicking a livestock animal instead of a human. Combined with the collar around my neck, it gave me the feeling of being completely owned by Shuriel.

It was a bit of a shame that I couldn’t fully resolve my heated body, but there wasn’t enough time. If I had my way, I would have wanted to pant while being pounded like a dog, but I couldn’t afford to inflate my reduced belly again. It was regrettable in many ways.

If I get the chance, I should seduce Shuriel and try again in some secluded place. Somewhere like a plaza or back alley would be nice. It would be the best if I could get raped right when people are passing by. I put my regrets aside and got back on the carriage.

Several hours passed like that. Shuriel didn’t touch my body, though there was some minor handplay. He would grope my chest and slip his hand between my legs whenever he had the chance, which wasn’t much different from usual, but I could give him high marks for refraining from penetration.

    “Are we almost there?”

Shuriel muttered, looking at the scenery outside the window. I followed his gaze and looked out. A massive fortress wall in the distance. And a huge mountain range that was vaguely visible above the wall. It was magnificent.

Giant spires erected throughout the mountain range. Countless stairs leading down below them. Stone walls and stairs replaced the places where soil should be, and sharp spires were erected instead of trees. Hundreds at the very least. Shuriel said that each of those numerous spires had the highest-level defensive barrier spells cast on them.

    “It’s huge, neyo.”

“The land and the mountain itself are the Holy Authority, after all.”

“Is there a reason to make it like that, guyo?”

“It just ended up like that as they were building it, geoji.”

The Holy Authority was enormous. No one could describe it any other way. The grandeur and scale of carving an entire mountain range to build structures was something that couldn’t be found anywhere else, not even if you searched the entire world.

The Holy Authority wasn’t an independent organization from the start. It was explained that it grew to such a massive size as famous people gathered in a small institution that was only a department, and researched how to defeat Demons. That period alone was a whopping five hundred years. It was three hundred years after they had shed blood alongside Demons when they became independent under the name of the Holy Authority.

Even though it would take at least three more hours to arrive, I could already feel a tremendous amount of divine power. It was the result of humanity, which had been repeating division and war, uniting under the name of the absolute evil, Demons. Thanks to that, the city built below the mountain range guaranteed absolute safety.

    Holy Territory, Hairak.

Those who wished for God’s miracle created a miracle themselves.

    “…”

Shuriel kept scratching his neck as if something was itchy. Mana erosion. He didn’t say it explicitly, but I was guessing that was the reason. I looked at Shuriel scratching his neck with a frustrated expression and said in a worried tone.

    “…Are you okay?”

“No. I’m not okay. Damn it.”

To think that the Agent of all people would have a rejection reaction to divine power. After lamenting like that, Shuriel finally stopped scratching after seeing blood. I restored the scratched skin with reconstruction. Seeing the skin return to its original state reminded me of the broken artifact. Could it have stopped his current state if I had it?

“Was destroying the artifact the right choice, guyo?”

Shuriel scoffed and bit his lip.

“That crude machine wouldn’t have solved it. It’ll probably be the same even if I receive a purification ritual.”

“Still, it’s better than nothing, janayo.”

“To suppress the Mana even a little, I need the help of a priest. Not some artifact modification, but the help of a priest who has truly been chosen by God.”

Priest. Only five in the Empire, those who have been directly chosen by God. Three are in the West, and two are in the East. One of the two in the East stays in the Holy Authority and manages the Agents.

    The black-haired priest, Serti.

Shuriel said he had to meet her.

A black-haired priest sounded a bit strange. Black hair was considered a symbol of evil and was heavily discriminated against, but how devout would she have to be to become a priest? However, unlike my thoughts, Shuriel frowned just by imagining it.

“Damn it. Just thinking about seeing her face is already annoying.”

“Did you fight with the priest, irado?”

I stopped Shuriel from scratching his neck and asked. He didn’t have the face of someone thinking about a colleague. More like an acquaintance. A face that said he couldn’t hate her, but didn’t want to be near her. Still, he must have met her countless times while working as an Agent, but his evaluation was harsh.

Shuriel frowned even more after hearing my words. Then he said something I couldn’t even imagine.

“That bitch is a whore. She’s not fit to be a priest.”

Hearing those words, I was speechless for a while. A whore to a priest? No matter how bad their relationship was, it was a line he shouldn’t have crossed.

    “…Your words are harsh, sineyo.”

“I’m not kidding, she’s a real whore. A whore who used to sell her body at Black Rose.”

Shuriel explained in my place, as I had frozen up.

-Who would have known that light would descend on a brothel. Especially on Black Rose. Serti, who was nominated as the next priest, was extremely embarrassed. She was enjoying making money, but suddenly she was told to become a priest? But. When she thought about it, it wasn’t a bad offer. She was worried about having her freedom restricted, but she thought it was better than being stuck in a brothel and receiving customers.

In addition to that, she was a black dress. A title given to women who were different from others in terms of dignity and night skills, while receiving both men and women. It was obvious where those night skills were directed. Rumor has it that she had fucked countless paladins and male priests. It was even speculated that she had touched the chastity of some cardinals, so the corruption of the clergy was beyond words.

