    Forming a Hero Party

I was truly impressed by Marquis Naos’s scheme.

“This won’t be an easy fight.”

Rungil roared, extending his adamantium warhammer towards my face.

    “Die!”

In the moment I shielded my face, Rungil swiftly retrieved his warhammer and moved to my left.

Rungil swung the warhammer at my left forearm, which was holding the shield.

I quickly turned to the left and blocked it with my right hammer.

The hammer collided with the warhammer, creating a deafening kuaaaang and sending a spherical shockwave outwards.

The moment Rungil raised both warhammers above his head, I spotted an opening and thrust my hammer towards his chin.

    “This is the end!”

Rungil seemed prepared, twisting his body to evade.

Rungil only rotated his wrist, drawing a semicircle with the warhammer and striking my wrist.

    Kwang!

    “Kkeuaaa!”

As my wrist shattered and the hammer flew away, Rungil grinned and lunged at me.

Leaving afterimages, Rungil appeared in front of me and swung the warhammer at my head.

Fortunately, because I am a Tentacle, my right hand regenerated.

The moment the electric hammer returned, I swung it.

Rungil immediately retrieved his warhammer and dodged with a backstep, saying leisurely.

“I don’t know how you recovered your wrist, but you can’t beat me. I can tell after fighting you with similar strength and agility. You’re just swinging the hammer with strength and instinct, and you’re severely lacking in technique. You’re not a true hammer warrior. More accurately, you’re a berserker type.”

I was taken aback by Rungil’s sharp judgment.

‘He assessed me more accurately than I thought. I won’t die, but if I keep regenerating, he’ll suspect my identity.’

I retorted as if nothing was wrong.

    “Think what you want.”

Rungil smirked and rushed in, swinging both warhammers, confusing me with feints and changes in trajectory.

Rungil swung quickly with weak force, and when he saw an opening, he struck down with great force.

I backpedaled, desperately swinging my hammer to block.

    Kuaaaang! Kwagagang! Kuaang!

Each time the warhammer and hammer collided, spherical shockwaves spread in all directions.

Rungil swung his warhammer, shouting with unwavering eyes.

“A troll does his best even when catching a deer! I’ll kill you here for sure!”

As I extended my hammer towards Rungil’s stomach, Rungil snapped his wrist, quickly swinging the warhammer and hitting my wrist.

    Tang!

I lost my grip on the hammer due to the impact.

Rungil swung the already retrieved warhammer hard, knocking my hammer away.

    Kuaaaaaang!!!

    My hammer flew far away.

    Rungil shouted.

“You won’t be able to retrieve it right away! Checkmate!”

Rungil swung the warhammer hard, hitting my shield outwards with full force.

    Kuaaaang!

My shield was knocked outwards by the impact, leaving my front exposed.

    I screamed in horror.

    “Euaaaa!”

Rungil jumped in front of me, trying to smash his warhammer down on my head with maximum force.

I spat a large amount of saliva I had been holding in my mouth towards Rungil’s face.

An amateur would close their eyes or dodge, but Rungil, a veteran, tried to strike down with the warhammer, taking the saliva head-on.

    “Such tricks won’t work!”

But what I spat out was actually a transparent acidic poison.

    Chi-i-i-i-ik!

    Rungil’s eyes melted away.

Rungil dropped the warhammer and was about to scream in agony, grabbing his eyes with both hands.

    “Kkeua…”

The moment the hammer, which had been returning, was in my hand, I blew Rungil’s head off.

    Kwajijik!

Rungil’s brain matter splattered everywhere, and his neck spurted a fountain of blood.

    Rungil’s headless body collapsed.

    Kuuung.

I quickly blew Rungil’s head off so no one would notice my saliva.

I quickly rushed towards the mages and high priests and swung my hammer at the sphere of light.

    Kuaaaang! Kwajijijik!

As the hammer struck the sphere of light, which had already been enduring the Spirit King’s attacks non-stop, cracks appeared, and Professor Hasan vomited blood due to mana backflow.

    Uwee-e-e-k.

Professor Hasan desperately shouted with a bloody mouth.

    “Wait! I’m a professor! I surrender!”

Ignoring him, I struck down once more, and with a deafening kuaaaang, the sphere of light shattered into pieces.

    Jjaenggeurang

The two knight high priests fought to the end, blocking the Spirit King’s spears, but Professor Hasan and Professor Arute screamed in horror and surrendered.

    “Surrender! Surrender!”

    “Euaaaa! I’ll become a prisoner!”

I moved quickly, creating afterimages, and blew the heads off all four of them.

    Pa ba ba bang!

Four bodies with missing heads collapsed to the ground.

As Professor Arute died, the earth golem also crumbled.

I hurriedly gave orders to the Spirit Kings.

“Everyone, collect the corpses and items and return! Noa, take the golem’s core!”

