Chapter Index

Jeff and Amy arrived at the elementary school that Shine attends.

Jeff nodded as he climbed up the far wall and looked around the school.

Although the security facilities were a bit shaky, it was a relatively satisfactory place.

    “It’s a pretty good place.”

“Because it’s the place your grandfather made.”

    “Grandpa?”

    Jeff blinked at Amy’s words.

Grandpa, what on earth is Amy talking about?

Oh, does that mean my grandfather is still alive here?

    Jeff nodded, convinced to himself.

    “Hmm. Grandpa. I see.”

    “Jeff. By any chance…”

Amy trailed off and looked at Jeff.

It was out of worry that I might have said something wrong.

But Jeff shook his head as if nothing had happened.

“Yeah. I don’t think Mom is worried. I don’t even know what my grandfather looks like.”

Jeff said that with a small smile.

    She thought of her mother.

    I mean, my real mother.

Amy. She lost her father at a fairly young age.

I don’t know the details because it wasn’t specifically mentioned, but perhaps something like that had happened before I met you.

Jeff, who was lost in thought, noticed Amy mumbling and grabbed her hand.

    The mood is getting quieter.

    Jeff didn’t like this atmosphere.

I wanted to enjoy the remaining time as much as possible.

“Is it okay if I come in?”

    “Ma, I already said that…?”

Jeff kicked the ground at the end of Amy’s answer.

PASIC – A blue light sped up Jeff’s body for a split second.

    A strong wind is blowing.

The moment Amy thought that, the two women arrived at the rooftop of the school building.

    A late-blooming wind flaps Jeff’s coat.

    “Where is my sister?”

    It’s a tremendous ability.

Amy watched Jeff walk away as if nothing had happened, and touched my shoulder.

The part where Jeff had just been holding on to started tingling.

Maybe it was because it was lunchtime.

Many students were freely walking around the campus.

Jeff leaned over the railing and looked down.

As Jeff’s gaze was looking down, he finally caught sight of Shine, who he was looking for.

Shine was standing behind the school with Rain.

Judging by the two other little girls around her, she seemed to be her sister’s friends.

“Mom. My sister is playing with her friends.”

    “Really?”

Amy rushed to Jeff’s words and hung on the railing.

Her gaze follows Jeff’s finger towards the back of the school.

It was a place full of flower beds.

“What are you trying to do?”

    “I don’t know.”

Shine was standing in front of the children and talking about something.

The distance was too far for him to hear her voice, but Jeff could guess a few words from the shape of Shine’s lips.

    “Cat. Walk? Photo?”

    “Can you hear that?”

Amy looked surprised at Jeff’s words.

I couldn’t believe that I could hear your voice even though it was so far away.

Jeff shook his head at Amy’s words.

It’s not something you can hear.

I just inferred the word from the shape of the mouth.

“Just. I guessed the word from the shape of your mouth.”

    “Can you see that…?”

    “A little bit?”

While the mother and daughter were talking, Shine took a pink leash out of her pocket.

It seemed like he was going out for a walk and playing with the cat.

    It’s a cat.

    Did your sister like animals?

    Jeff shook his head.

The sister I knew didn’t like pets very much.

    But maybe it’s different here.

That was the moment I thought so.

Shine’s actions far exceeded Jeff’s expectations.

I tie a pink leash to my friend.

The girl with black hair didn’t resist.

He stuck his head out and accepted the hand as if it were natural.

    “Wow…”

Jeff looked at the sight with admiration.

What on earth are you thinking?

The cat wasn’t a real cat.

I was just trying to play like that.

Jeff frowned and stroked my neck.

I’ve had a few experiences, but they aren’t very good memories.

The older sister here was more than I thought, not less.

    “Sha, shine…”

Amy was looking at Shine’s appearance with trembling eyes, as if she couldn’t believe it.

Jeff recalled a mischievous smile on Amy’s face.

“There’s nothing strange about it, right?”

    “Huh…?”

    “Just playing cat games.”

Amy couldn’t come to her senses at Jeff’s words.

In her common sense, putting a leash around her friend’s neck while playing cat was something she couldn’t even imagine.

Jeff looked at the sight and thought.

If I just leaned back a little more, just a little more, it seemed like Amy would naturally come over.

Jeff started to draw on the rhetoric he had learned from his sister.

“Look carefully. I’m just playing normally. I used to play like that when I was little.”

    “Uh, yeah, really?”

    Amy’s face begins to flush.

An unknown heat begins to rise in her trembling pink eyes.

Jeff just watched his sister do it.

Take your friend for a walk while holding the leash in your hand.

The friend walks on all fours again, as if he is happy.

    Is that a real cat?

The moment I thought that, another friend started taking pictures from a little distance away.

The friend who played the role of the cat, after the walk, lay down on the grass and showed his belly.

Rain smiled brightly at the sight.

Immediately afterwards, her hands began to caress the little girl’s belly.

    Jeff looked at Amy.

But Amy, who was in a state of confusion, seemed not to have noticed Lane’s appearance, and was holding her face and gasping for breath.

“When you were little, did you ever imitate animals? Something like that.”

    “Oh, is that so…”

Amy thought back to her childhood.

I once barked in front of Chuchu, who was a small puppy.

“Yes. I told you, it’s not weird at all. Mom, do you want to try it too?”

    “Huh, huh?”

    “Cat play. With me.”

Jeff looked at Amy and smiled playfully.

Amy began to imagine herself and Jeff playing cat and mouse at Jeff’s words.

A large cat named Jeff was lying down underneath him.

I had a pink leash in my hand, and as I walked forward and pulled on the leash, Jeff followed.

Amy felt an inexplicable emotion for a moment and clutched her chest.

