by admin“Huh~”
I was lying face down on the bed, humming a tune.
The worries that had filled my head had long since disappeared.
Shine said, “Don’t have any headaches.”
I followed her words and pushed my complicated worries deep into my mind.
“Rain. When are you going to wake up?”
I muttered, poking Rain’s cheek.
I need to take the medicine that Rabin gave me, so I hope I wake up soon.
Lane didn’t seem to have any intention of getting up.
I looked all over Rain’s body.
The heat on his forehead had long since subsided.
My neck and hands were also returning to normal body temperature.
“Rain~”
I hung on to Rain’s arm and slowly rocked Rain’s body.
Could it be because my wind reached her?
Rain’s eyes began to move slowly.
Blue eyes appeared between blinking eyelids.
Rain’s gaze floats through the air.
I got close to Rain’s face and looked down at her.
Blink blink- Rain, who is looking at me, blinks his eyes.
I looked at her and smiled.
The girl reflected in Rain’s eyes smiles brightly.
“Jeff?”
“Yeah. Jeff.”
It seemed like Lane wasn’t fully awake yet.
Rain’s small hand came up gently and caressed my cheek.
Rain smiled slightly as he closed his eyes slightly at the gentle touch.
“Wake up. You need to take your medicine.”
I grabbed Rain’s hand, which was caressing my cheek, and helped her up.
Rain got up with a start and rubbed his eyes.
She sat up in bed, yawning heavily.
I tidied up Lane’s hair and handed him the medicine that was on the table.
“About?”
“Yeah. Rabin told me to give it to him.”
Rain nodded at my explanation and took a big gulp of the small pill.
“You’re not in pain anymore, are you?”
“Yeah…”
Lane answers my question.
Her gaze swept across the empty hospital room.
I answered while looking at the sight.
“Amy went to Shine, Lavigne must have needed to go to the bathroom.”
Lane’s gaze, which had been moving slowly, becomes faster and faster.
It seemed as if her mind was completely awake.
After confirming that Rain had recovered, I jumped out of bed.
“Should I go back now?”
I held out my hand to Lane and said.
She had been sitting there blankly, then looked down at the hand I held out to her and reached out her hand in surprise.
Her hands were shaking slightly.
“Over there…”
“Huh?”
“Will you keep holding my hand?”
I looked down at my hands at Rain’s words.
A hand holding Rain’s hand tightly.
The hand that was holding Rain back as he got out of bed still hadn’t let go.
so?
He tilted his head and asked Lane.
“Why?”
“No…”
“Rain, doesn’t he like it when I hold his hand?”
“No. No! That’s not it.”
For some reason, I can’t help but laugh at Rain’s amusing reaction.
I let out a faint laugh and held Rain’s hand tighter.
“You often hold hands even in normal times.”
“That’s true, but…”
Rain bowed his head to my words and answered in a small voice.
I thought as I looked at Rain.
I wonder if he still has a fever?
I was worried because he looked completely different from usual.
“Rain. Are you still sick?”
As I approached and asked, Rain started to move back in surprise.
The hand that Rain was holding slowly slips away.
Feeling the warmth escaping from my hand, I unconsciously reach out and dig my hand between Rain’s fingers.
Fingers interlock and clasp each other’s hands.
A hand that is now held so tightly that it cannot be let go.
Rain gaped at the sight.
“Why are you so surprised?”
It wasn’t like his usual self.
I grabbed Lane’s arm and pulled him towards me.
Rain’s small body was trembling subtly.
I raised my other hand and pushed Lane’s bangs to the side.
Then, Rain’s face is revealed.
Her face was slightly heated.
Cheeks starting to turn pink.
At that sight, he slowly lowered the hand that was fixing his hair and touched Rain’s cheek.
As expected, Rain’s fever had not yet gone down.
I felt a subtle heat behind the soft feel of her cheeks.
“Of course, you still have a fever.”
“No! I took the medicine. I’ll be fine!”
Rain shook his head in response to my words.
“Really?”
“Yeah!”
“Then. Can I go back to my room like this?”
“Yeah!”
Lane nods vigorously in response to my question.
But still, the worries did not go away.
“This won’t work, Rain. We have to sleep together today.”
“Are you… together?”
“Yeah. How sad it would be if there was no one by your side when you were sick.”
Rain muttered at my words.
Her face was growing hotter and hotter.
I took Rain’s arm, who was standing there blankly, and walked out of the hospital room.
“We’re all sleeping together today.”
Rain followed me without saying anything.
I walked down the long hallway, holding her hand tightly.
The sight of the empty hallway gave me goosebumps for some reason.
Lane didn’t say anything until Amy, me, and Shine reached their room.
“Arrived!”
As I opened the tightly closed door and went in, Shine’s figure came into view.
She was sitting in the middle of the room, puffing out her cheeks.
A look full of spite.
It was an expression that was not like Shine.
“Jeff!”
As soon as she spotted me, she jumped up from her seat.
I waved at the sight.
“Shine. I’m back.”
“Do you know how long I’ve been waiting?”
