Chapter Index

I got up from my seat and sat down on the bed.

My whole body was soaking wet.

    The same goes for hair.

I get out of bed, pushing back my hair, which is dripping with sticky liquid.

I achieved my goal of taking a nap, but my whole body felt sore.

The fatigue did not go away.

It was all Rain’s fault, sleeping on the bed.

    “Ugh…”

Go straight to the bathroom and wash everything off your body with hot water.

As the body warms up, the white skin becomes beautifully flushed.

After washing my body thoroughly, I come out wearing only a large bathrobe.

I looked out the window and dried my hair with a towel.

The sun that was floating in the sky disappeared without a trace.

What occupied that spot was a softly shining moon.

I was blankly staring out the window with moonlight streaming in, then I was startled and started walking around the room looking for my cell phone.

The cell phone was in his pants, which he had thrown off carelessly.

I checked the screen and swallowed dry saliva.

As expected, Amy received dozens of calls.

    My hands are shaking.

When I saw that there was only a phone call and no message, I became even more scared for some reason.

    “Rain! Rain!”

I started to quickly wake up the sleeping Rain.

If I didn’t go in now, Amy would probably come looking for me.

Rain squinted his eyes as if he was struggling, and groaned.

Just a few hours ago, she looked very tired, having been moving her body hard above and below me.

    But that wasn’t the point.

I hurriedly threw the sullen Rain into the bathroom.

After washing up, Rain used her powers to make my hair fluffy.

    Now you are ready.

I swallowed hard and left the room with Rain.

Rain, still seemingly unaware of what had happened, rubbed his sleepy eyes and clung to me.

    “Rain. Listen carefully.”

    “Ugh…”

“If we go back, Amy will probably interrogate us.”

    “Eh, Amy…?”

Rain blinked at my words, then opened his mouth wide.

Only then did he remember what he had done, and his face began to turn pale.

    I grabbed Rain’s shoulder.

“Listen carefully, Rain. We were having fun, and I just missed your call.”

    “Ugh, uh.”

    I swallowed dry saliva.

    It wasn’t a lie.

It’s true that I was so excited that I didn’t answer the phone.

The problem was that the game was difficult to put into words.

Lane nodded to me and took out his cell phone.

I looked over Lane’s shoulder and checked the screen of my phone.

As expected, there were dozens of calls from Amy on Lane’s phone.

Rain, who discovered it late, put the cell phone away with trembling hands.

I took out my cell phone with a very nervous expression and called Mr. Shumain.

Now it was time to go home.

    ***

With Mr. Shumine’s help, the moment we reached the forest where the headquarters was located beyond space, Mr. Shumine called out to me and Rain.

    “Jeff? Lane?

    “No?”

I was trying to go back quickly and quietly hug the doll, but what happened?

Since this was a call from someone with whom I usually had no conversation other than greetings, it was clear that he had important business to attend to.

“Have you been in touch with Amy?”

    “Oh, with mom?”

“Yeah, I was desperately looking for you?”

I swallowed dry saliva at Mr. Schmain’s words.

I was afraid to take the elevator down.

It seemed like the same thing happened to Rain, as the hand he was holding was trembling.

But I couldn’t not go back.

I exchanged glances with Rain and then boarded the elevator.

Unlike the rapidly descending floors of the elevator, my anxiety rose quickly.

    Ding-

We finally arrive at the floor we are staying on.

I went outside with Rain and searched the hallway.

    I can’t breathe.

I never knew when or where Amy would pop out and grab me by the scruff of the neck.

I started moving like a cat.

Stealthily, I walk down the hallway with Rain.

It doesn’t make a single sound, and sticks close to the wall, keeping an eye on its surroundings.

Luckily, Amy wasn’t in the hallway.

    I nodded to Lane.

We had to split up because Rain’s room was on the other side.

After sending Rain away like that, I felt left alone and started fidgeting with my hands.

I stood there, caught my breath, and headed to my room.

Arriving at the doorstep of the room, I swallowed dry saliva.

I felt like I couldn’t possibly open it by myself.

It was a moment of such hesitation.

The door, which had been tightly closed, began to open slowly, as if it had been waiting for me.

    “Jeff?”

It was Amy who opened the door and came out.

It wasn’t the light clothing we usually see in the morning, but rather a coat on as if he was going out.

She looked down at me, blinked, and quickly moved her hand.

The moment a hand quickly approached me and came into view, I was in Amy’s arms.

    “I’m back…”

I smiled cautiously, watching Amy’s expression.

Amy started staring at me without saying anything.

At those burdensome eyes, when I finally avoided eye contact, she opened her mouth.

    “Why are you so late?”

“Oh, you’re late… You often go out at this time…”

“That was a long time ago.”

    I blinked at Amy’s words.

Does that mean it was possible before, but not now?

Not understanding what Amy was saying, I just stared at her blankly.

“Why didn’t you answer my phone again?”

    “That, that… Playing with Rain…”

“You were so busy that you couldn’t even answer the phone?”

“Yeah… But, why did you call…?”

“I was just worried about when you’d come in.”

    “Umm…”

I nodded to Amy’s question and avoided eye contact.