Marquis Naos noticed and hurriedly shouted.

“Leave the corpses and items behind!”

I ignored Marquis Naos’s words and picked up the corpse of the paladin Rungil and the adamantium warhammer.

I and the four Spirit Kings picked up the corpses and items of the knights and professors and quickly ran to Marquis Iosap.

Marquis Naos stamped his feet and screamed.

“You bastard! Leave the corpses and items behind! Euaaaa!”

If Marquis Naos moved his troops here, Marquis Iosap’s troops would also move, so Marquis Naos had no choice but to watch and be robbed.

Marquis Iosap and the knights and soldiers applauded with admiring expressions.

Jjak jjak jjak jjak jjak jjak

Marquis Iosap smiled with a satisfied face and praised me.

“Baron Kyle! You did a great job! Today is the best day of my life! Euhahahaha!”

I went in front of Marquis Iosap, reverse-summoned the four Spirit Kings, placed the corpses, weapons, and mana stone bags, and knelt on one knee to report.

“Knight Kyle. I offer the enemy’s corpses and items to you, Marquis-nim.”

“Euhahahaha! I’m proud of you. But Baron Kyle fought, so is it okay to give them to me?”

I thought for a moment and said.

“Then I would like to take the golem’s core, the wireless battery, the paladin’s warhammer, and the ring only. I offer the rest to repay your grace, Marquis-nim.”

Marquis Iosap said with a satisfied expression.

    “I gratefully accept your gifts.”

I put the golem’s core and wireless battery in my arms, put on the ring of power, and strapped the adamantium warhammer to my waist.

Marquis Iosap’s soldiers took the rest.

    Marquis Iosap instructed me.

“Now, according to the contract, we must receive the Elves from Marquis Naos. I will lead the troops and go to receive them, so you go to Bilan City. I will attach Baron Kim Nayeon, who is close to you, and 300 soldiers as escorts.”

    “Thank you.”

“In return, increase the amount of herb cultivation in your territory by two times.”

“I will do so. Lirei and Young Lady Sina are managing my territory, so they will follow your instructions, Marquis-nim.”

“I see. Young Lady Sina is so dedicated to service. It’s quite amazing.”

Marquis Iosap shouted to Marquis Naos.

“My knight won in the duel of great warriors, so I will take the Elves according to the contract!”

Marquis Naos became speechless and cursed to himself.

    “Shit…. Shit…. Keuek.”

Marquis Naos’s total forces, including the territory’s troops, were 15,000 soldiers, 30 knights after 3 died, and he lost the heirloom ring of power and the adamantium warhammer.

Marquis Iosap had 6,000 soldiers in this place alone, 31 knights including me, and an additional 12,000 soldiers and 20 knights were coming up from the south.

Even if I and Kim Nayeon left, there were 18,000 soldiers and 49 knights, so Marquis Iosap’s army was much stronger than Marquis Naos’s army.

I greeted Marquis Iosap and left for Bilan City with Nisa, Kim Nayeon, and 300 soldiers.

Marquis Iosap led his troops to Marquis Naos’s territory along with Marquis Naos’s troops.

Marquis Naos would surely be stripped of not only the Elves but also everything else by Marquis Iosap.

As I went to Bilan City with the escort troops, I summarized today’s achievements.

I gave Marquis Naos a blow, rescued 30,000 Elf slaves from Marquis Naos’s territory and the surrounding area, and acquired the golem’s core, wireless battery, ring of power, and adamantium warhammer.

Also, I killed two Archmages of the Magic Tower, who were the hope of humanity.

It was quite an impressive achievement for just one fight, so I hummed a tune.

    “Heung~ Heueu-eung~ Heueueueung~ Heung~ Heueu-eung~ Heueung~”

Nisa praised me with a satisfied face, giving a thumbs up.

“Honey! I knew I could trust you! You’re the best~”

Baron Kim Nayeon also praised me.

“Baron Kyle-nim! You’re amazing to fight and win against five strong people!”

Kim Nayeon is my subordinate, but we decided to hide this relationship outside.

    I said confidently.

“I’m also someone who has toughened up through battles. Five people are just a piece of cake to me.”

If someone else had said this, they would have been cursed as a bluffer, but since the winner said it, it was trustworthy.

The surrounding soldiers looked at me with respectful eyes.

We went to Bilan City like that, and somehow it felt like everything would go well in the future.

We arrived in Bilan City and went to the large mansion owned by Marquis Iosap to unpack.

The mansion was always managed by employees on standby, so we could live comfortably.

The day after we arrived, a member of the royal family came and took me and Nisa to the audience chamber of the palace.

King Madhan was sitting on the throne in front, and Queen Dania was sitting on the golden chair next to him.

A huge red carpet was laid up to the throne, and the main retainers of the Hamel Empire were standing around the carpet.

