Chapter Index

    “… … ”

I blinked blankly and looked out the window.

The sunlight was shining warmly into the room, as if blessing us as usual.

    “Hmm…Sister…”

    “Hehe..Hera…”

I looked at Iris and Lily, who were snoring with bright smiles on their faces on either side of me.

Iris was in a deep sleep, drooling on her pillow, and Lily was holding Iris in her arms and calling my name over and over again.

After an intense and thrilling night, a bright morning greeted by my lovely and cute wives.

Originally, it would have been an incredibly happy situation…

    “Haa…”

I sighed in frustration and frowned.

I slowly stroked my stomach, but only a feeling of emptiness lingered within me.

    Kkadak-

I ended up biting my thumb nail out of nervousness and anxiety.

Lately, I’ve been feeling uneasy because all I’ve been doing is stressing me out.

    ‘..I can’t have a child..’

It’s been about two months since I started spending the night with my wives.

During those two months, I had sex with my wives every day.

They have been steadily working to receive their seeds in their arms.

But, to my dismay, I still haven’t gotten pregnant.

Contrary to my determination to keep my promise to Arewa, my body still seemed unwilling to embrace her.

    Kkadak-

I was frustrated with the situation not working out the way I wanted.

Since pregnancy was not something I could control, and it was something I could only hope for, I felt a terrible sense of helplessness.

“Huh? Uh..Hmm..? Sister..Are you awake? When did you wake up.”

Lily, who had just woken up, crawled into my arms with a leisurely smile.

Lily, perhaps because she was horny from the morning, started rubbing my waist while nodding off.

“..Lily. Can you let this go? I’m not in the mood right now.”

But despite my words, Lily kneaded my thigh with a lustful voice.

“Um…I don’t like it…Let’s do it again, sis. Okay?”

    “No. Let’s go eat first.”

Lily’s sinister hands didn’t stop at my thighs, but soon began to move up to my chest.

Her behavior made me very angry.

“Hehehe..what’s wrong, sis? Where is the person who was screaming that it was okay just last night-”

“Lily, come on! I told you not to!”

As I pushed Lily away with an irritated voice, Lily looked at me with her blank amethyst eyes.

    “Huh..Sister..?”

“Why do you keep doing that when I say no! I don’t feel like it..!”

I could count on one hand the number of times I’d yelled at Lily, but for some reason now I couldn’t stand to be annoyed with her.

Lily, perhaps not expecting my anger, approached me cautiously with her eyes shaking violently and grabbed my hand.

    “Mi..I’m sorry, sis..I didn’t read the mood. ”

    “…sigh.”

“Please let go of my anger, sis.. ok..? I’m sorry..”

The irritation that had been rising in Lily’s slightly wet, bright purple eyes immediately subsided.

And what took the place of the irritation was a terrible sense of self-loathing.

    ‘Me too…what am I doing…’

It’s not Lily’s fault that I can’t get pregnant…I ended up taking my anger out on her for no reason.

I took a deep breath and hugged Lily tightly.

“I’m sorry for being annoying, Lily. I guess it’s because you’re sensitive these days.”

    “Yeah… It’s okay, sis.”

I made up with Lily, but it seemed like she was still watching me closely.

    …It’ll get better with time.

    This sensitivity of mine too.

And the anxiety that I might not be able to grant Aree’s request.

    .

    .

    .

But contrary to my expectations, the anxiety that was eating away at me was making me more and more haggard as time went on.

Even though Sister Dania’s extravagantly prepared table was right in front of me, I slowly placed my chopsticks down on the table.

“Hera..Aren’t you going to eat any more?”

Sister Dania looked at me with worried eyes.

I didn’t want to make my sister sad, but I really had no appetite.

“I’m sorry, unnie, for all the hard work you put into preparing it..”

“No. You don’t have to be sorry at all, Hera. I’m just worried because you don’t look so good these days.”

Today, as always, I felt sorry for my sister who was so kind.

“It’s okay, sis. Thank you for worrying about me.”

“…Okay. If that’s you, I won’t worry. But you should eat a little bit. You need to eat something to get your strength back.”

