Chapter Index

As I wiped my sticky fingers on a handkerchief, Rain mumbled with a satisfied smile.

I looked at that sight and thought.

    Is this kid really sleeping?

I was really suspicious, but I didn’t think to press the cheek again.

What if I put it in my mouth and suck it again?

I didn’t like it being sticky.

As Shine said, I decided to wait quietly in the classroom until she came back.

The head also shakes in time with the back and forth swing of the legs.

A humming sound comes out softly.

    What did Shine go do?

I don’t think it was really because of the cat.

He compared a cat to something.

    So, what is that cat?

    Living person?

If not that, then a doll?

But even if I thought about it like this now, I couldn’t figure out anything.

I had a hard time enduring the boring time without doing anything, so I opened the book that Shine was studying.

It was a book that showed the traces of hard study.

Between the sentences, important stars were drawn, and in a small notebook spread out on one side, the sentence was written.

Difficult and complicated writing makes my eyes dizzy.

It seemed like this was the book I had specifically requested from Grandfather Ferman.

It’s still too early for us to learn.

Shine was ahead of the curve.

I frowned and pushed the book away.

I really hate studying difficult subjects.

I waited for Shine for a long time.

Just as I was about to worry about her in the class that was about to come, something black flew over my legs.

My body tilts to the side due to the rather heavy weight.

    “Oops.”

Contrary to the embarrassed sound that came out of her mouth, her hands were holding the small body that had jumped into my arms.

    Small and soft body.

    Black hair flows softly.

    “Princess…?”

It was Prin who jumped into my arms.

As I looked around in confusion, I saw Shine leaning against the entrance of the classroom, looking at me with her legs crossed.

    “Shine…?”

    Prince and Shine suddenly appeared.

Are you saying that the cat you were going to meet was Frin?

Despite the incomprehensible situation, his hand moved naturally and stroked Prin’s head.

    Then something amazing happened.

Prince purred and snuggled deeper into my arms, as if he were a cat.

Of course, it wasn’t out of place for cute Prince to act like this, but it was a little disconcerting.

As I was standing there, unable to do anything, with my hands off of me, Shine came over and spoke.

    “How is it?”

    “Oh, what do you think?”

    “It’s a cat.”

As if responding to Shine’s words, Prin raised his head, tilted his head, and meowed.

At that sight, I held my breath and clutched my chest.

Haven’t you learned that making that kind of expression on your cute and innocent face puts a strain on your heart?

    “Oh, a cat. Prin?”

“Yeah. It was a thieving cat with naughty thoughts.”

Prince began to rub his body against mine, gently rubbing his scent on me, as if imitating a cat’s behavior.

Shine, who was watching the scene, grabbed Prin’s arm and pulled him to his seat.

And then he whispered something in my ear.

Then Prin blinked and began to react as if he were a different person.

“Ah, ahhh! Aaaah! Here, ah. Senior Jeff? Shine, Senior Shine? ”

She looked so pitiful, like a broken girl, trembling and looking around.

At Prin’s sudden reaction, others’ eyes begin to gather.

Then, Shine whispered something in Prin’s ear again.

    Ruby red eyes slowly shake.

In line with this, Prince became a cat again.

Prin, lying face down between Shine and my chair, her body stretching out, rubbed her face against my leg.

    “Meow~”

    “This is driving me crazy.”

At the words that came out of my mouth, Prin smiled strangely.

    This is driving me crazy.

My gaze disappears at the sight of Prince who has become calm again.

“Did you see? Prin is a cat.”

I don’t know what Shine did, but for now, it seemed safer for her to remain a cat.

I hugged Prin and sat her down in Appleton’s empty seat.

Then, Prin jumped up on the desk, curled up like a cat, and lay down.

I checked my watch in a hurry.

Break time is coming to an end, and the next class is just around the corner.

If the teacher came in, it was only a matter of time before he caught Prin’s sight.

First, in a hurry, he snatched the chick blanket that Rain was covering herself with and covered it over Prin’s body.

The little girl was able to cover her entire body with it.

    I was so lucky.

“Hey. Shine. Do you know why Prin became a cat?”

“Yeah. I made it like that?”

After answering my question, Shine tilted her head as if to ask what the problem was and sat down.

Her hand went to Prin’s head.

Swish-swish- As she gently stroked his hair, it seemed as if Shine really thought Prin was a cat.

“But, Shine! How can a person become a cat?”

Shine’s head tilts again at my question.

After a moment, her small mouth opened and answered.

    “I’m watching you right now.”

I looked at Shine and Prin with wavering eyes.

Are you planning on doing this right now?

It’s not like a hidden camera, is it?

    I quickly looked around.

I couldn’t use my abilities, so I couldn’t check properly, but at least there was nothing out of the ordinary inside the classroom.

“Jeff, don’t think too hard about it. Just accept it as it is.”

    “Ah. Ugh…”

I nodded at Shine’s dubious words.

    Prince is a cat.

    cat.

    Cute cat.

No, think about it. How could that be a cat?

But you said Shine was a cat.

