Chapter Index

    Comic Market Day 2.

If we say that day 1 was an event focusing on 2D cosplay.

The second day is the day when 3D cosplay, that is, a cosplay event mainly targeting ‘real’ heroes, is held.

If the 1st day is a day of cheers, the 2nd day is a day of greetings.

As it was Saturday, the first day of the weekend, there were more people than yesterday.

    “There are a lot.”

“Sure. There are more people than yesterday, it’s really scary. It’s scary to go inside.”

It is no exaggeration to say that on the first day alone, the floating population reached tens of thousands, or, to exaggerate, nearly 100,000.

“Isn’t this causing some kind of accident? No matter how wide and big the outlet is, I think it will be difficult to handle this crowd.”

“So I think we made an outdoor booth in a hurry yesterday morning. Look at the street over there.”

At the place I pointed to, there were gun carriages, the kind you often see at Japanese festivals, occupying the road and eagerly soliciting customers.

There are a lot of things that weren’t visible just yesterday.

Catching goldfish with a landing net, shooting dolls with something like a shotgun, or slathering bananas in chocolate and selling them on sticks.

“Now, now! If you go, buy it! Lots of hero masks!”

A summer festival that always appears in Japanese comics, with a little bit of the world of special abilities thrown in, is being held here.

    “In this hot weather….”

The temperature is almost 30 degrees.

“Even if it gets hot, I came out because I thought it was worth doing business thanks to someone.”

But that’s just the expected temperature; the actual weather is expected to be cooler than that.

“The reason these people come out and do business is because of a kind Snow White in Korea. Right?”

    Coo coo coo.

Two large advertising balloons are flying towards the event venue.

    -Yokoso, at Osaka Comic Market!

It is approaching the sky above the venue with a large ice crystal attached to its waist and a poster announcing the second day of the Osaka Comic Market.

“Thanks to that ice crystal, no one outside is sweating profusely right now. Are you fine? Is the connection working well?”

    “…Yes. No problem.”

Baek Sul-hee is still Baek Sul-hee.

“If Ice Jeong hadn’t come this far, I might have lost my concentration. There are too many people.”

Because the Japanese association was so serious about the Comic Market that it mobilized Ice Jeong to the event venue rather than Osaka City Hall, Baek Seol-hee was able to maintain her spirit without being overwhelmed by this large crowd.

If there are too many people, especially people with special abilities, the magic signal is bound to be interrupted a lot.

“If it had been called something like Hero Festival rather than a Comic Market event, would more people have flocked?”

    “Probably more ships than now.”

You may wonder why a Comic Market event attracts such a large crowd, but Osaka Comic Market is a large-scale festival sponsored by the government and associations like no other.

It has already become a part of Japanese culture along with existing traditional festivals.

    actually.

“Hey, look at the car coming in.”

    Sigh.

A black sedan heads inward along a road controlled by men in black suits.

It’s hard to see because of the thick suntan, but we already know who those people are through the article.

“The mayor of Osaka, a member of the National Assembly, and even the Minister of the Federation of Talents of Japan. If it were Tokyo, the prime minister would probably have come.”

This is the status of the comic market in this world.

At local festival events, anyone, whether a city council member or a county governor, comes and holds the microphone, but the politicians who come to the ‘Osaka Comic Market’ are not simply heads of local governments.

Those in power have some influence in the National Assembly.

“This is a sight we see often, Mr. Harang, right?”

“…People who want to come to an event they have no interest in just to take a picture?”

    “Yes.”

Just as Baek Sul-hee often suffered, politicians gathered at this event today to take pictures.

And to prepare for that, we dispersed throughout the venue.

“Other people, there will be no problem, right?”

“Of course. The layout is appropriate. It’s not for no reason that we start from different positions.”

Ymir was waiting somewhere else, and Nadeshiko went straight to the event venue.

Since the second day was an event with the theme of heroes, Nadeshiko also appeared as an organizer.

    There is one reason.

“We have to find out what Cheong Hye-seong is thinking when she appears at the official event.”

This is because Cheong Hye-seong, who is not just anyone else, decided to officially participate in the organizer’s event rather than hiding her identity through cosplay like she did yesterday.

Is Cheong Hye-seong, the instigator of the plan, not hiding in secret but coming forward?

    There is something.

“The person who originally decided not to participate suddenly changed his mind and officially decided to participate. Nadeshiko should watch closely from the side.”

“… Well, it seems like there were more people today because of that. They said they originally weren’t planning on coming in 1st and 2nd place.”

    “So.”

Why did those people in power rush to the event venue?

It was said that the S-Class 1st and 2nd placers, who would normally find it difficult to even take a picture, would come to the event in person, so they rushed over.

“I don’t know if I’ll be okay. Maybe it was Cheong Hye-seong’s plan to bring those people together.”