There were many people around who felt the aura of strong individuals.

I and Nisa confidently straightened our shoulders and walked, stopping in the center, kneeling on one knee, bowing our heads, and greeting.

“I am Kyle, a knight of Marquis Iosap! It is an honor to meet Your Majesty Madhan!”

King Madhan said with a solemn face.

“I have heard enough of Baron Kyle’s reputation. I heard that your Elf Resistance has devastated the west of the Empire.”

I shouted with a darkened face.

    “I’m sorry!”

“There was also a problem with the nobles who handled Elf slaves even though the Empire prohibited slavery of the Light race. It may have been self-defense.”

    “Then!”

King Madhan said emphatically in a thick voice.

“But! You have killed many nobles and people and destroyed territories even though you could have been dealt with by Imperial law! Therefore! I will tell you how to be forgiven for the sins you and your wife have committed!”

    I swallowed and asked.

    “Keulgeok. What is it?”

“From now on, you and your wife will become members of the Hero Party to stop the forces of the God of Darkness and eliminate the God of Darkness! If the Hero Party succeeds, all your sins will be forgiven! If you refuse this offer, it will be very disadvantageous for you!”

I pretended to hesitate for a while and then said in a determined voice.

“My wife and I will become members of the Hero Party. I was going to take revenge on the God of Darkness someday anyway. Instead, may I ask you one thing?”

King Madhan held back the corners of his mouth from rising and said solemnly.

    “Speak.”

“Please help the Elves who are still slaves.”

“That is something the Empire should naturally do. The royal family will send letters to the Raon Kingdom Alliance and each noble to return the Elf slaves, and if they do not comply, they will send inspectors.”

    “Thank you.”

“Then I hope you will achieve great achievements in the Hero Party in the future.”

King Madhan asked me why he felt darkness from the four Spirit Kings, and I explained in detail the settings I had created.

I also told him that the four Spirit Kings were mentally sound and under my perfect control.

That evening, a grand party was held in the palace hall to commemorate the historic day when the Hero Party was fully formed.

This party was attended by the royal family, all members of the Hero Party, and prominent nobles of the capital.

Kim Nayeon and my escort troops confirmed that I had joined the Hero Party and left for Marquis Iosap’s territory.

I entrusted the adamantium warhammer to Kim Nayeon.

I wore the ring of power, and I carried the golem’s core and wireless battery.

King Madhan sat at the head of the party, sipping wine and looking at the Hero Party with a pleased expression.

The members of the Hero Party were as follows.

    Hero Park Gyeong-cheol,

Andre: Prince of the Hamel Empire,

    Gilluk: Dwarf Prince,

Asha: Saintess of the Holy Kingdom,

    Serina: Daughter of Marquis Iosap,

Aibos: Grandson of the Dragon Lord,

Kyle: Commander of the Elf Resistance and hero of a thousand years ago,

    Nisa: Fairy Queen.

It was the best party except for the fact that I didn’t like Serina.

There was also the symbolism that the heroes of the representative Light races, Humans, Dwarves, Dragons, Elves, and Fairies, were all gathered.

    King Madhan muttered.

“God of Darkness. You will not be able to defeat the united light.”

I took Nisa’s hand and introduced myself to the other six members of the Hero Party.

Aibos was in a draconian form with horns on his head and golden wings and a golden tail extended.

The other party members, except for me, Nisa, and Aibos, seemed to have become very close to each other while conquering the Witch’s Forest east of the Hamel Empire together.

I explained to the party members the process of how I got here.

    Park Gyeong-cheol was impressed.

“You’re really amazing. Your experience of directly confronting the army of darkness will be very helpful to us in the future.”

Aibos, who thought he was the greatest, was intimidated by the appearance of someone even greater and said.

“Kyle Grandpa. You’re really amazing. Nisa Grandma too.”

Nisa clenched her fist tightly and scolded.

    “Who’s a grandma!”

Aibos, who had not yet experienced social life, asked with a puzzled expression.

“I’m only 300 years old? Aren’t you more than 700 years older than me? My mom is 800 years old.”

Nisa pointed her finger with an angry expression.

“You! You! It’s rude to talk about a woman’s age!”

The surrounding nobles forcibly suppressed their laughter at this situation.

Park Gyeong-cheol, unable to watch any longer, put his arm around Aibos and took him to the corner to explain.

Aibos had come to the palace before Baron Kyle and had become somewhat close to the Hero Party.

“Aibos hyung. Would you like it if a 10-year-old child called you uncle?”

“That’s definitely annoying. I was wrong!”

Aibos realized one aspect of social life.

Aibos approached me and Nisa and apologized.

“Kyle hyung-nim! Nisa noona! I’m really sorry!”

    The kind Nisa’s anger subsided.

“Heumheum~ He’s not a bad kid. I’ll let it go.”
