After winning against Gwanggeom and Rusalka, the couple.

I had to drive down myself to pick up Gaeul, who was done with filming and coming up to Seoul.

“Anyway, that Lee Seunghyung guy is the real problem.”

“What can you do? He’s good-looking.”

Jo Deokbae, sitting in the passenger seat, kept nagging without a moment’s rest, but I, being broad-minded, endured his provocations and focused on driving.

“I admit Lee Seunghyung is good-looking.”

Deokbae seemed to have grown accustomed to dying, as he joked around risking his life, but that made me even more annoyed, so I deliberately didn’t kill him. And objectively, Lee Seunghyung was indeed good-looking.

“I get that he’s good-looking, but why is he trying to shove that face into Seoul?”

“Why? Are you going to make him cough up blood again if he comes to Seoul?”

“Not anymore. …If he flirts with Cheon Gaeul, I won’t, but if he flirts with me, I will.”

I still remember that arrogant gaze that kept glancing at me even before he went to China.

“It’s a dirty trick to try and flirt with Cheonghwa by riding on public opinion. Hmph, I’ll never fall for it.”

“And yet you’re personally driving the bus.”

“Gaeul is stuck at the terminal right now.”

I checked the live broadcast video on the screen placed above the navigation. The video showing New Seoul’s terminal had a reporter excitedly babbling away.

“Damn it.”

A curse word naturally escaped my lips.

“If I drive down, they make a fuss from the tollgate, but if I take the bus, it’s this mess again.”

“Then why didn’t you just let the Association send a car for her?”

I re-checked the last message Gaeul sent.

I had to relieve my stress by stepping on the accelerator.

“So you’re going to kill Lee Seunghyung? Murder to silence him?”

“It depends on what he does!”

If he tries to threaten me half-heartedly, I’ll really kill him and turn him into a monstrous human. I gritted my teeth and pressed the accelerator with mana.

It was still 5:30 PM.

There was about an hour left until sunset.