I just didn’t have the confidence to make eye contact.

Amy stared at me for a moment, then suddenly put her face against the nape of my neck and started sniffing.

    Sniff sniff-

    “Did you wash up?”

    I nodded, biting my lip.

Because I didn’t know that you would even be able to detect the smell.

    “No, I sweat a lot because I’m playing…”

Amy nodded at my words, closed the door, and headed inside.

I swallowed dryly, looking at the door that was getting further and further away.

“Did you wash the rain too?”

“Yes. Rain took a shower too.”

“I see…? I guess there were shower facilities at the play area?”

    “Yes…”

    I couldn’t understand Amy’s reaction.

It’s true that we argued until late at night, but I didn’t show this obsession in the past.

Even back then, since it was common for Rain and I to go out and come back overnight, I thought things would get over without incident.

“Excuse me, excuse me, can you please let me down?”

I said to Amy, my legs flailing in the air.

But she shook her head with a determined expression.

    “No.”

    “Huh? Why?”

“I feel like if I let you go, you’ll run away.”

    “Do, run away…”

“No way, Jeff has to be with his mom.”

I turned my gaze away from Amy and gave a helpful look to Shine, who was sitting on the sofa.

She was watching television with a tired expression, then she looked at me, smiled, and stuck her tongue out.

It seemed like he had the morning’s events on his mind.

    I couldn’t even hope for Shine’s help, and I couldn’t escape Amy’s embrace.

Amy just held me in her arms and watched me without doing anything.

Rather than constantly asking questions, it was harder to endure this kind of silent pressure.

    I made a sad face.

    “Jeff.”

    “Yes…”

    “Did you wash with Rain?”

I just rolled my eyes at Amy’s question.

As he was avoiding the question, Amy added quietly.

    “I smell rain from Jeff.”

    “Yes…huh?”

I quickly raised my arm and sniffed.

I thought I had a sensitive sense of smell, but I didn’t smell anything like Rain on my body.

All I could smell was the faint scent of body wash.

    “Is it dark…?”

    I gaped at Amy’s words.

Because the things I did with Rain came to mind.

After rubbing them together for so long, it wouldn’t be strange if they had Rain’s scent on them.

“It looks like you two had fun.”

I breathed a sigh of relief at Amy’s words.

Luckily, she didn’t seem to think it was strange that I smelled like Rain.

No, it was clear that he was thinking that way right now.

If I continued to walk around like this, with the smell of Rain wafting off my body, I was sure to get caught.

It seemed like I’d have to refrain from playing with Rain for the time being.

Contrary to her fears, Amy didn’t ask any more questions about the matter after that.

    Rain didn’t even come looking.

    I was so lucky.

But Amy wouldn’t let me go.

Just like he did in the morning, he held me in his arms and started to handle everything.

From organizing documents, to eating, to brushing your teeth before going to bed.

He never let me down, not even paying attention to my requests to get off because I was uncomfortable.

Amy sat me down on a chair and handed me a toothbrush.

    “I, I can do it by myself…”

“That’s because Mom wanted to do it for me.”

I rolled my eyes at Amy’s words and opened my mouth.

    A toothbrush enters the mouth.

The long, furry stick began to gently swirl around my mouth.

A gentle touch continues, making sure no part is missed.

    Chikachika-

I looked at Amy with my mouth open.

Amy’s eyes, which were carefully cleaning the inside of her mouth, showed deep affection.

It’s not the kind of affection you have for your daughter, it’s affection in a different sense.

Back in the old days, not long after I arrived here, I had a similar feeling when Shine looked at me.

“Come on, stick your tongue out.”

    “Bae-”

I stuck my tongue out like Amy said.

Amy stopped brushing her teeth as she stuck her little tongue out.

Wasn’t it supposed to be brushing your tongue?

As I was looking at her with a puzzled look, Amy reached out her finger and felt my tongue.

As I was looking at her with a puzzled look at the warm sensation of her tongue, Amy was startled and held out her toothbrush.

    Evil- Evil-

A soft brush sweeps across the tongue.

That movement was somehow a little difficult to endure.

As I clenched my teeth at the tickling sensation stimulating my tongue, Amy shook the toothbrush as if to tell me to open my mouth quickly.

    “Oh, Mom…”

    “Huh?”

    “It tickles…”

As I spoke, my mouth pursed, Amy nodded with a small smile.

“I won’t make it ticklish this time.”

I opened my mouth cautiously to hear her words.

Amy started moving the toothbrush again.

A little faster and a little more briskly.

Evil evil – The movement of the tongue sweeping down makes my body tremble.

The body, which had been developed to the fullest by Shine and Rain, began to get excited even by simple brushing of teeth.

I was so surprised by my body’s reaction that I kept my mouth shut.

“Hey, I’ll spit out some foam!”

I said as I hurriedly got up from my seat, but I couldn’t escape Amy’s arms.

Amy picked me up in her arms and led me to the bathroom sink.

    “Okay, spit it out.”

I cried and spat out a lot of white foam into the sink at Amy’s words.

I had a feeling something was going to happen sooner or later.
