Chapter Index

    “Rain! Get up quickly!”

There was no time to sit around like this.

The distance between Chuchu’s back, who was holding Rain’s bag in his mouth, has now become so great that it is impossible to see him.

Chuchu was just seen disappearing around the corner of the hallway.

Even though it was a big guy, it was really fast.

    “My bag!”

Rain’s hands were still shaking as if he was in shock.

He lifted up Rain, who was sitting on the floor, and gently shook her butt.

The hallway was clean and tidy, so there wasn’t any dust.

“I have to go find it.”

As I spoke calmly, Rain nodded.

“That’s right. I have to find it!”

Knock knock- Rain’s small feet tapped the hallway.

She quickly got into a running stance and then leapt forward.

I, too, was surprised by Rain’s sudden agility and quickly ran after her.

Tadadada- The small footsteps of Shine following behind me and the footsteps of Rain and me mixed throughout the hallway.

As I turned the corner where Chuchu had disappeared, I found a worker cleaning the place.

She was a pretty, tall, slender woman.

I ran to her and asked about Chuchu’s whereabouts.

    “Hello! Have you seen Chuchu?”

“Choochoo? I just passed by there.”

The female employee answered my question calmly and bowed her head.

I answered him with an awkward smile.

    “Thank you!”

The group stopped for a moment, and I ran to Shine and Rain and pointed with my hand in the direction where Chuchu had disappeared.

    “Over there!”

    “Run!”

The hallway split into two paths.

Because it is so large, it is difficult to tell where something is connected to where.

We just ran as the employee told us.

Whoosh whoosh – the surrounding scenes quickly pass by.

I didn’t have any hidden pain because I had been training hard.

    Quick-moving legs and hard-working hands.

The eyes moved quickly to find Chuchu who might be hiding nearby.

    “There it is!”

Chuchu was sitting quietly at the end of the road.

He sat with his belly on the ground, his chin resting on his hand, and gently pressed the chick bag in front of him with his forelegs.

Beep-beep- Rain screamed at the sound of the chick bag screaming from afar.

    “Aaak! Chuchu!”

Chuchu made a deflating sound as if he was laughing at Rain’s reaction.

I ran straight towards Chuchu, but when we were halfway down the hallway, Chuchu suddenly jumped up from his seat and started running again.

It was a lot. With our short legs, no matter how hard we ran, we couldn’t catch Chuchu.

After running for a while, I felt myself starting to run out of breath.

Heh heh- He stuck his tongue out and looked around, taking in a lot of cold air.

Rain and Shine looked fine, as if they could still run.

If I had known this would happen, I would have worked out harder.

The problem seemed to be that he secretly skipped training under the pretext of playing a quiz with Rain.

    “Jeff.”

    “Yeah.”

“Are you having a hard time?”

Talking while running makes it harder.

    I nodded, panting.

Shine spoke to Lane with a straight face.

    “Rain.”

    “Yeah!”

    “Why are we running?”

    “Why! To find my bag!”

Tadadadadot – The sound of small footsteps repeats rapidly.

    We turned the corner again.

On a sharply curved road, Chuchu was sitting in the middle of the road.

Rain got really angry at the sight of the guy sitting there as if he was waiting for us to come.

“This guy! If I catch him, I’ll be in trouble!”

    Chuchu laughed again.

    “Just use your abilities.”

As I was about to run forward, I had no choice but to stop moving at Shine’s words.

    Yes, we were capable people.

It was clear that using one’s ability would increase the chances of catching Chuchu rather than running at it like this.

But even using the ability was problematic.

My ability is an electric ability.

When you use your ability, electricity is inevitably released into the surroundings.

The lightning-type ability has a negative effect on the machines in the surrounding area.

This means that if it is a regular piece of equipment that has not gone through a special manufacturing process, it could break down in an instant.

“Shine. We’re having a hard time.”

“Not us. We’re using Rain’s abilities.”

    “Ouch!”

Rain nodded as if he had realized something greatly from Shine’s words.

She stopped in her tracks and immediately stretched out her hand.

Both arms raised in a flash.

Her dainty hands began to wiggle and gather all the water around her.

    bruise!

At Rain’s suspicious appearance, Chuchu, who had been sitting quietly waiting for us, suddenly got up and started barking.

    Woof woof!

“Hey, wait a minute! This lane will be gone soon!”

Swaaaak-! The water quickly began to gather, wrapping itself around us and forming a round sphere.

This was the hamster ball that Rain had shown me before.

    “Hamster Ball!”

    “No!”

It seemed like the technique had a separate name.

    “This is a rain ball!”

As he spoke, Rain poked the round sphere of water with his hand.

At her gesture, the spherical curtain stretched forward.

“Isn’t that great? You can run around as much as you want because it absorbs all the shock from the surroundings.”

It was a very cool looking ability.

But Rain’s abilities didn’t end there.

    She stamped her feet hard.

Bam! There was a splashing sound and water began to gather at her feet.

    A giant whirlpool of water.

The water that had rushed in to fill the hallway lifted the rain ball that surrounded us.

    “Let’s go!”

    Rain shouted loudly.

Like a captain of a ship sailing the sea.