Even so, her divine power was unmatched, so the Holy Authority had no alternative. She was chosen by God. As long as she did her job as a priest properly, they didn’t care what she did.

Shuriel shook his head and grumbled.

“Even her outfit is messed up. Vulgar. I don’t know why God chose such a woman.”

It was hard to trust the words of someone who had fucked me more vulgarly than anyone else. Shuriel shrugged his shoulders when he received my distrustful gaze.

“A normally quiet puppy is more attractive than a bitch who’s always in heat.”

    “…”

    …Seriously.

I couldn’t tell if it was a compliment or a flirtation. I only turned my head away at the embarrassing words and closed my eyes, looking forward to Hairak. I could hear Shuriel’s laughter. He pulled me close and started touching my body again.

    * * *

    Holy Territory, Hairak.

A city where humanity’s wishes became clouds, and hatred for Mana turned into divine power. Shuriel and I entered Hairak with Kalberd in tow.

Most of the residents living in Hairak were priests who managed the spires. Since there were hundreds of defensive spires to manage, people naturally gathered. To be honest, it wasn’t a very good place to live. This was a holy territory built to punish the Mana race. The prosperity of humanity was the Empire’s responsibility, not something the Holy Authority needed to worry about.

We received salutes from the paladins and set out on the streets. The path was full of priests and paladins. High-level personnel that I had barely seen while working as an adventurer were everywhere, so it felt like I had come to another world. However.

    “It’s bleak, neyo.”

That was my assessment. Unlike my expectations, I couldn’t feel any affection on the faces of the people on the streets. Shuriel looked at me tilting my head like a country bumpkin and said.

    “What were you expecting, geoji?”

“I just thought it would be a little more bustling. But… it’s very dry.”

“You don’t need personal feelings when dealing with Demons, ggeunikka.”

    “…”

    “Wait.”

At that moment, Shuriel raised his finger and cut off my words.

    -Agent Ruchellini!

He clicked his tongue at the voice he heard and stopped walking. I turned my eyes to the crowd in the distance. Paladins were surrounding someone as if protecting them. Black hair was reflected in that human wall. Shuriel opened his mouth before I could say anything.

“Tsk. She was here first, guna.”

The paladins parted and revealed the inside. Inside, a woman who looked to be 170cm tall was smiling and covering her mouth.

Black hair tied in a ponytail, a slender body. Her upper body was showing off her cleavage, and a black garter belt was visible between the slits of her skirt that was torn all the way up. Thanks to her attractive eye makeup, she was exuding a slightly decadent yet enchanting figure.

    “Serti.”

    The black-haired priest, Serti.

She came out to greet us in person.

“Oh my, Shuriel. Long time no see. Is it only a month since the mission to investigate the tower?”

“…I don’t know what to do with myself since you’ve graced us with your precious presence.”

    “You’re such a joker.”

Looking to the side, Kalberd was bowing and showing his respect. His judgment was swift. He bowed to show his respect. Serti is a priest. Whether her background is a whore or whatever, she is a human chosen by God. A being that shouldn’t be ignored.

    Serti’s gaze turns to me.

“Hmm. Shuriel. I didn’t hear that you were bringing women with you.”

“…It’s none of the priest-nim’s business.”

“Hehe… When I offered, you coldly refused, but I didn’t know you would even make a child with another woman. I guess you don’t like tall women?”

I stiffened at the sudden direct hit. I realized once again that she was a priest. She was a priest. One who acts on behalf of God. She would be able to use blessings of birth lightly. Her gaze towards me doesn’t stop. Serti observed me for several minutes before turning her eyes away.

“Raise your heads. There are a few faces I haven’t seen before, but as Shuriel said, it’s not my business. I think we can postpone getting to know each other for later.”

She smiles benevolently and reaches out her hand. She said to us in a seductive voice.

“Follow me. I’ve prepared the things you’ll need on the way to the Great Forest.”

Because prayer alone isn’t enough to catch Demons. She turned her back with a somewhat materialistic remark.

    * * *

    Inside the clergy.

    Serti’s room.

    “Well… then.”

Serti, who had dismissed all the paladins and even made Kalberd wait outside, muttered in a lowered voice. Why didn’t she send me out? I had a question, but there was no time to think.

“Shuriel. Take off your clothes. Right now.”

Take off my clothes. Pink fantasies filled my head, but I quickly shook them off. This is not the time to think about such things. Serti, who had erased her expression in an instant, ordered Shuriel. She didn’t seem to have any sinister thoughts. Her expression was more serious than ever.

    “…”

Shuriel took off his top without complaint. Then I saw the reddened skin. Eczema on top. I felt like I knew why Shuriel kept scratching his body. Divine power rejection reaction due to Mana erosion. It had gotten worse since arriving at the Holy Authority, the headquarters of faith. Serti muttered in a serious voice.

“Since when has it been like that, ggeoyeo?”

    “…”

Shuriel didn’t say anything. Should I just leave? I turned my eyes to the exit because the heavy atmosphere was uncomfortable. I might be interfering with the purification process. As I was about to turn my body like that, Serti’s stinging glare flew at me. Why is she doing this to me, really?
