Giant Ent Kingdom

I, Lucy, Melissa, Winston, and three donkeys walked aimlessly into the depths of the Bohark Forest.

We weren’t tired because of the wildness stemming from our tentacles, but we were getting impatient as we hadn’t found even a clue about the Ancient Slime for three weeks.

Melissa complained.

,”Where the hell is the Ancient Slime!”

As the leader of this team, I couldn’t show it and had to soothe her.

I stroked Melissa’s head.

The weapons and attire of the Giant Ents roaming the field varied.

Some Giant Ents were returning from hunting magical beasts.

Winston asked me.

,”If Giant Ents also form a nation, can we negotiate with them?”

The woman spoke.

,”I am Hanipa, the 5th Corps Commander. Who are you!”

I decided to go out confidently.

,”I am Kyle, the King of Tentacles!”

Hanipa flinched for a moment at my momentum.

Another Giant Ent next to Hanipa whispered to Hanipa.

,”Commander Hanipa-nim. The presence is enormous.”

,”I feel it too.”

,”Could they be the ones who caused the huge light incident a week ago?”

A week ago, a huge light, noise, and vibration shook the forest.

When the Giant Ent dispatched an investigation team to check, they only saw a mountain peak blown away and a huge fan-shaped arid land.

Someone had fired something powerful from the center of the fan shape.

Hanipa asked.

Lucy-nuna also said confidently.

Hanipa looked at me with admiring eyes.

Soon, Hanipa and the other Giant Ents showed respect by putting their bellies close to the ground and bowing their heads.

Hanipa asked politely.

,”What brings the King of Tentacles to our Giant Ent Kingdom?”

I said confidently.

,”The Tentacle Kingdom wants to establish a peace treaty and alliance with the Giant Ent Kingdom.”

,”I will guide the King of Tentacles to our kingdom’s guest room. Hey! Report to the Queen that the King of Tentacles has come to negotiate!”

Some Giant Ents quickly entered the cave.

Hanipa guided us to the entrance of the cave.

We entered the huge cave where the Giant Ents lived with Hanipa.

The cave was wide enough for 10 Giant Ents to pass through at once.

The Giant Ent Kingdom was huge, with countless caves and magnificent cavities drilled underground.

Luminescent stones were embedded in the walls and ceilings everywhere, illuminating the cave.

Inside the cavity, there were training grounds, blacksmith shops, restaurants, shopping malls, cafes, and more.

There was also a magic research lab where Giant Ents gathered and chanted strange spells.

The Giant Ents looked at us with curiosity as we passed by, but they didn’t have a particularly hostile gaze because they were with Hanipa.

I asked Hanipa what I was curious about.

,”What is your position?”

,”I am the 5th Corps Commander. Above the Corps Commander is the Great General-nim, and above that is the Queen-nim, the Supreme Commander.”

,”We didn’t know if we could negotiate because we thought Giant Ents would attack humans unconditionally.”

Some mushrooms had legs and walked around, and they were mushroom monsters called Matango.

,”We grow mushrooms and eat them as our staple food. Mushrooms grow well even if you only give them water and garbage.”

At that time, I saw a Giant Ent loading a Giant Ent corpse onto a cart and putting it into a pit of appropriate size.

Another Giant Ent placed small mushrooms with the corpse and covered it with soil with a shovel.

I asked.

,”That’s right. They die and become nutrients for Matango, and by eating Matango, their brothers are resurrected into their brothers’ bodies.”

The next place they guided us to was a human-sized aphid ranch.

Hundreds of aphids of various colors, such as red, blue, and yellow, were in the ranch.

Giant Ents wiped the aphids and fed them torn Matango.

A Giant Ent placed a large tin can under the aphid’s butt.

When the Giant Ent tapped the thorn on the butt, a liquid that was the same color as the aphid’s skin flowed out of the butt.

When Hanipa ordered, another Giant Ent brought various aphid juices in cups.

Lucy-nuna drank the red drink and said her impressions.

Hanipa said with a proud face when we admired it.

Hanipa said she would wait outside.

A small Giant Ent wearing a maid outfit brought aphid juice and Matango pieces on a tray.

We ate snacks and waited.

Soon, Hanipa guided us to the place where the Queen was waiting.

There was a huge and bright cavity next to the path we were passing.

I asked Hanipa.

There were thousands of circular cushions in the east, and an ant egg the size of a baseball was placed on each one.

The Giant Ent maid wiped the larvae and fed them drinks and Matango pieces in water bottles.