Shine approached me with stomping steps, as if expressing her anger.
The dinosaur tail attached to her butt swayed in all directions as she walked.
Shine Dinosaur was very angry.
“Sorry. I said Rain is sick.”
“Rain?”
At my words, Shine’s gaze turns to the back.
Rain, who caught Shine’s gaze, waved his hand with an awkward laugh.
“Rain. Where does it hurt?”
Shine’s expression changed in an instant.
Shine approached Rain with an expression full of worry.
She grabbed both of Lane’s hands and pulled her towards her.
“I think I have a cold.”
Shine looked around Rain’s body at my words.
As Shine’s small hands groped Rain’s body, Rain flinched and stepped back.
“You’re really hot.”
Shine nodded and said.
“Yeah. That’s why I brought Rain to sleep with me.”
“Together…?”
Shine asked back at my words with a puzzled expression.
I nodded, looking at her face.
“Yeah.”
Silence falls for a moment.
Shine’s gaze quickly scanned me and Rain.
“Over there… As expected. I’m going to my room…”
Was the silence uncomfortable?
Lane stepped back and muttered quietly.
At those words, I hurriedly reached out and grabbed Rain’s hand.
“No!”
I signaled to Shine with my eyes.
Come on, help me quickly.
Shine hesitated for a moment, realizing my intentions, then reached out and grabbed Rain’s empty hand like I did.
Now Rain can’t run away.
Rain’s gaze, held by both arms, shakes uneasily.
Shine and I grabbed Rain and started dragging him deeper into the room.
Slurp, slurp, slurp, Rain’s body slid down.
“Where did Amy go?”
I looked around the room and asked Shine.
First, Amy, who was supposed to go to Shine, was nowhere to be seen.
“I went out for a bit because I had something to do. I told you to go to sleep first.”
“Really?”
I sat Rain down on the bed and headed for the drawer.
“Rain is sick, don’t move.”
“That’s right. Don’t move.”
“Ugh…”
Rain nodded in response to Shine and me.
Rain sat quietly on the bed as we said.
Arriving at the drawer, I began to rummage through the compartment containing my clothes.
“What are you looking for?”
“Pajamas.”
Shine approached me as if she was puzzled by my actions.
I answered her question and took out my pajamas.
“Okay.”
It wasn’t as good as the dinosaur pajamas, but it was still a cherished piece of clothing.
But if it’s Rain, I can lend you as much as you want.
The clothes that were taken out were white pajamas with pink polka dots on them.
“Why is that?”
“Rain isn’t in pajamas. So I’ll lend you my clothes.”
I answered Shine’s question and hugged my pajamas to my chest.
The moment I turned my body to face Rain, Shine’s hand grabbed my shoulder.
“Shine?”
“I will lend it to you.”
“Shine?”
“Yeah.”
“Why? Mine is fine too.”
“I want to lend it to you.”
Shine’s gaze looking at me slowly shakes.
I stared blankly into her eyes and nodded.
“Yeah… They’re both wearing the same clothes anyway.”
I muttered blankly and put my pajamas in the drawer.
It was clear that Shine liked Rain as much as I did.
Shine let out a small sigh and took out her pajamas.
It was a pair of pajamas that were no different from the ones I had taken out a little while ago.
Shine approached Lane, holding her pajamas in her arms.
I smiled slightly as I looked at the two of them.
By the way, Amy is said to be late.
I looked around, flicking my tongue.
Amy is a freak when I hide snacks for her.
The number of chocolates confiscated by Amy was countless.
But that’s okay.
Because there was a secret place that even Amy didn’t know about.
I started climbing up onto the roof towards the toy house.
“Jeff?”
Shine’s voice is heard from behind.
This is a place that even Shine doesn’t know about.
The days of waking up early in the morning and hiding chocolate here little by little without anyone knowing pass by vaguely.
There was a small space on the roof of the toy house where the flag was placed.
It was a secret space that I discovered by chance while playing with dolls.
I gently turned the flag on the roof and pushed it aside.
“Hehehe…”
The space revealed when the flag is pushed away.
There were still chocolates and candies I had hidden there.
I smiled and took out a handful of chocolate.
“That’s…”
I hung on the roof and waved to Shine.
Do you see the chocolate in my hand?
All the snacks that Amy stole were just an illusion.
I’ve gathered the best of the best here for just such a time as this.
I took out all the chocolates inside the roof and lifted them up with both arms.
It wasn’t enough for three people to eat to their heart’s content, but it was the right amount to appease the boredom of the night.
I jumped off the roof with chocolate and candy in my arms.
But the dinosaur’s long tail was a problem.
It was nice to jump down with such force, but the long tail got caught on the edge of the roof and threw off the body posture.
“Ouch!”
The body begins to tilt slightly.
My body, trained to the point of exhaustion by Rain and Victor, immediately tried to fall.
That was the problem.
I landed safely on the ground, but the arm holding the candy gave out.
Phew!
The moment I landed on the ground, the candy and chocolate I was holding in my hands exploded and scattered in all directions.
