Chapter Index

Maria, who had lost her player again, approached me in tears.

“My brother, the ring on his hand.”

“Cecilia gave it to me, isn’t it pretty?”

“ㅡI don’t know if there’s something that doesn’t suit my younger brother… . It’s pretty.”

A slight slump in Marianne’s shoulders was enough for Maria to immediately change her tone. Then he quietly approached her and placed the jewelry box in her hand.

The box was made of ground pink pearls, giving it a soft pink and platinum color, and was even studded with pink diamonds, making it an incredibly gorgeous box.

“Is this jewelry box a gift?”

“No? It’s just a case with a little protection magic.”

When Marian took it and tilted her head, Maria said as if it was no big deal.

“Go ahead and open it, I worked hard to prepare.”

    “Yes.”

    Marian narrowed her eyes.

This ship alone seems incredibly expensive.

‘No, what is this? It’s not a big deal, if you touched this without my permission.’

The jewelry box was designed to activate magic step by step in response to his malice if he touched it without her permission.

Power ranging from a light electric shock to enough power to make a human disappear without a trace. It was Maria’s consideration for her younger brother.

‘You should never be pickpocketed, even for the other person’s sake.’

Marian clicked her tongue inwardly, not even thinking about the magic tool she had gifted to Elaine.

Marian wondered whether to close the lid again due to the dazzling light pouring in just by slightly opening the box, but seeing the expectant expressions of not only Maria but also the people around her, she closed her eyes and opened it completely.

    “Wowㅡ.”

    “That, that.”

    “Isn’t it the red sun?”

    “You processed that?!”

Exclamations came from all over the place.

What was inside was a thin bracelet with a red chain and a pure white chain twisted together. However, anyone who could feel magical power could sense how much of a treasure this was.

The treasure crafted by Maria, the best wizard, with the help of Tyran, a dwarf, with the ether, red sun, and two top-class magic stones, was worthy of being considered a national treasure.

Soon all sounds disappeared and only then did Maria open her mouth.

    “Do you feel like it?”

Seeing that bright smile, Marian immediately put a bracelet on her left hand. The bracelet stretched out as if it had found its owner. Just by looking at it, I felt as if my body was invigorated and my mana was refined.

    “Wasn’t this hard to make?”

This wasn’t something that could be made overnight. No matter how good a magician was, it could easily be called a treasure beyond a yearly investment.

“This is a gift for my younger brother. Seeing the reaction, the hard work was worth it.”

“ㅡThank you. sister. I really like it.”

Marian’s fingers swept down the bracelet on my wrist. Although it looked cool to the touch, it was warm and comfortable, so I felt like I could wear it at any time. I hugged Maria, who seemed satisfied with my reaction, and immediately smiled heartily at the reaction of my older sister who hugged me back.

    “It’s our turn next.”

    Ceria and Yuri approached.

Maria slowly let go of Marian with a regretful expression.

Then Ceria hugged Marian and put a necklace around her neck.

    “ㅡThis is.”

“Do you think it will have less impact because it is the second time? It’s similar to what Maria gave me, but a little different. My gift… I made it with the hope that I can protect Marian at any time.”

Ceria took a step back and looked at Marian’s reaction.

    “Thank you.”

Marian immediately recognized the value of the necklace.

How long had she been pouring magical energy into the pure white ether, so that it had a deep blue color like the deep sea, the same as her magical energy.

Next, Yuri handed over the pendant.

    Marian grinned.

    “Yes. Thank you.”

The answer that came back immediately was lighter than before.

After being surprised twice, Yuri’s gift made me feel a little calm, but I didn’t ignore her sincerity.

“ㅡI want to give you something a little special. I did modify my mother’s belongings a little bit.”

However, Marian also widened her eyes at Yuri’s next words.

“Keepsakes… ? You did that to me.”

“Because the princess saved me. No matter what I give, it won’t be great for the princess, but I still wanted to give something that is precious to me. Are you in a bad mood?”

Yuri’s head bowed. ‘It’s an item left behind by a dead person… I can’t help but think that way.’ Marian sighed as she saw Yuri muttering softly.

‘He doesn’t seem to mind, but he’s digging a tunnel by himself again.’

    “I feel pretty good.”

    “ㅡYes?”

    “I like it.”

    “ㅡAh. Thank goodness.”

