Chapter Index

    “I can’t believe you’re even doing this…”

I was sorting the crops now. The reason I bothered to do so much with Arjen’s dolls was so that I wouldn’t have to look in the mirror.

Following Wayne’s advice, I decided not to track the children’s movements as much as possible, but it was difficult to cut off the things I was worried about.

So, I am trying to force myself to do other things and forget about my children for a little while.

Still, it wasn’t completely ineffective. The first two days were very difficult, but now I can control my desire to look in the mirror.

Of course, all of that was possible only if I concentrated on other things like now.

    “Hmm?”

While I was busy farming, two unnatural signs were detected.

Outside of Argen’s rare area. So, two different groups entered the border of the green forest without permission.

    ‘what?’

After the area around Argen’s Lair turned into a green land, except for the beginning of the story, there were no cases like this, so I was more suspicious than angry.

I expanded my body’s senses through faith. Then, the aspects of those who entered the green land felt more detailed and clear.

‘Humans on one side… Elves on the other.’

Either way, I was quickly approaching Arjen’s Lair, where I was. However, perhaps because it was a forest, the speed of the elves was clearly faster.

I thought for a moment about how to respond. It seemed most reasonable to call Wayne and send him to the elf side while I go out to meet the humans.

The most reasonable thing to do would be to summarily dispose of unauthorized access, as I had been warned about in the past, but somehow, I felt like a warning that I should not do that was pounding on my chest.

    ‘Huh… that’s really fast.’

Even though it wasn’t a long thought, the elves had already gotten close. What was surprising was that the humans were approaching at a fast enough speed, although they were still slower than the elves.

    ‘Something must have happened.’

The response method has been decided. If you just wait here, the elves will arrive first, followed by the humans. So, instead of making any moves, I planned to take care of business one by one.

    Fasth!

Not long after, three elves appeared through the grass. Unlike regular elves, I was naturally wary of the unfamiliar appearance of the elves, who were well-armed in leather armor.

    “Who….”

    “Meeting the great Titania.”

Looking at the attitude of those who first bowed, it seemed like they had some business to do with me.

“Okay. If you’re an elf, you probably know that coming here without permission is taboo… What’s going on?”

Despite the subtle pressure that they had to come up with a proper excuse, all the elves remained indifferent.

And with that solemn expression, he made a bombshell statement.

“Someone created an artificial defect in the demonic barrier that Prinia opened.”

    “…What?”

When it comes to the demonic barrier that Prinia has spread, it refers to the ‘sea waterfall’ at the end of the world.

I was dumbfounded to hear that someone had damaged the breathtaking scenery that still fills me with awe.

“As a result, a plant from the Demon World took root in this world, and it was confirmed that the erosion of Demon Energy had occurred in the soil of the continent.”

    “Who on earth….”

“World Tree… No, Prinia herself said that it must have been done by a dragon named Akasha.”

    “Akasha….”

Each word the three elves said was enough to surprise me.

“Then I guess the reason you guys came was to deliver a message from Prinia.”

Then there is no reason for me to punish them. The matter brought is also a matter, and those who served as Prinia’s messengers cannot be held guilty of trespassing on the territory.

In the first place, if I had ascended to heaven even once and gone to see Prinia or Stella, there would have been no need for them to come.

“That’s right. In order to strengthen the barrier once a crack has occurred, it is necessary for Prinia to descend to the lower world in person…”

The elf trails off. I knew very well that it wasn’t easy.

Unlike me, who has a body in the underworld, other gods need a suitable medium and enormous faith to descend to the underworld.

    “What’s the problem?”

“Stella, who most recently descended to the lower world… Her advent requires a ‘saint’ from humans.”

I nodded. I was there from the beginning too. Stella, who descended to the Underworld in Orha’s body, literally played with Akasha and played a dramatic role in escaping my crisis.

“In Prinia’s case, Titania is needed.”

    “What?”

