Job Change?

[Leore Gallery]
[This Soma Rework]
Currently, the Sword Master’s damage indicators have a much larger deviation compared to other jobs.
Kkkkkkkk, anyone can only think of one person
[Kkkkkkkk, our Gallery Lord’s damage was insane]
ㄴ[It was unbelievable damage, kkk. The indicators that had been fine until now suddenly broke, so they must have been like, ‘Huh?’]
ㄴ[Using Retaliation and Concealment, the damage was like twice as much as ours, kkkk]
[Honestly, no one but the Gallery Lord used the Retaliation skill in raids, kkkk. It was almost a discarded skill, an entertainment skill in Leore]
ㄴ[For real, kkkk. It was a skill used only for killing monsters in the field for quests, kkkk]
[They’re doing a targeted nerf]

As you can see in the photos, this is a user currently ranked 10th in Soma.
After this Soma rework, the overall damage increased by about 8%.
The Retaliation skill itself is too risky in raids and not used, so the received Aspiration is bound to be favorable.
Even if there’s a section where you can parry, you have to do it with the tank and forcibly insert the Concealment skill at that time, so the damage cycle becomes fixed and uncomfortable. But with this Aspiration skill, you can use it at the desired timing, so it’s really good.
Of course, theoretically, Soma’s highest point has decreased, but our Gallery Lord reaching that highest point is abnormal.
[I went to the raid this time, and the damage went up, kkkk]
[The Gallery Lord’s damage was really unbelievable, kkkk]
ㄴ[Isn’t our Gallery Lord crying? They were so good at parrying, but the reason to parry has disappeared]
[Honestly, who uses that Retaliation skill in raids, kkkk? It’s a hundred times better to just skip it safely]
ㄴ[The risk is so high, and the return is almost non-existent]
[It would have been much better to ease the parrying a bit more, which is a shame]
ㄴ[No, no, this is much better. If parrying becomes any easier here, melee jobs will just become too OP]