Marian burst out laughing when she saw Yuri sighing in relief.

“I really like it. It’s simple on the outside, but there’s something about the green emerald in the center. I feel at ease.”

It reminds me of Emilia. I swallowed my words.

    “Are you done now?”

    When Cecilia asked, Marian nodded.

Marian chuckled at the earnest look in her eyes that said she wanted to be alone.

    “I’ll be back.”

Marian turned around without checking the expressions on Maria and Ceria’s faces. Holding my lover’s hand.

Marian went out to the terrace and spun around looking at the moon.

Cecilia drew thick curtains to create a space just for her lovers.

Cecilia smiled with endless admiration at the sight of her lover dancing alone under the moonlight.

Marian laughed, looking so happy that her cheeks turned pink.

“Do you like being alone so much?”

    “So good.”

Cecilia sat Marian down on the terrace railing as she was accustomed to, and then wrapped the coat that was draped over her shoulders.

“It’s warm, so you don’t have to do it.”

Marian lightly stroked the bracelet on her wrist. Even though my shoulders were bare, my body temperature was maintained just by the warmth felt from the bracelet.

Cecilia drooped the corners of her eyes as if she was disappointed in that action.

    “Do you hate my clothes?”

    “No, not like that.”

“Then why don’t you just stay? When Marian smells like me, that alone makes me excited.”

    “ㅡWhat?”

Marian, who had opened her mouth, laughed as if it were absurd. What animal are you? Even though she didn’t say anything, Cecilia understood the meaning just from her expression and grabbed her wrist and placed it on her chest.

    “Look at this.”

When Marianne, who was touching her breasts, tried to slap her hand away, Cecilia pressed her hand deeply to her breast. I turned my head to the pounding heartbeat and muttered softly.

“Do you like me that much?”

“Yes, my world changed from the moment I first met you. You are the first person I truly wanted to have, but you were so precious that I couldn’t bear to touch it. You chose me like that. Every second of every hour with you is so precious.”

Feeling desperate, Marian placed her other hand on Cecilia’s shoulder and looked down at her. I slowly kissed those pretty lips while looking into those unwavering blue eyes. The mouth that speaks such happy words. How many times, how many times.

Eventually, when I open my mouth, a silver solid line appears under the night sky. Marian, with a bright red face, pressed her forehead together as if pressing from above.

“I, too, am happy that you are by my side.”

Cecilia’s eyes opened wide at those words.

Marian cupped her beloved’s cheek with both hands.

    “Can’t you believe it?”

    “No.”

    “I can’t believe it.”

Marian smiled and kissed Cecilia on the mouth once more. It started with a light bird kiss and then a deep kiss as if pressing down from above.

    “Why are you crying?”

Marian opened her mouth and tilted her head.

“It’s not even my birthday, I was planning on making Marian happy, but I feel like I received a present.”

Cecilia pulled Marian’s hand and kissed her beautiful fingers.

    * * *

    The happy party is over.

“I want to be alone today. I have a little something to think about.”

At those words, not only Cecilia but also Maria and Ceria looked tearful.

But Marian already knew perfectly how to deal with them.

I lightly stroked Cecilia’s head and kissed my older sister and Ceria’s cheeks alternately, and when I backed away, they had no choice.

What was unexpected was that my father wasn’t saying anything.

Marian approached Yuri, who looked regretful.

    “Can you do it too?”

“ㅡWell, it’s strange that I’m the only one who doesn’t do it.”

    “I don’t like it?”

    “Oh, no!”

The corner of Yuri’s mouth softened at the soft touch on her cheek.

When Aden, who was dazed as if he had something to think about, approached me, I hugged him tightly and returned to the room.

    “Dad was somehow strange, huh?”

Marian’s eyes opened round as she muttered as she opened the door.

    ‘My magic power?’

And such a huge amount, Emilia?

“Congratulations on your coming of age, young lady.”

Even though Emilia was there, Marian was as frozen as stone and unable to say a word.

I just looked at the bed in confusion.

Only after some time had passed was I able to open my mouth.

    “ㅡThis?”

    Unconscious tears fell.

In the center of the large bed, what lay there was trapped in pink ice created by herself and Emilia’s magic.

    “Momㅡ?”

My mother, Laria Arjane, was asleep inside.
