Chapter Index

    Exactly 5 months.

This was the time it took the Deltans to fill all 10 seats on the Dimensional Council.

    “It’s over now.”

    Agnes said with a grin.

Deltan nodded and looked fed up.

“I was so sick of it. Really.”

The owner of the first seat, Lennon St. Lauer, was a pharmacist.

The various dimensions I visited afterward were all filled with terrible people.

From an oriental swordsman who smiles and draws his sword as soon as their eyes meet, from giants like the foreign god sleeping in the middle of the universe and the galactic emperor who rules multiple planets, to survivors in the land of zombies who do not know anything about their abilities.

Convincing them one by one couldn’t be said to be easy, even jokingly.

However, if one had to choose the most terrifying dimension for Deltans, it would be one.

“Why on earth are there guys who fight with swords?”

    “It was really fun there.”

    “Fun?”

“Isn’t it fascinating? Wrapping a sword around your dick and swinging it around.”

    “Throwing away.”

The ranking of Deltans’ most horrific life experiences has changed.

It was none other than ‘The World of Knife Fighting with Dicks’ that took first place, dropping the undisputed number one, Runaway Day’s Christmas, to second place.

Whatever he said, Deltan still couldn’t forget the words of the man who occupied the 8th seat.

-There are seven things in our world. They are Holy, Demon, Fire, Ice, Thunder, Earth, and Wind.

It is said that guys with dick attributes fight for supremacy by fighting with dicks with swords.

The one who took the seat was a saint.

“I don’t want to see you again. The bastard who pulls out his dick with a serious face.”

“But we have to meet? And that too for a very long time.”

    “That’s the biggest problem.”

    Deltan sighed.

“That’s it. I shouldn’t think about it for a while.”

Whatever it is, the job of filling the seats is over.

It will begin in earnest eight years later when Aria becomes an adult, but until then, it will be a rest.

    “Let’s go back.”

    “Yes.”

As the Deltan scanned the ground with a compass, a portal opened.

The two crossed the door and returned to the original world.

    “Are you here?”

    Gerhart welcomed.

“At that moment, Aria is also returning home.”

“Okay, prepare a meal for me.”

    Agnes said.

Deltan quickly went up to the shower room.

Today was Aria’s school vacation day.

    *

    “I went!”

Aria, whom I saw for the first time in half a year, was a little taller.

The child who loved pigtails had straight hair, perhaps because her tastes had changed, and was wearing a pink headband that I had no recollection of buying.

    “Aria!”

Deltan smiled widely and spread his arms.

Aria giggled and came over to hug her.

“Did you miss me a lot?”

“Well, I missed you every day.”

“I didn’t really want to see you.”

    Deltan’s body stiffened.

    “It’s a lie.”

“You can’t tell such bad lies.”

“You must have been hurt a lot.”

    Aria laughed mischievously.

It seems like his personality has changed in the half a year I haven’t seen him.

It will be a change as we move out into the wider world.

    I feel a little bitter.

“… Shall we go eat first?”

    “Yes. Who is your mom?”

    “It’s here.”

Agnes changed her clothes and came down the stairs.

    Aria’s complexion brightened noticeably.

    “Mom!”

Deltan felt strangely saddened by the sight of him running away with a bright smile.

Are you saying you’re about to enter puberty?

I remember what the Marquis de Montbert once grumbled.

-My daughter is in puberty. Don’t you get angry when you look at me and say that I smell like a widower? How heartbreaking it was.

Although it was unlikely, Deltan was very afraid of hearing that Aria smelled like a widower.

The decision that came to mind was that I should pay a little more attention to management.

    “Dad, come quickly too!”

Deltan smiled and walked away as Aria waved her hand.

    *

    The meal was happy.

Aria had so much to say that she explained in detail everything that happened from the time she started school to the end of the school holidays.

Stories about new friends I made, stories about the northern part of the continent I went to for practical training, and even stories about studying with friends all night during exam period.

Arya, who told them, was a very good storyteller.

“For now, take a break today.”

Only after Agnes intervened did Aria return to her room.

Less than an hour later, I received news from Aryl that Aria had fallen asleep.

    Such a late evening.

On the terrace of the mansion’s bedroom, where he returned after a long time, Deltan sat across from Agnes and drank a glass of wine.

    “It’s crazy.”

    Agnes said.

“If I had known this would happen, I would have moved a day or two more quickly.”

“It’s too late to regret it now.”

“That’s right, actually, being late doesn’t mean anything.”

“In the end, everything was done. Aria also fell asleep.”

Deltan chuckled and raised his glass.

    Jjaeng-

The wine glasses clinked together, and the two people put wine in their mouths at the same time.

Deltan turned his head outside the terrace, savoring the bitter scent of grapes.

A place where you can see the scenery of the island at a glance.

Now, numerous stars shine above the land where street lights and electricity have been supplied.

Suddenly, an emotional feeling occurred to me.

‘The day has come when I can leisurely watch this.’

The scenery of the system that I always hated, these yellow lights, now I just feel nostalgic.

The chilly night air feels refreshing.

Deltan, who was asking himself why he hated this scene so much in the past, soon came up with an answer.

    ‘I didn’t just hate this.’

Just, back then, I was angry at everything in the world.

I think I was just resentful of the world that had never shown me a kind side, so I started getting angry at everyone.

If I had to be honest, it would have been like a hedgehog sharpening its edge because I didn’t want anyone to see my scars.