I asked back. I didn’t do it because I couldn’t understand it. The only problem was that the Titania of this era was me.

Since I am also an individual god with my own faith, it is impossible for Titania to descend through my body as a medium.

    “That’s… a big deal.”

“That’s right. So, we would like to hold a Titania succession ceremony. There is a pristine high elf who has just been born. Prinia intends for her to succeed Titania.”

    “It’s a succession ceremony…there is a way.”

It’s simple. If I can’t do something because I’m Titania, I can just quit being Titania. There was nothing to regret since Prinia had appointed him arbitrarily in the first place.

“Okay. Is there anything I can do at the succession ceremony?”

“Yes. We need the World Tree bow that Titania currently owns.”

I immediately took out my bow and handed it to the elf who spoke.

“Here it is. Instead of doing this, I should meet Prinia and talk to her. Hurry up and get back to your work.”

“Yes! I hope you stay safe.”

The elves, who were directly commanded by Prinia, went back the way they came without any signs of fatigue, no matter how long it had been since they arrived, perhaps because of their outstanding specs.

‘Hmm… Just in case, I’ll have to listen to the humans’ side of the business before I go.’

There was no need to rush yet. In any case, restoration of the barrier will not be possible until Prinia descends. The ones who really need to run in a hurry are the elves who just came, not me.

However, the business of the people who came next was enough to make me nervous.

    “Wow… gasp! Eugene…!”

Five humans breathing heavily. He appeared to be as unarmed as possible, perhaps to lighten his body, but it was clear that he ran with all his strength.

“Why did you trespass here? I’m in a really bad mood because I just heard some unpleasant news. If it’s for a trivial reason…”

    ” Eugene’s children… are in a dangerous situation…!”

    “What…!?”

As soon as I heard those words, I ran towards the guy who opened his mouth as if I was flying and grabbed him by the collar.

    “Try again. What?”

I had a lot of questions about how someone who was just a human knew about my children and what danger my children were in.

However, it was impossible for a person who had worked hard to explain the situation clearly, so I eventually exercised my faith.

    Faaah!

A single blink occurred in his hand and the memories of the five humans in front of him were read. These were soldiers from Harpen.

‘Be sure to defeat the necromancer! ‘Make them pay for disrupting Harpen’s order!’

‘This is a report! The necromancer has already been subdued… and the tree of unusual energy…!’

‘The ones who subdued an adventurer party that looked like twins…’

    ‘Ah… Akasha…!’

Necromancer disturbance in Harpen. A large army dispatched to deal with the Immortal Legion. And the creature from the demon world that they saw and its owner, Akasha.

And it was clearly my children, Asha and Adele, who were facing that huge threat. Next, a conversation between those who received the commander’s orders was heard.

‘You must quickly go to Eletrove and report reinforcements.’

‘The most feared dragon is leading the demons to invade… Whether you are Eugene or Arzen, this is an issue that needs to be reported quickly!’

‘Those two adventurers… you said they were dragons, right? From what I heard Akasha say, it sounds like she’s still a hatchling…’

‘But, that guy is an adventurer. He clearly had Eugene’s badge.’

    ‘what? Really? Are you sure?’

‘Are you sure. It was when I was working at the checkpoint. It was very noisy. I can’t believe that the person who used that to guarantee his identity… was a dragon.’

    ‘Wait… a dragon with Eugene’s insignia…? That couldn’t be….’

‘…Oh, that can’t be… That… If that’s true, then the dragons currently dealing with Akasha… are the children of Master Eugene and Master Arjen…?’

As their conversation continued, they skipped the eletrove and ran straight toward me. Even if I tried using Eletrobe, I ended up wasting time by adding a reporting system.

It was a very reasonable decision, and an action that deserves praise.

However, the problem is that the distance from Harpen to here is a distance that would take three days no matter how hard humans try.

Before the brain could make a decision, the body had already become a ray of light and was flying in the sky, fueled by faith.