I don’t like it.
I tried hitting the training dummy with the changed Soma this time, and the feeling is completely gone.
The fun of stacking and maintaining the Consecutive Hit stacks has decreased. Before the patch, there was a fun in canceling the skill’s pre and post delays while maintaining Consecutive Hits and cramming in skills, but now you can just do it smoothly.
Due to the deletion of the Retaliation skill, parrying just creates risk.
The reason I use parrying even in raids is because of the Retaliation skill. Even with the risk of taking risks and receiving the healer’s help, I parried because of the big buff of 30% final damage from the Retaliation skill. If it’s like this, there’s no reason to parry.
Even if you parry, it’s just risking your life to increase the stagger value and get hit less painfully. That’s it.
If that’s the case, there’s no reason to parry as a melee dealer.
,It’s not fun…”
That’s the conclusion of this Soma rework.
If this is the case, I have no choice but to change jobs.
Fortunately, a new season raid is coming out soon.
A raid coming out means that the next equipment is coming out. In other words, it’s a very good time to switch jobs.
Usually, when a raid comes out, you replace the equipment that comes out each time you clear the raid, increasing the raid clear speed.
But this time, I’m going to find a new job and get the equipment for the new job and match the equipment.
Then, it doesn’t cost any gold, so you can naturally switch jobs. However, I won’t be able to do raids with the new job until I have all the raid equipment.
Then another concern arises.
What job should I choose? There are more jobs that have been buffed in this patch than I thought.
First, there are the assassin jobs that are basically considered “Chung” in Leore. And the ranged physical dealer jobs.
,Hmm… what should I do.”
I’ve done melee, so should I do ranged? Or should I do one of the romantic assassin jobs?
Well, there’s still time until the raid update, so I’ll have to think about it later.
Anyway, there are no particular restrictions on changing jobs.
I chatted in the guild chat to find someone to do the daily quests with today.
[Iarang] – Is there anyone who wants to go to the daily dungeon today?
[Arang’s Belly Warmer] – Me! Me! Me!
[Arm Length 10cm] – A new dungeon has come out this time, so it’s good to do the main quest and then run it.
[Arang’s Belly Warmer] – Oh? Haven’t you finished the main quest yet?
Ah, right.
They said that a main quest was created this time and a dungeon was also created?
[Iarang] – I haven’t done it yet. I’ll push through it quickly and come.
[Arang’s Belly Warmer] – Take your time. The main quest is fun this time.
[Iarang] – Okay.
I still can’t get used to it every time I see it. I just touched that belly once, and they went from being a footstool to a belly warmer.
They looked like a normal person when I saw them in real life…
The main quest started in Ardea.
When I arrived in Ardea using the Return Scroll, there were so many people bustling around.
When I started, it was the end of the season, so there weren’t many people, but now that the season has started, there seemed to be five times as many people as usual.
Most of them were moving to one place. I also joined the wave of people to do the main quest and walked along.
Fortunately, when you receive the quest, it doesn’t make you go back, but makes you go to a different path, so there’s no confusion.
Thanks to that, I was able to receive the main quest comfortably.
The main quest was naturally the story for the final battle in the Abyss Zone.
After doing several raids, you have to finish the nests located in the Abyss Zone and enter the huge nest you reach at the end.
I wonder how many disgusting monsters there will be this time.
First, I entered the story dungeon and started scouting the nest with my companions.
It was an infiltration format, passing through winding maze-like paths without getting caught by monsters.
This is also one of the things I’m good at. Using the monsters’ aggro system, I arrived at the target area at once.
In a room full of darkness, a mage companion cast a glowing buff on us that allowed us to see even in the dark, and I almost made a sound.
There was a giant ant, easily over 5M tall, with its face torn off.
The problem was that the ant was not just a simple ant, but the queen ant that controlled this nest.
Its appearance had the presence of someone who was obviously saying, ,I’m the boss here.’ But it was dead.
Ah, is that it?
In fact, this boss was not the final boss.
Even though it was a queen ant in a headless corpse state, its presence was considerable.
It’s a visual that reminds me of the Alien movies I used to like. Even if that queen ant was a raid boss, I would nod and say it was cool and stylish.
But the fact that the head of such a queen ant has disappeared means that someone killed it.
And that will be the final boss.
First, I had to inform the Adventurer’s Guild about the current situation in the story, so I left the nest.
The next step in the quest is the Adventurer’s Guild in Ardea.
As soon as I arrived at the Adventurer’s Guild, I conveyed all the information about what we saw in the nest without missing a single detail.
As I was talking, a dungeon naturally opened to fully investigate that nest.
As soon as the dungeon opened, I immediately said in the guild chat.
[Iarang] – I opened it. Belly Warmer-nim and Arm Length-nim, are you going to go together?
[Arang’s Belly Warmer] – Please invite me right away!
[Arm Length 10cm] – I’m available right away too.
[Soonhyang Chaser] – Iarang-ah, me too!
A 4-person party was immediately completed.

Squeak!
The monsters that appeared in this new dungeon, Nest of Sin, were various monsters.
All the monsters that I had seen in all the nests so far were there, and they all looked disgusting.
I don’t understand who thought of combining bugs, insects, and tree roots.
The moment Arm Length ran forward as a tank to grab the aggro of the monsters, Soonchu and I quickly swept up the monsters, and Belly Warmer healed and perfectly cared for us.
I wonder what the boss of this dungeon will be.
First of all, it’s the nest that is the stage for the final raid that came out at the end of the season. But the queen ant, who I thought was the boss, has already been killed by someone, so I was looking forward to seeing who would come out as the boss in such a nest.
We arrived at the room where the queen ant was.
As I saw in the story earlier, the queen ant’s corpse, with its head missing, was still there.
,What the hell is going on?”
Soonchu tilted their head.
,I know, right. The corpse won’t be the boss.”
Everyone was off guard, but I noticed the queen ant’s body moving.
,Everyone, prepare for battle.”
,Huh? What’s wrong?”
,The queen ant isn’t dead.”
,Huh?”
As soon as I finished speaking, the queen ant got up, staggering, with its head missing.
,Ew, what is it?”
Something yellow began to sprout from the severed surface of the queen ant’s missing head.
I realized it as soon as I saw it.
,It’s Cordyceps.’

It seems that the final boss of this season’s raid is related to parasites.
