Magic Powder That Makes Things Delicious

I looked at Her Highness Cordelia with a somewhat pleased feeling and pondered.

I knew the true nature of the medicine, but I didn’t know why it worked that way.

I asked Her Highness, who was rambling about the medicine.

“So… what are you trying to say?”

“Um… I was wondering if… I could get more. I, I want to research it.”

    “Ah… research.”

“Yes. I have no… other ulterior motives!”

As for spares… I do have some.

It’s a somewhat regrettable memory, but there were still some left from what Cecil had ejaculated into the condoms.

Although there was a minor issue that most of it was at Master’s Workshop.

Even if not… if I ask Cecil, I could get it right away.

…Though it might not be my place to say this after giving her a Libido Suppressant recently.

“…I think I can get it for you, but there’s one condition.”

    “Oh? Really?”

“I’d like you to keep it a secret that I got it for you.”

Her Highness Cordelia, who had been pondering for a moment, nodded, saying she understood.

It wouldn’t do Her Highness any good for it to be known either.

…Especially if Her Highness Selina were to hear about it.

    Is that why?

I had been wondering how to answer if she pressed for a reason, but it turned out not to be necessary.

I put a slice of cake in my mouth and rinsed my palate with a drink.

    This is delicious.

I should buy this for Cecil.

Thinking that, I wiped the cream from my mouth with a handkerchief from my pocket.

“Then… I’ll try to get it by the next time we meet.”

“Next time, you say… How long do you think it’ll take?”

    “Hmm…”

Honestly, I could get it for her right away tomorrow, but I thought I might be suspected.

So… it would be good to give it some time.

And check the market price while I’m at it.

I had been thinking of gradually releasing it, and it seemed like perfect timing.

“Let’s meet here again at this time in three days.”

It’s the weekend, so… I won’t have to go to work, right?

Her Highness Cordelia, who nodded saying she understood, had a lot of cream on her mouth.

Unlike Her Highness Selina, she seems to have grown up freely… I can’t help but think of her as a real younger sister.

Perhaps Her Highness Selina cherishes and cares for her even more because of this side of her….

Unconsciously, I gently wiped the corner of Her Highness Cordelia’s mouth with the handkerchief I was holding.

Until all the cream on her mouth was gone.

…My body, treating her like a real younger sister just because I thought of her as one. What are you doing?

Realizing my action, I quickly pulled my hand away.

“…I did it without realizing. I apologize.”

When I apologized carefully, Her Highness Cordelia blushed and replied that it was fine.

I wondered if she was angry… but it would be funny for me to say anything more when she herself said it was fine.

Her Highness Cordelia, who had been taking deep breaths as if to calm her anger, spoke to me with a still slightly flushed face.

“Um… I was so flustered this morning that I just accepted it… but, are you really okay after something like that happened?”

“Something like that, you mean… Ah…”

As I let out an exclamation as if remembering, Her Highness’s face turned bright red.

Her fresh reaction made me smile unconsciously.

    …Honestly, I’ve been through worse.

I can’t exactly treat it as nothing… but I think it’s within the scope of what I can be composed about….

At least it wasn’t like being violated in both holes simultaneously, or being shoved until I lost consciousness, was it?

…If I can put the Princesses in my debt to that extent, wouldn’t it be a profitable business?

“Well, it’s fine. If I think of it as something for the Imperial Family… it’s not a bad job. Just that much.”

My face felt a little… itchy trying to say flattering words… but I endured it.

Because I wanted to live a peaceful… life. There’s no harm in gaining favor.

Although… I’ll soon return to my Workshop… something might come back to me later, right?

    “I see…”

I somehow felt like my favorability had increased.

Her Highness Cordelia’s face somehow looked pleased.

“By the way, it’s quite refreshing to see you in different clothes after only seeing you in your Academy Uniform. It suits you very well.”

    “…I-is that so?”

It was a compliment… but it felt strangely bitter.

…I also think it suits me well, but.

    Hmm… I don’t know.

After that, I chatted with Her Highness Cordelia about various things for a while before we parted ways.

Before leaving, I didn’t forget to buy Cecil’s share of the cake.

Then… thinking that others might feel left out, I ended up buying a share for everyone.

Perhaps my mind had calmed down a bit after talking with Her Highness Cordelia, as I didn’t feel strange while walking around like before.

…The furtive glances were still there, but when I glared back, they would blush and avert their eyes, seemingly aware that peeking at others was embarrassing.

Seeing such attitudes, my condition had improved compared to a little while ago, so I decided to take the opportunity to resolve other matters as well.

I racked my brain and headed towards the Shopping District primarily used by the nobility.

