Chapter Index

Once the plan for reclamation of the green land was fully established, time flew by and a week passed by. If it weren’t for the cute guys who kept trying to suck out energy in the middle, I could have finished it a little faster, but this kind of delay was expected.

The problem is that it was just my idea. As I was walking through the forest with Arjen to clear the land myself, I encountered a group of humans. The reason I did not necessarily point out their characteristics and simply referred to them as a group of humans was because their number was considerable.

‘At first glance, it looks like there are about 30 people… are they sane?’

No matter how densely the forest has been regenerated, this land has been a place where violas have been running rampant for hundreds of years. From the humans’ point of view, it means that it is an area under the jurisdiction of a crazy dragon who will die if they approach it. What kind of dissatisfaction are these people with their lives that made them take such a step?

“Who are you! Reveal your identity!”

The man standing in the lead pulled out a sword from his waist and shouted. No, I don’t know why they are intercepting what I have to say.

    “Ha….”

I’m already sighing as I think about the scene of conflict that will follow. I spoke urgently because I had something to say first before answering that question.

    “You must not kill.”

    “Oh, it’s a little late.”

The man who drew the sword looked puzzled as I heard the conversation between Arjen and I. It’s like, ‘What? ‘What are you talking about?’ It was a face that wanted to shout.

    Hiss… New baby…..

    “Big…!”

Neck cut half horizontally. Perhaps because he had delved deep into his airways, only the sound of wind being knocked out of the man’s mouth could be heard instead of a voice. The man must have realized too late that his neck was about to say goodbye to his body, so he put down the knife and sat down, his face turning blue. No, should I say I collapsed?

    “These guys!”

As the man in the lead collapsed bleeding, the remaining members quickly drew their weapons. Just by looking at their smooth movements, we could tell that they were personnel who had received regular training. In this case, they were more likely to be regular soldiers of a country rather than adventurers.

“We are the soldiers of the Kichera Kingdom, carrying on the legitimacy of Berfia! You don’t know how big of a problem your actions could cause diplomatically, right?”

Among them, a person who seemed to have a certain status shouted loudly. I don’t know why he said so much with his sword drawn, but one thing is certain: his speaking style was quite disgusting.

For the Kiche, talking about the legitimacy of Berpia in front of the Kicheraj was no different from claiming the legitimacy of their own occupation of this land. If the nation of Verfia still existed and the Eletrov lord’s family was still alive, I might have willingly handed over the land.

However, I couldn’t help but be shocked to hear that people who were actually completely unrelated were gathering in a huddle, even armed.

“What kind of country is Kichera stuck to?”

“Sorry, I don’t know. I haven’t been paying attention to what’s going on in the world lately…”

In fact, Arjen probably didn’t have time to look around because he was busy carrying out destructive activities. The man who appeared to be the commander blushed and shouted, probably taking our conversation as an insult.

    “Profit! Capture them!”

“You are the ones who got caught.”

There is no need for Arjen to step forward. When I raised my hand up, Sirocco came out and created a wind that lifted them all into the air.

    “Ugh, wow!”

A human can fall from a height of 1m. There is mana in this world, and they are also regular troops, so after raising them to a height of roughly 6 to 7 meters and calling in Sirocco, there was no one left in good shape.

“That person will die if left alone? I think I need treatment.”

It is true that he pulled out a knife and threatened him first, but his back is too vicious to let him die just for that reason. Arjen, who accepted my opinion, grunted and neatly put the man’s head that he had torn off.

    “Huh…!”

When we turned the whole thing upside down, it seemed as if they didn’t even have the strength to dare to rebel. Well, even if it were me, I wouldn’t have time to think about anything else when faced with people who suddenly lift people up, then drop them, and then reattach half-cut branches.

    “Who are you?”

I guess it’s common everywhere that you have to taste the sting to be polite, but my tone of voice became polite. Without thinking, I held out the Venus ring and showed it to her.

    “……?”

But somehow the response I got wasn’t what I expected. I thought I would be startled and understand the situation just by looking at this ring, but the man in front of me looked like he had no idea what was going on.

“Ring of the Stella Church…? Are you a priest?”

    “Umm….”

