Lee Junseo (Son) – I’m This Guy’s Owner

    * Lee Junseo (Son) – I’m This Guy’s Owner (7)

“Juyeonmi. 27 years old this year. Unknown origin. I know she met Kim Yongshin through an introduction from our trash father and got married. Even though it was just one meeting as an introduction, she continued her relationship with Kim Yongshin from there until now… Anyway, she married him through a love marriage… It was a marriage with a huge age gap, so there was a lot of fuss from the outside, but she forced it through?”

    “You… really…”

“Things have gotten this big, why would I need to hide anything?”

Juyeonmi is startled, but Kim Yongshin covers his eyes. It seems he revealed everything, but he doesn’t want to be here any longer, so he leaves the hospital room with Junhyuk, and Junseo, who looks like he’s been beaten to a pulp, enters, crossing paths with him and locking the door.

“She has one daughter, but that’s not important. What’s important is that Grandpa Kim Yongshin killed our father.”

    “How much did you say…?”

“I revealed everything you were hiding. To the point where I thought something might have changed if I had collected all of Father’s USBs.”

    “Keuk…”

Junseo sits on the chair in the hospital room where Juyeonmi is lying down, blankly watching her. He’s holding CDs and various small devices that look like they were dug up from the dirt. The USB seems to be broken already, but there are quite a few other things that could be problematic. For example, photos or the CD he’s holding now.

“Well, I figured you wouldn’t suddenly fall into ideology and do crazy things without any motive, but it’s surprising. I should have realized it sooner. There must be more victims’ USBs besides our family. Isn’t that obvious? After realizing that, I asked our baldy at home. Then, when he said he doesn’t always film videos, I thought, ‘Ah, shit.’ So, I went and chewed out his big head again right there.”

    “Who’s the baldy?”

“I have a baldy who always protects me. He’s just intimidating and useless, though.”

“Ah, that son of a bitch who filmed Haeun-i’s video?”

    “You know him well.”

“How often do you think that bastard went in and out of your husband’s company?”

She doesn’t answer. Junseo quietly burns a few photos with a lighter, staring at the light. He was planning to execute the bitch who messed with his sister from now on, but he doesn’t look very happy.

“Our father was a real bastard, too. I firmly believed that our family only had three sisters. No one ever said anything, so I didn’t really suspect anything?”

“They don’t even know I exist.”

    “That’s right. No one knows.”

She takes a breath at those words and shakes off the ashes from the burned photos.

    Finally, he said it.

“You don’t mean, there are four sisters.”

    With that one word.

The motive, the reason for taking Haeun-i, all the reasons were proven.

“Only the three of us-me, my dead father, and Grandpa Yongshin-would know about this for life. I also wonder how you found out. Or maybe you’ve been targeting these sisters all along… like collecting a collection…”

“Well, aren’t we all good-looking? Must be good blood.”

“I heard that our sisters on our side lived in a runaway family before being raised by our father, but was it different on your side? How were you picked up?”

    “I’ll remain silent.”

“Then, did you feel sorry for Haeun noona because of the bloodline?”

    “Don’t be ridiculous.”

Juyeonmi leisurely scoffs without fear even at the end. She looks at the USB fragments Junseo handed her, shaking off the dirt. She had hidden everything related to herself, but it was eventually revealed to the world by Kim Yongshin.

“How did you bring it when I buried it in the mountain?”

“I asked Grandpa Yongshin for the location. The Bokryong kids are good at this kind of manual labor. I threatened to cut off their hyung-nim’s head if they didn’t dig it up as soon as possible, so they brought it right away. That baldy bastard is A-grade as a hostage.”

“You didn’t even dig up the dirt yourself, but you’re deeply wounded?”

“The sisters went crazy when they heard I was going to jail for about three years. So, I got hurt trying to stop them. Muneoung-i too, as a bonus. I wonder if you know who she is?”

“You seem to get along well with them?”

“It’s funny that you’re saying that. You’re someone who could have lived happily if you had stayed quiet.”

“I’m a victim of your father. Do you think it’s convincing for the son of that rotten bastard to say nice things? That’s why I didn’t even think about asking you for help from the beginning. You’re just like your father, treating the sisters like sex slaves… never…”

    She takes a breath.

There was a line they couldn’t concede to each other.

“Even if I let you live like this?”

“Absolutely not. Until just now, I was trying to figure out how to live, but I’d rather die than be looked at with those eyes. In the first place, even if you let me live, I have no intention of stopping here.”