    ‘But not anymore.’

When I turned my head again, Agnes was twirling her wine glass and smiling.

My cheeks are a little red as they reflect the light.

The sight of the man resting his chin and lowering his eyes is strangely strange.

In fact, his personality is also quirky.

How funny it is that my perspective on the world has changed because of this woman with a bad personality.

    A giggle escaped Deltan’s mouth.

    “Why are you smiling?”

“Reminds me of the old days.”

    “I’m feeling sentimental today.”

    “I guess it’s because I’m tired.”

    “Hmm.”

    Agnes laughed mischievously.

“Because I think about the old days.”

    “What.”

“In the end, you couldn’t keep your word.”

Deltan looked at Agnes, wondering what she was talking about.

    she said

“Delta Inn, who has never lost in his life. You lost to me.”

Is that what you’re talking about?

I don’t know how many times I’ve said this already, but I’m not even angry anymore.

    “Yes, I lost.”

    “The reaction is not interesting.”

“Because it’s not an angry word.”

Is this the first time this has been said?

Deltan remembered the satisfaction on Agnes’ dazed face.

“I’m not angry that I lost to you.”

There is a woman in the world who can bring herself to her knees.

If I had been a Deltan in the past, I would have felt ashamed of that fact and tried to overcome it.

He must have struggled to the end and tried to reject her.

But now Deltans no longer feel the need to do so.

“On the contrary, I think it is a good thing. The fact that you are at the same eye level as me.”

My skin tingled for no reason as Agnes stared at me with her mouth closed.

Deltan lowered his eyes and looked at the glass.

“… They should have an equal relationship with each other. The couple.”

The word ‘couple’ is still awkward and embarrassing.

Even though we spend every day together, there are still times when my heart flutters when I see her.

I wasn’t the type to say such things in detail, so I stopped talking and Agnes got up from her seat.

“Why are you acting so cute?”

Deltan’s face turned red as he approached and touched his cheek with his hand.

“What are you talking about? I’m just saying this.”

“I don’t think it’s just something you say?”

    Agnes’ mouth drew an arc.

“The sincerity was conveyed very well. Here.”

Agnes took Deltan’s hand and placed it on her chest.

Deltaine could feel her heart pounding, now beating vigorously.

    “How about it?”

    “It works well.”

    “Not like that.”

    “The heartbeat is fast.”

“Yes, you made it like this.”

    Agnes raised the Deltans.

I took a step back and headed toward the bed.

“I didn’t mean to say this.”

“You’re doing this while I already said it. What’s new?”

Agnes, who spoke, giggled and sat down on the bed.

And then he hugged Deltan’s waist and said.

“It’s a peaceful day for a long time.”

    “Is that the reason?”

“Then should we make a second child?”

    “Let’s have just one child.”

    “I wish I had a son too.”

    “I can’t deny it.”

Deltan laid Agnes down, supporting the back of her head.

    Our eyes met.

The eyes, reminiscent of cherry blossoms, shine dreamily even in the dark.

As I looked into those eyes, my lips opened freely and let out a sound.

    “I love you.”

    Agnes’ eyes widened.

Soon it curved nicely and took on a crescent moon shape.

    “I love you too.”

    And their lips overlap.

Suddenly, the lights in the room went off with a sound.

It was a night like any other.

It was a scene from the future that Deltans had longed for.

And it was one of those moments that I will cherish in the future.

This night is like any other today, tomorrow, the next day, and the next day again.

Like the last words of a fairy tale, happily ever after.

    So forever.

That long period of time was the most precious treasure that Deltans acquired during their lives.

How to save a terminally ill heroine

    BONUS: Author’s review

    Hello readers. It’s papapa.

This is the fourth complete one.

I came this far after participating in the 2022 Masterpiece Contest and winning a generous prize.

    I’m so moved.

    I still don’t feel like it’s finished.

First, as always, I would like to thank my readers for sticking with me until the end.

    thank you

Because of you, an unemployed person living in an ugly room got a job as a writer.

I can’t tell you how grateful I am for always supporting those who are less fortunate.

After all, a writer exists only when there are readers.

I will explain it to you.

Now we have to talk about the novel.

I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but ‘How to Save a terminally ill heroine’ was not a novel originally conceived with the assumption that it would be 19+.

Would it be possible to explain it if I said that I wanted to write a more gentle, sad romance?

How did such a story become like this?

It’s nothing big, and as I said before, I like money so much that’s why I turned my attention to the contest prize money.

Even though I was already using two, I started using them because I thought, ‘I’m waving 50 million won in front of my eyes. Do I have to endure this?’

As a result, the character settings changed slightly.

The description of the 19+ version is more extreme, the characters are more screwed up, and the mindset is to cross the line harder.

This novel became a release of all the things I had been holding back while writing a book for all users.

I had so much fun and happiness while writing it.

Have you fainted once? So much so that I can’t stop even when I want to.

I’m really glad if you enjoyed it together, and if not, I have to apologize.

Next time, let’s aim for a more popular material with more popular tastes!

With this in mind, I am working on my next project.

I would be really happy to be with you all then too.

The days when I finish a novel are still gloomy.

I guess I should at least have a beer and go to sleep.

I guess I’ll just have to shorten this post.

We would like to thank all the readers who have been reading ‘How to Save a terminally ill heroine’ so far.

Next time, I’ll greet you again with another novel.

    i love you.

    papapa compensation.
