Chapter Index

Bae Yeon-hee’s report contained more information than expected.

The reason I rated her report well was not because she wrote it well in a tedious format or because the content in it was interesting.

‘It was fun to read about a high school student who was going around detonating EMPs due to academic stress, but it was also a bit milder version of TS.’

Well… what really matters is the facts behind it.

A fact that comes as a fresh surprise to someone who had a rough idea of how this world was going.

I thought back to the list of heroes and villains I had just seen.

‘Most of the characters in Bae Yeon-hee’s report were people I had never heard of before, people who did not appear in the original work.’

Heroes like Blue Phantom, Windrunner, and Ironclad, as well as the villains listed at the top of the report, were unfamiliar names.

The names of the heroes who were connected with the main character in the original work were occasionally seen on the back of the report, but they were not the people I am currently connected with. Judging from the fact that Bae Yeon-hee also postponed the order, it seems like she judged their importance not to be that great.

In reality, the appearance of a travel destination that can be seen in print or pictures is only a very small part of the reality.

It was like looking into a room of a building through a small window, or sitting in a dark audience watching a spotlighted theater stage.

When you actually enter a travel destination, you realize that there is a much wider world than just a small room or a narrow theater stage.

Such a report by Bae Yeon-hee made me think again about the thoughts I had when I brought Feng Liu from the Shanghai Institute.

    ‘I wonder how Namhira’s story will unfold… That’s what I’m thinking.’

The situation in the ruined academy where the main character died was more complicated and the story became uncontrollably entangled, but the solution was rather simple.

Because I broke into the palace with Janie, killed the king, and blew up the parliament, untangling the Gordian knot.

There was no reason why Namhira couldn’t end up like that.

There are many heroes and villains here with superpowers stronger than modern armies and agents, but my power is stronger than that.

If you put your mind to it, it wasn’t difficult to force yourself to see the ending at any travel destination, including this one.

However, what I want is not to see the ending quickly, but to anticipate the ending time.

If the ending condition was simply destroying some force or killing someone, it would have already been met when the events in Japan ended.

If so, there is a high probability that some other condition is at play.

‘That’s where the name Ignis was first used, and there are many connections made here, so it becomes annoying when reality and time are synchronized.’

In order to predict or control the ending, I first need to know how Nam Hee-ra ends…

‘By the way, how did it end?’

I stroked my chin and sat lost in thought.

To be honest, I don’t know the ending of Namhira.

Namhira is the first travel destination I chose when I had no powers and thought I could easily awaken my superpowers.

So, I only read up to the middle part of the story of this work. There was absolutely no need to read the story after the middle part because I was secretly picking up a meteorite and awakening my superpowers.

    But I wasn’t worried.

Maria, who had reviewed hundreds and thousands of works for me in an instant, must have known what it was about.

    – In fact, Namhee is more of a daily life story with a bit of fighting thrown in. Rather than a big main story where the fate of the world is at stake, it’s mainly a story about a male protagonist using superpowers and flirting with female heroes in a world where the gender roles are reversed.

As soon as I asked the question, the answer came right out of her.

    ‘So, how did it end?’

-It happened quietly. While I was working as a hero, the heroines I was dating got pregnant at the same time.

    ‘… Pregnancy? Pregnancy?’

I repeated the word to myself absentmindedly.

It’s not like he just ended up playing around with girls or that he had sex during a really fun time. How could it be a harem pregnancy ending?

While playing hero, the main character’s women are also flirting at the same time.

-After that, there was a side story about getting married and raising children, but that’s how it ended.

    ‘Pregnancy… pregnancy… ‘

    -Master?

Even as Maria continued to speak, my mind was still focused on the word pregnancy.

But that state did not last long.

I shook my head to recover from the shock.

‘No… In a way, it’s natural. If there’s romance, there’s also marriage, and this work wasn’t a boys’ comic to begin with.’

If you listen to Maria’s story, it doesn’t really have a problematic ending, except for the speeding violation before marriage and the simultaneous pregnancy.

But then, to see the ending, do I have to get women pregnant too?

‘Surely you can’t see the ending by getting the original heroines pregnant?’

I frowned slightly at the possibility that suddenly occurred to me.

The original protagonist is already dead and they never had a relationship in the first place, so it wouldn’t be like stealing someone else’s woman…

I didn’t feel like getting a woman I had never met pregnant just to see the ending.

Moral issues aside, I just don’t feel good about being treated like a stallion.

Since I have no intention of irresponsibly abandoning the child once it is born, I will have to take responsibility somehow…

It’s not that I postponed the moment when I would cure my azoospermia until the moment I met Namgung Hwa-ran again.

‘First of all, I was barely managing my relationships with women in real life, so if something like this happens…’

It was clear that the bowl would be scratched for at least several decades.

I pondered the possibility and glanced at my wrist where the ticket was.

‘… No. The ending won’t be decided that way.’

If the main character dies, I have to take his place?

That’s not much different from saying that there can’t be an ending without a main character.

‘The power of the tickets I’ve experienced so far isn’t that weak.’

Just think about how the story of the academy of ruin was twisted just by killing one supporting actor.

If I hadn’t stepped forward then, the rebel forces would have probably been annihilated by the dark protagonist and the revolution would have failed.

Then wouldn’t the ticket have marked that as the ending?

    ‘No. That’s just another ending.’

It doesn’t matter if it’s not the original ending.

Yes. If the story is twisted, the direction of the events will change, but in the end, the story will run toward the conclusion.

People who aren’t characters in the original work can also create endings. For example, there’s the case of Janie. Janie, who isn’t a character in the original work, contributed to the conclusion of the Academy of the Ruined Country together with me instead of the main character.

So, there are roughly two possibilities we can think of now.

One is that it ends automatically at the point where it was originally supposed to end. The ending criterion in this case is time.

Given the nature of Namhira, which does not have a solid main story, there is a high possibility that it will end even if you just wait.

If this is the case, there is nothing I really need to do.

You can just take your time and do whatever you have to do until the original story ends.

Second, the society has changed beyond a certain standard due to the protagonist’s hero activities. I included this because it is similar to the standard of the Academy of Ruined Countries that I have already experienced.

However, in this case, since I have already been heavily involved in hero activities, I will have to refrain from hero activities in the future in order to adjust the timing of the ending.

Choices related to pregnancy or the original heroine were intentionally excluded.

I don’t think you care much.

Anyway, the important thing is that even if I don’t intervene, the ending will come one way or another.

And that period is likely to be the same as or later than the original completion date, except in the second case.

‘When will the original work be completed?’

    -About a year from now.

‘Then I have plenty of time.’

One year is enough to finish all the work you need to do in Namhira.

    What happened after that…

You can either leave this place as a relaxing vacation spot or watch the ending and forget about it, whichever you want.

I’m not 100 percent sure, but it’s the most logical conclusion I can think of right now.

As I organized my thoughts like that, I felt my mind suddenly become more relaxed.

‘What, there was no need to rush it.’

And the leisurely mind was expressed in action.

    Snap-

    “What the…!”

I lightly tapped Bae Yeon-hee’s butt over her pants. She looked back in surprise.

Her face blushed slightly, but it wasn’t because she didn’t like it; it was because she was embarrassed by the sudden skinship.

In this world, it’s not even sexual harassment for a man who is close to a woman to touch her butt like this. The problem is that there are no men who touch her.

    Rather, isn’t it a reward?

Now, I am a generous boss who praises subordinates who do a good job.