    “Yeonmi noona.”

“Why am I hearing ‘noona’ from you? It’s creepy.”

“Your personality is just like Haeun noona’s.”

“Don’t treat me like the eldest daughter. Yeowon-i is your family’s eldest daughter.”

“They’re similar in that they both married people with big age gaps.”

“I keep telling you not to associate me with them. I’ve never even met them in my life? We just have the same blood. Why are you doing this when we don’t even know each other? At this point, we’re just strangers.”

    “Is that so?”

Junseo chuckles to himself, saying there’s a strange commonality. But his eyes are still empty, and he’s prepared for something while feeling sympathy. She’s a woman who will cause trouble again if left alone. In the end, he couldn’t just leave her alone and go back.

“Then, I’ll ask you one last time.”

    Finally, the final question began.

“If I let you live like this, you’ll be dragged back to the village, and you don’t want that, right?”

    “Kill me.”

“If you tell me, I can do something about it, you know?”

    “Kill me.”

“It’s okay even now, so go apologize to Haeun noona and come back.”

    “Kill me.”

“I know you fucking hate Father, you fucking hate the village, and you fucking hate me, but I feel the same way, you know?”

    “Kill me.”

“If you stop here and give up your activities, I can protect you.”

    “Kill me.”

“We can reconcile after I get out, right?”

    “Kill me.”

But the answer is always the same.

Only repeating the word 「Kill me」.

    “Seriously, you fucking bitch.”

    “So what? Kill me quickly.”

But in a way, isn’t this a normal reaction?

Rather, the three sisters who complied with the rapist and became his family are the strange ones. Juyeonmi thinks she’s normal and doesn’t budge from her opinion. Her will was like iron, and Junseo’s opinion wasn’t even as strong as a lighter flame.

“When you smashed my head in court, you did it because you were determined to kill me after ruining everything I prepared, right? But now you’re changing your mind after hearing your husband’s story? Aren’t you ashamed?”

“My life has always been full of shameful things.”

“What about what you did to Haeun-i?”

“If you think positively, only the tattoo was revealed to the world, and I didn’t physically hurt her, so isn’t it okay? In the first place, my noona didn’t really fucking hate it that much either. At least she wasn’t angry enough for me to go to jail.”

    “What about your hyung?”

“Yudong hyung is still alive, though.”

    “You spineless bastard. Go die.”

    “Did I say anything weird?”

“Do you even know what I did to your hyung? I would never say that. Never.”

“Haha, what am I even saying…”

Since things have come to this and he himself doesn’t like it, there’s no other way. Junseo takes out a pre-prepared drug from his pocket and says one last thing. His expression seems to have a hint of playfulness, but he’s also holding back stress.

“If you die, I’m going to jerk off to the video of you being trained.”

    “That’s still alive?”

“How good do you think the performance of modern devices is?”

“You think that’s a threat? You’re just a kid after all.”

She reaches out and snatches the drug. Juyeonmi doesn’t know what kind of drug it is in the small zipper bag. But she vaguely anticipates that it’s not something prepared to save her in this situation.

    “What is it?”

    “Sleeping pills.”

“What are you going to do with this?”

“I’m going to prepare for euthanasia after I leave. The director of this hospital doesn’t like someone because they didn’t join his faction. He’s going to use that person’s medical malpractice as an excuse to cut them off here and kill you too.”

“Hoo-ey, all the bastards related to the village are like that. What a load of crap.”

“I know. I fucking hate it too.”

“I imagined being hit in the head with a knife or an axe.”

“What era is it? This isn’t a gangster movie.”

They laugh at each other, but then they stiffen.

    Especially Juyeonmi’s expression was severe.

“Should I write Juyeonmi on the tombstone? Or Hayeonmi?”

    “Do whatever you want.”

She swallowed the pills without hesitation. She belatedly drank the lukewarm water that had been placed separately and lay down on her side, turning her face away. Her face turned red with surging anger, and blood flowed from the area where Junseo had broken her head, soaking the pillow red. The speed at which the pure white cloth turned red was considerable, and it smelled unpleasant.

    “I’ll never forgive you.”

    Her last words.

    Who does that mean?

    Father, Junseo, or the village?

Circumstantially, it’s directed at Lee Moonsan, who messed up herself and her sisters, but…

    There is no answer.

The amount of blood gradually increased as if the stitches had come undone, and soon it became a terrible sight.

    “I’m leaving.”

    There is no answer.

    She doesn’t come back.

That answer will not come back in the future.