Listening to what he said, it doesn’t seem like the reputation of the church has declined, but it was disappointing that he didn’t know what the ring meant. On the one hand, it was understandable, but I thought that people other than believers who were familiar with the internal affairs of the church might not know that this ring was given only to adults.

It’s just a ring with the church’s symbol on it, so it’s just that he must be a person related to the church. Originally, the main use of this ring was to put it on the finger of a dead person and burn it with the body, so it was natural that outsiders did not know about it.

“Ha… The explanation will be complicated for no reason.”

Prinia and Stella said that through an oracle, the church would grant me the right to manage the Green Land. But even if you don’t know that I’m a saint, why would someone from a church be here? The response was that it seemed like the church had not yet taken action.

    Skin!

As I was contemplating for a moment how to explain, I heard the sound of something thin flying through the air. I had heard this so many times that I knew right away what it was, and it was none other than an arrow.

Of course, the moment you hear the sound, it is too late to avoid it. Although the arrow does not fly faster than the speed of sound like a bullet, it is still a timing that cannot be avoided with human reflexes. Fortunately, Arjen reacted much faster than the speed of sound and caught the arrow that flew at me with his hand.

And no matter how much I did, I couldn’t stop it.

    “This…!”

Arjen’s eyes were very scary as he stared at the flying arrow as if he could turn it into powder with just his gaze. No one here will know what the arrow that was clearly aimed at me means to her. Perhaps it would cause more anger than the arrow fired at oneself? There is no problem if a cannon rather than an arrow flies at her, but if I am hit by an arrow without preparation, I will die.

    “Fuck you guys!”

Arjen cursed thickly and returned the arrow in the direction it had come from. However, the return method was quite wild, and it flew at a much faster speed than an arrow that was tensioned by a bow. The arrow made of wood made a completely unsuitable explosion sound and shook the surroundings.

    “Quaaah!”

Sure enough, the screams of several people hit my eardrums. Another force emerged from an ambush out of nowhere. They shot arrows just in case, but sometimes they missed. They were humans, not elves. The Kichera soldiers, who had already become polite by being indoctrinated in etiquette, gritted their teeth and shouted as if they could guess the other person’s origin by looking at their clothes.

“What are these Guzaks doing here?”

“Oh my… I was targeting the fishermen during the dispute with the Kichera guys, and it was a ridiculous monster.”

The man wearing leather light armor looked at Arjen with a bored expression, then shook his shoulders as if it didn’t matter.

“Well, it doesn’t matter since quite a few monsters came to our side as well.”

“What…? Could this be an undefeated knight!?”

Arjen and I didn’t know anything, but we got really angry and started talking. I wasn’t very happy with the two groups trespassing on my land and making me a duck egg from the Nakdong River.

‘I forgot, maybe because I got burned by the elves so much when I came here, but I’m not going anywhere.’

As I was cursing under my breath, a large figure appeared behind the man. Armed with red plate armor, he had a stereotypical appearance, as if anyone could see that he was advertising himself as a knight.

“Yes! He is said to be the closest to a hero at the moment and is one of the leading sword masters on the continent!”

Sword master, a familiar yet affectionate word popped out. A low-pitched voice came out from the mouth of a man wearing a helmet.

“You counterattack the arrow I shot like that… What is your identity, girl?”

I turned my head and closed my eyes at the actions of the brave knight who fearlessly approached Arjen and admitted that he was the culprit. This is because I felt like it would be traumatizing to see the horrors that would follow.

    Sigh!

    “Ugh, wow!”

Sure enough, something full of water, like fruit, burst and fluttered, and the fishy scent of blood tickled my nose. When I gently opened my eyes, I saw that everyone around me was covered in blood, and on Arjen’s hand, there was something sticky, black and yellow sticking out from between the finely crumpled plate armor.

    “Keuhm.”

I cleared my throat to freshen up my immediate surroundings and at the same time composed myself. Arjen noticed me and tried not to kill people as much as possible, but since he openly threatened my life like that, I couldn’t help but turn him into ‘dough’.

In any case, thanks to Arjen’s performance, which I had not noticed in the end, a good stage was prepared to persuade the uninvited guests.