“Among the people gathered, is there anyone whose name was included in ‘that bill’?”

” Since this is a bill being promoted by the ruling party, you might think that the ruling party personnel are all the same. If we think of Cheong Hye-sung as our common sense, it would be difficult.”

    “Um….”

Is it because he can only use D-level abilities?

    “It’s difficult….”

Baek Seol-hee appeared more anxious than usual about the possibility of an accident caused by Cheong Hye-seong.

“It’s okay. If something happens, I will come out right away.”

I raised my thumb and patted my chest.

    Fluffy.

The black shirt swayed greatly as if floating in water.

“Because I came out today with the intention from the beginning.”

“…You’re more serious than I thought.”

“Of course. You don’t know what kind of accident will happen from the beginning.”

    Before the event starts.

    During the event.

And after the event is over.

“…You never know when an accident might happen, so you have to stay alert.”

Accidents always happen at unexpected times.

    “Don’t worry.”

I looked at the Taegeuk watch on my wrist.

“I flew all the way to Japan to prevent an accident, but it would be difficult if an accident occurred.”

    * * *

At that time, the center stage of the outlet.

“Haha, it’s been a while! Hyeseong Cheong!”

    “Nice to meet you, Mayor.”

While security guards form a double circle to control the crowd, middle-aged men in suits and a man and a woman stand side by side in the center of the venue.

“I never thought I would even see Nadeshiko. If you flew all the way to Osaka and participated in an event like this, did you really come to look for me? Haha!”

“Oh my, even a joke. I don’t plan on doing that with this kid, do I?”

Nadeshiko stood next to Cheong Hye-seong, blurting out the words of a politician who was making crude jokes at her.

    “You.”

    “Voice.”

Cheong Hye-seong tapped her index finger below her mouth.

“Don’t raise your voice. There are many ears to listen.”

“…Anyway, only you and I can hear it. What are you thinking?”

    “Well.”

Nadeshiko openly questioned Hye-seong Cheong, but Hye-seong Cheong simply waved and greeted the citizens who were taking pictures with their smartwatches aimed at them.

“Smile. If your sister stays like that, you’d think something would ruin the country.”

    “You….”

“I’m sorry if you’re sticking around to keep an eye on me. I just came with the hope that this Comiket would do well and that it would proceed safely.”

    Cheong Hye-seong looked around.

“Do you know how many people with special abilities come to Comic Market now? Whether Japanese or those from overseas, the number is almost three digits.”

Japan’s S-Class No. 1 and No. 2 were in one place, drawing everyone’s attention, but another group was forming a circle in the middle of the crowd.

It’s not S-class, but it’s A-class or B-class, or even C-class, which is well-known in its own way.

Fans gather around a talented person who is more handsome and prettier than a celebrity.

This is why the second day of Comiket is called ‘Insa Day’.

“Are you sure that at least one of them won’t get into an accident?”

    “Accidents will happen. Somebody. But…”

    Nadeshiko lowered her voice.

“If the biggest accident is supposed to happen because Japan is the strongest, I think I’ll have a real headache, right?”

“What accident? I am always just a hero.”

    “You….”

    “Smile, sister.”

Cheong Hye-seong lightly raised her thumb toward the broadcasting station camera.

“Someone said that the only thing left is photos.”

With Cheong Hye-seong and Nadeshiko in the middle, politicians lined up on either side.

    click.

Camera flashes continued to explode, signaling the official start of the event.

    * * *

    Walking around with Baek Seol-hee.

“I can’t see any of these arrogant guys.”

“Among those with special abilities, right?”

    “Yes.”

While Nadeshiko was marking the Blue Comet, we set out with the Ten Scholars, Park Uri, to find the whole being.

    -I will never say anything!!

-Even if you are a person with special abilities, your thoughts will change after you grind all your teeth.

    -…….

-Choose. Fingernail. toenail. molar. What should I pick first?

-…This dirty villain!! Argh!! stop!! Oh, I’ll tell you!!

Through polite and courteous conversation, we secured information overnight.

“…I thought it was a bit too much for a child.”

“It’s okay because I’m just a kid on the outside.”

Information revealed by Ten Scholars Park Uri.

    “‘Bibi’….”

    ‘Bibi’ from Hwalbindang.

An executive who is said to have replaced Yeongno, whom I previously met in Gangneung.

    Perhaps he plans Hye-seong Cheong-

    “……Huh?”

    “Why? What do you feel?”

    “…….”

    Far away.

    I feel something, a ‘wave’.

And where those waves can be felt.

    “……Higre?”

A man wearing red tights, white gloves, and a mask was walking around riding a children’s toy car (duck).

    [Hi-gre, it’s not—!]

And the moment he fired the ray gun around.

    “Hi! Hi gr!”

Everyone around me started taking strange poses.

    “…….”

A villain(?) who shoots brainwashing rays appears.
