Postscript of Part 2 and Notification of Part 3

    Hello, this is Hazar.

    1.Thoughts on Completing Part 2

It feels like just yesterday I posted the afterword for Part 1 in April ’23, but it’s already October ’24.

The serialization progress wasn’t smooth, but I’m still happy that I’ve passed the 2/3 mark.

2.Regarding the Direction of Part 2

For Part 2, I wanted to give it a sense of speed compared to Part 1.

To be precise, the direction was to have more Unique Dimensions visited in Part 2 than in Part 1.

Compared to Part 1, which contained detailed descriptions and situations, Part 2 had dimensions that progressed more concisely. This was partly for the sake of speed, and partly to show how Inho becomes indifferent to the experiences he gains in those dimensions as the story progresses.

Of course, I put as much effort as possible into the dimensions where the main heroines (Seong-a, Isis, Chunhyang) appear.

If the fun of Part 2 was similar to the fun of Part 1, I would consider it a success for myself, but I’m not sure what the readers thought.

The final episode of Part 2, “Unlucky Endgame,” is the first scene I conceived when I first came up with the idea for “Possession is My Specialty.”

Once I set the most climactic scene first, I could see what I needed to do.

“Ah, to show this scene, I need these kinds of characters, and these kinds of abilities.”

So I created the characters one by one and wrote the story.

    3.The Final Chapter (Part 3)

As I mentioned in the afterword for Part 1, “Possession is My Specialty” has a total of three parts.

Part 1: 3 Main Heroines + Sub Heroines

Part 2: 3 Main Heroines + Sub Heroines

    Part 3: The Final Chapter

Now that I’ve finished Part 2, all that’s left is Part 3.

The direction of Part 3 is to secure justification.

The story of Lee Mina, who has a different personality from the other five heroines, will be revealed.

And together with you, the story of Kang In-ho, the protagonist who led “Possession is My Specialty,” remains.

I would be grateful if you could follow the final growth of the protagonist, who was sometimes cheerful and sometimes frustrating, to the end.

I’ll be back with Part 3 after a short break.

I’ll be back next week at the latest, so you won’t have to wait too long.

    === Q&A ===

Q1) Are there any particular media that inspire the story?

I get the character material itself from everyday life, but I get the setting elements from books or Namuwiki.

I don’t read them often these days, but when I read humanities books, my thinking expands, and I can get concepts that I can use from there.

Q2) Lee Mina eventually became mentally exhausted and gave her body to other souls, so will other heroines besides the six heroines appear?

Only the five (Chunhyang, Isis, Kim Sung-ah, Maria, Soyou) who crossed over to the Unique Dimension due to the rampage of the shadow can move autonomously.

The other existences belong to Lee Mina and not Lee Mina, and they are fighting to take the lead.

The final production seems to have confused many people (EX. When did Lee Mina eat those five?). I think I can explain this part right away in the first episode of Part 3.