No, look carefully. Prin is a person.

    Girl. Cute girl.

    Yeah, cat girl.

In my head, two Jeffs start fighting.

Jeff, a good boy who listens to his sister well, and Jeff, who has become rough around the edges after reaching puberty.

I crossed my arms and glared at Prin.

A suspicious girl, a girl who received physical training not much different from us.

The girl suddenly turned into a cat.

“Hey. Shine. Even if Frin became a cat, if you brought her here so suddenly, Fran would be worried.”

I told Shine to pet the cat, no, to pet Prince.

Since Prin and Fran are twins like us, it was obvious that they would worry about each other a lot.

If I were Fran, I would have definitely wandered around looking for the suddenly disappeared Frin.

Shine, who seemed lost in thought at my words, nodded.

Fortunately, she seemed to agree with my thoughts.

“Don’t worry. I’ll send it back soon. I just brought it here to fix something for a bit.”

    “You’re going to fix it?”

“Prin was doing something bad. Something that could have put Jeff and me in danger.”

    “Bad thing?”

“Yeah. I don’t have everything figured out yet, but it’s bad.”

Shine, who had been stroking her hair, pressed down hard on Prin’s head with both hands, causing Prin to sag and stick out his tongue.

She looked like a cat that had taken a ton of sleeping pills, drooling and sitting motionless at her desk.

This is a cat about to go on the operating table.

“Don’t worry, I’ll release it soon.”

Shine began to stroke Prince’s head.

    It was literally a mess.

He looked around here and there and made a face as if he was thinking about something.

Even after class started, her behavior didn’t stop.

The teacher standing in front of the desk looked at Shine’s desk, but didn’t say anything.

He seemed to think of Prin, who was fortunately covered with a large blanket, as an ordinary cushion.

    “Jeff.”

    “Huh?”

While I was writing down what was written on the blackboard, I heard Shine’s voice.

I answered her with just a slight turn of my head.

    “How was the cat print?”

    “It was pretty cute. Yeah.”

    “Really? You like it?”

    I nodded.

Then Shine muttered in a small voice and tapped Prin’s head.

“Let’s leave the cat behind for now…”

    And so the class ended.

Although I was anxious, I was able to finish the class quietly without being caught even once.

I sighed in relief and turned around to sit down.

Even though class is over, Shine’s work isn’t over yet.

    “Shine.”

“It’s almost done. Just wait a minute.”

I was starting to get a little worried about Fran’s behavior.

My twin sister suddenly disappeared for an hour.

You won’t be able to learn it if you don’t look for it.

It seemed like Shine’s work was nearing its final stages.

    “Um…”

Shine nodded after taking her hands off Prin’s head.

Judging by his satisfied expression, it seemed like things went as planned.

“Do you think it went well?”

“Yeah. I left the cat part that Jeff likes too.”

“What on earth did you fix?”

“You’ll know when you see it.”

Shine patted Prin’s cheek as he lay there, telling him to look carefully.

It was a light gesture, but it made quite a loud noise, so I was startled.

    That was the moment.

Frin’s closed eyes opened, revealing bright ruby-like pupils.

    Her gaze scans her surroundings.

She got up from her seat and began to stretch, as if she had just woken up from a deep sleep.

    In cat pose, that is.

I looked at that sight and said to Shine.

    “This, is it weird?”

“Jeff said he liked the cat part, so he left it.”

Pin Prin, who had been lying down, neatly folded the blanket covering his body and sat down on the desk.

The little legs swing back and forth.

    “Ugh…”

He looked so cute, blinking his eyes as if he was still half asleep.

    “Here…”

“This is a 6th grade classroom.”

    “6th grade… 6th grade?”

Only then did Prin come to his senses, and he jumped down from the desk and looked around.

There were people much taller than Prince all around.

She approached me with a puzzled look on her face, looking around warily.

I blinked and stared blankly at her appearance.

“Huh. Huh. Suddenly a 6th grade classroom, I’m a little surprised. No, really. Quite a bit? Hmm…”

Perhaps still half-asleep, Prince began to ramble.

He made a complicated expression as if he didn’t even know what he was saying, then he stuck out his tongue and licked the back of his hand.

    Just like a cat.

    “How is it?”

Shine looked at me and proudly asked me.

As if he were a child showing off his work.

    I answered, hugging Prince.

    “It’s absolutely perfect!”

    Prince has become cuter.

It may seem a little stupid, but if it’s cute, then that’s fine.

    Prin became the perfect junior.

“Excuse me. Jeff, can you please leave me alone? I think I should go back soon. Fran is waiting for me.”

“That would be great. Jeff. I told Fran I’d like to talk to her for a bit.”

I nodded to Shine’s words and let go of Prin.

Prin, who came out of my arms, jumped up from her seat and started to fix her clothes and hair.

After examining the wrinkled area, brush your hair as usual.

    “Excuse me.”

    Bow, Prince’s head bows deeply.

I watched the back of Prin as he hurried out of the classroom.

A cat, should I give it a tail?

It was a day when the cat tail toy that Rain had been looking at came to mind.
