Chapter Index

As I returned to the classroom and took the class, my mind was elsewhere.

I couldn’t concentrate on class at all because I was busy observing the movements of Prin and Fran below through the electric field I had spread out.

    “Jeff.”

    Now, Prince moved a little.

He got up from his seat and walked forward. It seemed like he was going to solve a problem on the blackboard.

    “Jeff.”

Unlike Prince, Fran did not move.

Prince’s hand, which has stepped forward, moves quickly to solve the problem.

There was no hesitation in those hands that moved as if no calculations were needed.

    “Jeff~”

The moment someone touches my body and shakes me.

I moved reflexively and grabbed his hand.

Small, cute, soft hands twist slightly, digging between your fingers.

If you twist it like this, this hand will make a terrible noise and the bones will go out of place.

    But that wasn’t the case.

Because this hand was Appleton’s hand.

    “Ah. Appleton?”

Appleton’s eyes opened wide in surprise at my sudden action, but he soon moved his hand and interlocked his fingers with mine.

Appleton and I ended up holding hands.

She looked at me like that and said.

    “Yeah. It’s me.”

    “What’s going on?”

“That’s what I was trying to ask, Jeff. You seem to be having trouble concentrating. Is something bothering you?”

I shook my head and released my hand to Appleton’s question.

    “Ugh. It’s nothing.”

“Why are you so absent-minded about nothing?”

I kept my mouth shut at Appleton’s question.

Appleton nodded and let out a small sigh at my request not to ask any more questions about this matter.

“If you have any worries, please tell me. We’re friends.”

    I nodded to Appleton’s words.

    We were friends.

So this incident is even more unspeakable.

I couldn’t drag my friend into something dangerous.

After class, I was about to head straight to the first-grade classroom on the second floor, but I couldn’t get up from my seat because I had to watch Appleton’s expression.

How do I look to others?

If someone who didn’t know the circumstances saw it, it was clearly me, not Prin, who was suspicious.

It was impossible for him to go down to the second floor during every break and spy on his juniors.

Fortunately, I had a skill called the Current Field, so I was able to observe the movements of Prin and Fran here as well.

The two of them remained seated, seemingly with no intention of getting up from their seats even during break time, so I breathed a sigh of relief.

“Hey Jeff. When are you going to Ferman’s castle? You should tell me the date so I can prepare.”

    “Ah.”

Only then did I nod to Appleton’s words.

I said I would take Appleton to Grandfather Ferman’s castle.

Since the date hadn’t been set yet, Appleton couldn’t give a definitive answer.

Since she doesn’t come from an ordinary family, it would be difficult for her to suddenly take time off.

I took my phone out of my pocket and texted my grandfather.

[Grandpa, when are you going to go play with your friends?]

Normally, I would have gotten a reply right away, but maybe it was because of the time involved.

    There was no reply.

“I’ll let you know when Grandpa replies. Does Appleton have a good time?”

“Yeah. I have time this weekend.”

I nodded to Appleton and started typing again.

[This weekend sounds good. How about Grandpa?]

As expected, there was no reply.

I knew that my grandfather was always pressed for time, but the lack of replies disappointed me.

    “Grandpa hasn’t replied.”

“Aren’t you busy? My dad is slow to reply, too.”

    “Really?”

    I nodded to Appleton’s words.

Her words gave me some comfort.

And at that moment, I jumped up from my seat.

    “Ouch!”

A sudden movement caught in a current field.

Prince and Fran got up from their seats and started moving.

The two of them left the classroom and started walking in opposite directions.

    “Jeff?”

Appleton blinked, as if startled by my sudden rise from my seat.

    How should I explain this?

As I was worrying like that, I started to stamp my feet as Prince moved further and further away.

“Okay, I’ll go call Grandpa for a minute!”

    “Ah. Yeah!”

I winked at Shine and Rain, holding my phone in my hand.

Surely the two quick-witted people would have understood what I meant.

After seeing Shine nod slightly, I immediately left the classroom.

    Suddenly, my solo mission began.

I hurried down the stairs and headed to the second floor.

Prince’s movements were neither slow nor fast.

While checking her movements, I was able to discover another movement that I hadn’t noticed before.

Are there five people walking in front of Prince?

When I reached the hallway, I hid far away and checked the other side.

A group of students were walking, with Prince behind them.

Looking behind them to make sure that Prin was following along, it seemed like they had something to say to each other and were moving to a quiet place.

I thought they were friends, but seeing them walking at a distance, it seemed like they weren’t friends.

They went into an empty classroom and closed the door.

I ran to the empty classroom and leaned against the wall to check the situation inside.

There was no sound, but movement was noticeable.

They cornered Prince and surrounded him.

Hey, is this by any chance…?

Because the classroom didn’t have windows, I couldn’t see what was inside.

I stood close to the door and carefully pushed it open.

Click – a small noise coming from inside.

    The door was locked.

    Oh, what should I do?

If, as I expected, Prin was not an ordinary child, those students were in danger.

But what if Prin was just an ordinary student?

What if my, Shine’s, and Rain’s predictions were wrong?