    Boom bang-

My heart is pounding so hard it feels like it’s going to burst.

Jeff narrowed his eyes at the sight.

Then her mouth opened and she imitated the sound of a cat.

    “Meow~”

    Those words became the wedge.

    Amy’s face instantly heats up.

    “Come on, stop kidding!”

Amy screams and collapses, covering her face.

    “That can’t be normal…”

Jeff’s smile deepens as Amy’s words flow out weakly.

“Huh? How could that be? I’ve even played puppy with my mom?”

    “, a puppy?”

“Yes. As a mother dog and a baby dog…”

The moment he said that, Jeff’s expression instantly froze.

The cold, chilly gaze is directed towards the sky.

“Wait a minute… Mom, I’ll be back in a minute.”

“Huh? Uh. Uh… No, but where?”

Amy asked belatedly, flustered, but couldn’t hear Jeff’s answer.

    Dismissal-

There was only a faint current flowing before my eyes.

Amy, left alone, began to sort out her confused mind.

The last thing Jeff said bothered me.

Is that kind of play normal?

    really?

    Amy was confused.

And what about that puppy play he did with Jeff?

    Phew-

Amy sighed and covered her face.

    This is not right.

    I’m a mom.

I felt so swayed by Jeff.

Jeff, who was about the same age as her, was too much for Amy to handle.

What should she do? If it really happened later, Amy didn’t have the confidence to control Jeff.

    ***

    Above the empty sky.

Jeff appeared in the blue sky.

A faint electric shock surged through her body.

In her hand she held a small flying saucer, the lens of a small camera inside which was constantly rotating.

    “Who the hell are you?”

They were taking pictures of themselves without any fear.

Normally, I wouldn’t have even allowed her to approach me, but I was having so much fun with the young mother that my guard was down.

    Phagejik-

Jeff began to track the radio signals connecting to the flying saucer.

A large map had already formed in her head, detailing its location.

    Dismissal-

Jeff’s body disappeared, leaving a faint spark in the air.

Jeff reappeared in the sky above a large castle.

She looked down and smiled ferociously.

Jeff’s hand begins to rise as the cameras feel from all sides.

It was time for him to be punished for daring to look after himself and his mother without permission.

    Dismissal-

    Jeff’s fingers flick.

The blue lightning that burst out with a small sound destroyed all the cameras installed within the castle.

Inside the castle, a loud siren sound begins to resonate.

Jeff looked at the sight and began to relax.

As the siren sounded, movement of people began to be felt within the castle.

A crowd of people with considerable ability pours out.

Jeff saw the sight and started to move.

At that moment, Jeff’s figure in the air disappeared.

Jeff showed up inside the castle.

She began to admire the neat hallway.

Since all the cameras within the castle were also destroyed, no one could detect her movements.

So Jeff started walking deeper into the castle.

The transmission from the flying saucer continued deep into the castle.

As Jeff was walking down the hallway, a man blocked his path.

    Bodyguard?

Jeff’s gaze scans the man in front of him.

I felt qualitatively different from those who had rushed out.

Dressed in a black suit, he prepared to fight without saying a word.

Speculation that is slowly being drawn up, and eyes that are quietly settling.

Jeff raised his hand at the sight.

At that moment, the man and woman moved simultaneously.

Arms and arms tangle in the air.

    pop!

A loud explosion erupts, making it hard to believe that body had collided with body.

Jeff smiled as if he found the reaction amusing.

The opponent was dealing with the wind.

Use the ability at the end of the impact point to increase speed.

My hands are tingling from the strong force.

    It was an interesting application.

    But that was it.

Jeff’s body began to move rapidly from side to side.

A fist carrying the rotational force and weight of the body strikes the air.

    Boom-! Boom-! Boom-!

The moment he hit the final air, Jeff knew.

    The opponent’s abilities were scattered.

That means the defense is empty.

The slightly tilted posture of the opponent catches the eye.

At that moment, Jeff’s body spun quickly and stretched out his legs.

    bang!

A long roundhouse kick sends the man flying.

The man flew down a long hallway, crashed into a large door, and rolled inside.

Jeff smiled slightly at the sight.

That was exactly what she was looking for.

As he walked forward with that thought, Jeff felt something inexplicable.

A feeling I’ve never felt before.

    Everything starts to slow down.

Jeff’s gaze turned toward the inside of the collapsed door.

Someone was walking out from inside the door.

In the slowed time, the man alone appears unaffected and slowly walks out.

    piercer.

    Heavy atmosphere.

    All-white gray hair.

    Ferman, he thought.

Looking at the woman in front of me, I knew that she was quite a dangerous opponent.

He was looking into it because he thought it was suspicious to see him with his daughter.

But at some point, our eyes met through the camera.

Immediately after that, the woman disappeared.

The moment he was about to find out what was going on, her figure appeared above his castle.

In that brief moment, it meant that he had figured out his location.

Are you a warp ability user?

    Or space system?

    Or acceleration?

I couldn’t even guess what the ability was.

Even his own bodyguard, Chen, fell out.

It also means that he is excellent at physical training.

A cold sweat ran down my face.

Where on earth did such a talented person come from?

    Ferman’s eyes sink deeply.

    First, subdue…

When Ferman arrived in front of the woman, he felt a strange feeling.

    Time has clearly stopped.

    That must have been it.

In the frozen time, he was the only one who could move.

He was the only one who could perceive his surroundings.

    That must have been it.

But the woman’s gaze was directed at him.

The moment I recognized that gaze.

    Phagec!

A small spark sounded in Ferman’s ear.

A blue flash covers my eyes.

The moment he realized the situation, Ferman activated his next ability.
