I’m Mel Grande. As you can see, I’m a half-elf magician with an elven mother and a human father.

My mother, who used to be an adventurer in her younger days, fell in love with my father, who lived in a small village, and I am the child they had after they got married.

I pride myself on living an ordinary life, but I ended up forming an adventurer party with my childhood friends and going around with them.

When I said I was going to become an adventurer, my mother, while worried, handed me the Staff she used to use when she was traveling, and my father gave me magic user’s robes that I don’t know where he got from.

Still, I’ve had a lot of fun days with my friends for the past year, so I’m sure I won’t get tired of it in the future~

We finished the Cave Wolf extermination request and decided to disband in front of the Guild and have some personal maintenance time.

So where should I go~ I heard that we have a request scheduled for tomorrow too… I should get my Staff checked. I should go to the Magic Tool Shop to see if there’s anything useful while I’m at it.

Not far from the Guild, there’s a quiet alley. Inside, there’s a Magic Tool Shop. It’s a small-scale shop that only those in the know are aware of, so there aren’t many items on display, but instead, there are many items with good performance.

Thanks to that, it’s a place I frequent, and they also do magic Staff checkups for a reasonable price.