What if you were just an ordinary student who had been working out hard since childhood?

    Then Prince was in danger.

It means that a cute and pretty junior is in danger.

As I was stamping my feet in place, I could feel other people’s eyes slowly starting to gather around me.

Usually, the second floor was only used by first-year students, so if there was a tall and mature senior like me, the juniors couldn’t help but look at me with respect.

I couldn’t delay any longer than this.

I eventually decided to use my abilities to intervene in this situation.

Dismissal – Electricity gathered at the tip of the finger passes through the door.

A simple lock and such is of no concern to me.

    Click-

The mechanism inside turns and unlocks the door.

I took a deep breath and opened the door.

    Knock knock-

The sliding door slid aside, revealing to me the situation inside.

The first-year students who had pushed Prin to one side looked surprised at my sudden appearance.

    “Oh. Hello, Senior Jeff.”

Only Prinman greeted me with a leisurely expression.

    It’s leisurely. In this situation?

    As expected, it’s suspicious.

Still, I had to be a little strong here.

I crossed my arms with a pretended stern expression.

    “There. You guys.”

There was no answer to my words.

I felt my right eyebrow twitch at their reaction.

    Are they ignoring me now?

As my expression slowly began to distort, the first-year students began to roll their eyes here and there, looking at each other.

Since it seemed like they still hadn’t figured out the situation, I waited patiently for their response.

Soon, a girl who seemed to be the leader of the group stepped forward and spoke.

“Ah, hello, Jeff. It’s an honor to meet you.”

    You know me.

It seemed like Prin’s words about us being famous weren’t exactly false.

So does that mean everyone out there knows my nickname?

I bit my lip hard in the sudden embarrassment.

“Yeah. Hi. What are you guys doing now?”

    “That, that…”

At my words, she stuttered and glanced at Prin, who was standing behind her.

Prince stood there somewhat quietly, with a bright smile on his face.

Now, looking at the situation surrounding Prin, it was clear that these first-year juniors did not bring Prin with good intentions.

    It wasn’t a situation I liked.

As if responding to my emotions, little Amy, who had been hiding in my head, let out a small spark.

Phagejik – The electricity that flows down your back hits the floor.

As if frightened by this phenomenon, the girls shut their eyes tightly and cowered.

“That, that’s why. This Prince here is so arrogant… and his father’s job is just a novelist…”

    “Are you cheeky?”

The girl’s words touched my heart.

I glared at the girl who had called me presumptuous.

When we look at the meaning behind her words, it seems that she now views Prin lower than herself.

I didn’t know about it before, but now that I was here, it was absolutely impossible for anyone to look down on or ignore others while relying on their status at this school.

    “Prin. Come here.”

    “Yes~”

When I called Prince, he smiled brightly as if he had been waiting for me and walked towards me.

The sight of her approaching me with frequent steps was so pretty that I almost smiled without realizing it.

I looked at the girls standing in front of me with Prin behind me.

“Since it’s your first time, I’ll just skip it. It doesn’t matter what your status is outside. But it’s different here.”

    No answer came.

    It didn’t matter though.

I wasn’t really expecting an answer either.

“If you treat Prin like that again, or not just Prin, but your other friends as well, all the strength you have on your back could disappear.”

The girls’ faces turned pale at my words.

It was a little sad to see them flailing around, but from experience, most of the people here listened to me when I was this strong.

Just because you have more power than others doesn’t mean you can ignore them.

Everyone needed a chance to prove their abilities, and those who were capable needed to be treated accordingly.

I remembered my grandfather’s words and left the classroom, holding Prin’s hand.

    “Over there. Senior.”

    “Yeah.”

    “Thank you.”

I stopped dead in my tracks at Prince’s words.

The small hand of the one holding her was wiggling, creating a ticklish feeling.

“You were really so cool. You showed up at the exact right time, as if you were waiting for me, and saved me. You were like a prince from a fairy tale.”

    Wow, a prince?

I shook my head at Prin’s words and released his hand.

    My face felt hot.

As always, Prin smiled brightly at me and linked arms with me.

The distance becomes closer in an instant.

    I didn’t feel any rejection.

“Senior. Can I call you prince when we’re alone?”

Prin, who was leaning gently on my shoulder, looked up at me and asked.

The red eyes sparkle like rubies.

I swallowed dry saliva and shut my mouth.

The heat on my face doesn’t go away and makes me dizzy.

At that moment, the sound of music signaling the start of class echoed through the hallway.

Prince let out a sigh of regret, then uncrossed his arms and walked forward slowly.

    “See you next time.”

Prince waves his hand gently as if saying goodbye.

At her sight, I also raised my hand, flinching, and a small tongue popped out of Prin’s lips and licked my lips.

The smooth movements were strangely erotic.

The slightly curved smile directed at me really made me feel like I was looking at a fox.

Prince, who was getting further and further away, soon disappeared into his own classroom.

Left alone, I turned around, caressing the arm that Prin had touched.

[You appeared at the exact right time, as if you had been waiting…]

Prince’s words linger in my head.

As expected, she was very suspicious.