…Perhaps thanks to the clothes Her Highness the Princess had prepared for me, there were no particular restrictions when I entered.

A fleeting glance in the mirror showed… I certainly looked like a Noble Lady walking around in casual clothes.

Perhaps because of that, when I cautiously spoke about ‘that medicine’… no one suspected anything.

On the contrary, they naturally confided to me their cautious complaints that it was hard to get these days as the stock had completely run out.

It seems Her Highness Selina’s words about it being popular among the young ladies of the Capital were not a joke.

    After hearing the price….

    My mouth watered.

    ‘…It’s this expensive?’

I swallowed hard and bought the ingredients from the clerk.

“May I borrow the Alchemy Table for a moment?”

    “Ah, yes! Of course!”

…It seemed better to make it here and leave, as it would be awkward to do it at the Workshop.

I meticulously constructed the Transmutation Circle and poured out the ingredients.

What I would create was… condoms for Cecil.

After hearing the price… I realized this was no time to be picky.

Shouldn’t I earn as much as I can while I can?

And I also instantly created a Neutralizing Agent that considered the Suppressant ingredients.

Since a satisfactory result came out, I paid the Alchemy Table usage fee and happily made my way to Veronica’s Workshop.

These days, there had only been unpleasant things.

It was at least a pleasant thing, so I found myself humming.

As I stepped into the Workshop with a joyful heart, it felt strangely deserted.

    “Where did everyone go?”

It seemed everyone was doing something outside when I wasn’t around.

Or perhaps it was just empty today?

I wasn’t sure, but thinking that the Workshop was completely empty and no one was there…

    It felt strangely bitter.

Until recently, being holed up alone in the Workshop making potions late into the night every day was my routine, so the fact of being alone didn’t really affect me.

If I fell asleep with an exhausted body, I’d work late into the night again to meet the schedule.

I had spent a lot of money building the Workshop, so I had no choice but to earn money, but still….

Thinking about it now… I realized it had been a truly tough life.

Had I sacrificed too much of the present for a comfortable future… that kind of thought.

I also thought I was needlessly suffering after leaving my family… but I don’t regret it.

It’s just… that thought suddenly occurred to me.

This too, I must have realized because my body changed.

If I think about what it would have been like if I hadn’t changed…

Would I have been able to know this even if that hadn’t happened?

If I hadn’t changed, my relationship with Cecil might not have been like this.

Because she was a somewhat… alien existence compared to the Homunculi recorded.

Contacting Master would have happened much later, and I wouldn’t have met Veronica or Claire either.

…Getting involved with Her Highness the Princess was truly like an accident, but even the catalyst for that was because my body became like this.

Thinking that way, it doesn’t seem all bad.

    “…”

I shook my head and approached the Kitchen, sensing a presence.

As I went closer to put away the cake, it was Cecil.

She was sitting at the table, reading a book.

She seemed focused, as she didn’t take her eyes off the book, even shaking her legs at my presence.

As I got a little closer, Cecil’s eyes met mine with a sniff.

    “Asha-nim!”

Cecil put the book on the table and scurried over.

I also placed the cake on the table, chuckled, and embraced Cecil.

“Asha-nim! When did you arrive? You’re incredibly fast!”

“…It ended early, so I came quickly.”

    “Hehe… I’m happy.”

    “…Is that so.”

Cecil rubbed her face against me, seemingly genuinely happy.

After stroking her head for a moment, I said softly.

“I bought cake, so let’s eat.”

    “Cake!”

“I’ll prepare it for you, so sit and read your book.”

    “Understood!”

I sat the giggling Cecil at the table and went into the Kitchen.

I put the other people’s shares of cake into the Preservation Box and took out only the one I bought for Cecil.

I chose a tea that would go well with the cake and boiled water.

…I sprinkled the Neutralizing Agent, which would neutralize the Libido Suppressant… onto the cake.

I mixed in a flavor that suited the cake, so… there shouldn’t be any discomfort when eating it.

…You might say I’m being too much after giving her the Suppressant, but.

Just this once… just this one time.

Cecil also asked if she couldn’t do ‘work’… so she might like it, right?

If so, wouldn’t it be a win-win for both of us?

After finishing the preparations, I placed the cake on the table.

    Along with warm tea.

I put a fork in Cecil’s hand and said.

“Eat up. Drink the tea too.”

“Yes! But aren’t you eating, Asha-nim?”

    “I already ate.”

“Is that so? That’s a shame… Cecil wanted to eat with Asha-nim.”

“…Let’s go eat together another time.”

    “Yes!”

As I said that, Cecil smiled brightly and began to eat the cake, looking at me.