I nodded weakly at my sister’s words.

Yeah. Like my sister said, I should eat something to gain strength.

I struggled to hold my chopsticks and started eating the breakfast my sister had prepared for me.

I had no appetite, but my sister’s cooking was still delicious.

From warm soups to meaty, soft breads.

A potato dish that smells delicious. And…

    “Ugh… !”

I covered my mouth at the sudden feeling of nausea.

Then, my older sister Dania, who was watching me from the side, put a handkerchief to my mouth with a very surprised face.

    “Are you okay, Hera?

    “Ugh..”

Feeling nauseous, I covered my mouth with the handkerchief my sister gave me and vomited out my stomach.

After a while, I clenched my fists again, feeling like I was going to cry again.

    It’s annoying.

Why can’t I even eat the food my sister makes?

It was definitely a really fun day just a few days ago…

Despite my wives’ efforts, I can’t get pregnant, so even pointless things feel stressful.

What is wrong with my body?

Well… it might not have been a holy body.

“I’m sorry, sis. I’ll go in first..”

I spoke to my sister weakly, feeling depressed.

For some reason, I feel depressed and weak today.

    “… No way?”

Leaving behind the serious-sounding voice of Sister Dania.

I went back to my room with slumped shoulders.

    *

A room in a large mansion where everyone lives.

There, Hera’s six wives sat in a circle with serious expressions on their faces.

“…You all know that Hera is having a hard time these days, right?”

Athena was the first to speak in the tense atmosphere.

The other wives nodded with drooping expressions at her words.

Among them, Marie in particular was sobbing and making a sad voice.

“I can’t even eat well… My expression is not good… I think Mom is very sick…”

    Iris spoke to Marie’s words.

“But I’m sure there’s no illness or injury. I’ve checked that several times.”

“You seem very stressed…I wonder if something is wrong?”

Lily nodded in agreement with Ariel’s continued words.

“Maybe it’s because we’ve been working you too hard. We only do it once a week, but you do it every night, right?”

    “That could be possible. ”

Athena let out a short sigh and held her pounding head.

An ecstatic sleep with Hera that cannot be compared to any other moment.

That time was so precious that it compensated for all the hardships I had endured so far.

If possible, I wanted to protect at least the time I spent sleeping with Hera.

“Is it right to leave Hera alone for the time being?”

No one was able to give a hasty answer to Athena’s words.

Everyone here didn’t want to let go of the night with Hera.

While such a stuffy and gloomy silence was falling around them.

Dania carefully placed something in front of them.

“Hey..guys. Want to take a look at this?”

What Dania uploaded was a bowl.

The fish on top looked like it had barely been eaten at all.

    “What is this?”

    Athena asked, raising one eyebrow.

“This is the food Hera ate this morning and made her feel sick.”

    “What?”

Athena looked at Dania with cold, sunken eyes.

“What on earth did you do with the food that made Hera feel sick? That kid who eats everything without being picky.”

“I ate every bite of other foods, but I couldn’t eat fish.”

“I haven’t heard that Hera hates fish.”

As Athena muttered to herself, Iris cautiously brought up her opinion.

“Is your appetite changing due to stress?”

“My sister is secretly sensitive to such emotions, so there may have been a change.”

“You should eat well at least Mom’s food…”

Dania let out a short sigh at the remarks of her wives who had no idea what she was saying.

‘..I guess you don’t know anything.’

Although they were each experts in magic, swordsmanship, or special abilities, they seemed to be less knowledgeable about the symptoms of the human body than others.

    “Kids. Think carefully.”

Dania, who captured everyone’s attention with her calm voice, immediately continued speaking with a serious expression.

“He has become more sensitive than before and occasionally shows symptoms of depression. He looks weak and, more than anything, he feels nauseous after eating fish, which is a fishy food.”

Athena listened attentively to Dania’s words as she explained them one by one. Soon, as if she had noticed something, her pupils began to shake as if there was an earthquake.

Dania noticed Athena’s appearance and looked at the other wives.

“I really don’t know what this means?”