The rain ball carrying us began to advance without hesitation.

Run along the water in a straight corridor.

    Who would have imagined?

    It was so exciting.

I hung on Rain’s back and burst out laughing.

    “Run!”

The purpose of finding Rain’s bag that was in Chuchu’s mouth disappeared from my mind.

I’m starting to enjoy this situation itself.

The surrounding scenery passing by at a faster speed than running.

When I was running using my ability, I couldn’t really see the scenery around me.

It’s not that the visual acuity itself increases.

The speed at which Rain was running right now was just right.

    bruise!

Chuchu saw us running towards him and flinched greatly in embarrassment.

At that sight, Rain smiled triumphantly.

The distance is decreasing faster than before.

It seemed that in just a few seconds, a giant dog named Chuchu would be caught in Rain’s hands.

    but.

Chuchu suddenly turned around and started running.

    A speed incomparable to before.

Quick-moving legs and fast-fluttering hair all over the body.

The distance did not decrease, but rather began to grow further away.

    “Ouch! Chuchu!”

As the distance between her and Chuchu grew longer, Rain cried out in regret.

She pulled up her abilities more strongly.

Bang! A huge wave crashed down, crashing down on me as I stomped my feet.

Whoaah! All the decorations surrounding it were swept away by the waves.

The candle holder, which was full of an old-fashioned feeling, broke and was sucked into the water.

    “Gasp.”

But Rain didn’t seem to notice and just increased his power even more.

A strong wave pushed us forward.

The rain ball rippled loudly and moved forward faster.

Udadadadada – Chuchu’s speed, which was running quickly, continued to increase.

    Is that really a dog?

“Rain. Are all dogs that fast?”

Shine seemed to be thinking the same thing as me and asked Rain with a puzzled expression.

Lane shook his head and answered.

“No! Chuchu is not an ordinary dog! He has abilities too!”

    “A dog?”

“Anyway! In the old days, it was only used when eating!”

It was the first time I ever heard that dogs had powers.

But in the first place, could a non-human creature have abilities?

I began to search through my vague memories.

Boom! The windows in the hallway began to break due to the aftershock of the rough waves.

The higher the speed, the stronger the water pressure.

The hallways and surrounding rooms were scorched by the waves that spread out in all directions.

I fiddled with the bear paw button in my pocket.

Now, it didn’t seem like Rain would be easily stopped by words.

Chuchu, who had been running fast, started to slow down as if he was tired.

The ears that were fluttering in the wind suddenly turn around.

Chuchu looked back and opened his mouth in surprise.

    Pfft!

The speed suddenly increased with a loud roar.

The distance between them suddenly became closer, and Chuchu flinched in surprise at the sight.

Chuchu’s speed had already slowed down compared to the waves.

The wave crashes down on Chuchu! At that moment, Chuchu jumps into Rain’s rain ball.

Lane looked startled at the sight and spread his hands forward.

A hole appeared in front of the rain ball that was surrounding us, and Chuchu came right in.

    Shhh!

Perhaps because Rain had lost control, the waves that had been blowing us forward began to lose strength and disperse to the surrounding areas.

    “Got it!”

    bruise!

Rain grabbed Chuchu with all his might.

It looked like the figure was hanging on Chuchu.

Chuchu licked Rain’s face as if he was happy to see her.

There was no sign of Rain’s bag or anything like that in his mouth.

    “Rain. Where is your bag?”

    “Huh?”

Once Chuchu entered the rain ball, no one could leave without her permission.

But the problem was that the bag was not visible inside the rain ball.

Where did Rain’s bag that Chuchu was holding go?

The answer could be found later.

A corridor in disarray due to rough waves.

Shattered windows and broken doors everywhere.

A small chick bag strewn with decorations that adorned the hallway.

The chick’s stomach was swollen and plump, as if it had been filled with water.

    “My bag!”

    Rain ran forward screaming.

Her movements caused the rain ball to roll around, rolling us all along.

    “Eww!”

    I screamed and hugged Shine.

The world is spinning round and round.

Chuchu also spun around with us.

Reign, who arrived in front of the bag, released his ability.

Whoosh- We heard a small splash and the rain ball surrounding us disappeared.

    “Found it!”

    Rain got the bag.

She lifted her sagging bag and smiled triumphantly.

Chuchu walked up next to her and licked her face wildly.

When Rain and Chuchu started to fight, I gently grabbed Shine’s hand and started to slowly back away.

    “Jeff?”

“Shh. Shine. If they find out, you’re going to get in big trouble.”

I walked slowly and carefully, careful not to make any noise.

But it seems Chuchu’s ears couldn’t be fooled.

Chuchu’s large ears flapped and his gaze turned towards us.

To be honest, I couldn’t see Chuchu’s eyes because of the fur covering his face.

    bruise!

Chuchu ran towards us and started imitating my movements.

Chuchu walked beside me quietly, quietly and quietly.

    “Gasp.”

Rain’s gaze began to turn towards us.

I took a deep breath and looked at her.

“I want to do it too!”

Rain ran towards us without giving much thought to what I was doing.

It just seemed like what we were doing was fun.

So we quietly, quietly, and without making a sound left the scene of the accident.
