Chapter Index

Looking back, there were plenty of hints.

Even though I intruded in the middle of the story, no one showed any discomfort.

    A human-like monster.

    Yuju Taylor.

What is that antenna on the child’s head? Where did it suddenly appear from, and is it really our ally? No one raised any doubts.

The same standard applied to me as well.

No one, not even the students or anyone in Eckhart, had a person with a tail.

-That sister originally had a tail, would she be upset if I said that?

I had set it up to be recognized as a “person originally with a tail.”

    -“Mom monster! It’s a monster!”

The kid had seen it accurately.

    I am not the protagonist.

I was the “human-like monster” who intruded into the story.

There are many things I need to ask Lager.

No, should I ask Reina? By the way, where did Reina go?

    Anyway.

The first thing to do was decided.

“I don’t have time for this. If you behave and leave quietly, I’ll spare your life.”

“I still don’t understand the situation, just because you sprouted wings…”

    Thud.

The head of the guy who got hit by my fist fell off like a dropped watermelon, splattering red chunks everywhere.

As the guy staggered with his head missing, and looked at the black substance oozing from his severed right arm, I apologized with a bewildered expression.

“Oops. I didn’t know one punch would shatter your head.”

After kicking down the guy with only his body left, I approached Dakota, who was in the most critical condition.

Dakota, sitting down with a pierced stomach and bleeding profusely, was collapsing, with his eyes almost losing focus.

No one taught me, but instinctively, I knew what to do.

Just like how monsters instinctively attack humans and use their weapons without asking anyone.

I simply detached the fifth finger of the oozing black right hand and put it in Dakota’s mouth.

“Think of it as a snack.”

I don’t know if it will taste good.

The wound on Dakota’s abdomen quickly healed.

Next was Yuju. Shaking and curling up due to the shock of losing both arms and the effects of excessive bleeding, I approached her, grabbed her face, and turned it towards me.

    “Yuju. Yuju Taylor. Hey, hey.”

“Ouch, ah, me, uh, ah, it hurts, me, ah, it hurts, uh, extreme, black, don’t want to die…”

    “Hey, wake up, Yuju!”

Yuju, who heard the commotion, suddenly regained consciousness, regained focus in her eyes, and looked at me.

I put my finger in her open mouth and gestured for her to exercise by moving her left hand. I sighed as I looked at the dazed Yuju.

    Next was Lager.

It might feel a bit annoying, but he only got a big cut on his shoulder, so it won’t be life-threatening.

“Hold on a little longer. I’ll be back soon.”

I pretended to treat him with those words.

At that moment, with a sticky sound, the guy rose from behind.

Around the burst head, veins and flesh were wriggling, preparing to regenerate.

With a thud sound, he twisted his body a few times and then, from under his armpit, he pulled out a new arm.

A gleam flashed once in the newly grown hand, and eventually, another knife was gripped in his hand.

“Do you keep coming back to life with a knife every time you die?”

No matter how many times I kill you, you only get stronger and don’t die.

    In that case.

    “Kill me until I die.”

I raised my black right thumb and index finger as if aiming a gun, pointing at the guy.

Soon, a strange black or purple flame condensed in front of my fingers.

    “Bang.”

    Boom!!

With a loud noise, the mana cannon was fired.

The guy crouched and quickly rushed towards me. I extended three fingers… no, five fingers straight out.

Then, a countless number of missile-like flashes poured down like rain, covering the guy.

    Bang! Bang! Bang!

The guy was fast. Not only did his arms extend and his cutting power improve, but his reaction speed and agility also seemed to increase.

He gradually closed the distance with a movement almost as terrifying as dodging bullets with his eyes.

And just as he tried to attack my right arm again with his sword.

I fluttered my wings once and flew back slightly. As he saw me retreating, three swords emitted a fierce light.

Avoiding the dangerous trajectories in the air one by one, I simultaneously threw myself at the guy. With a shoulder strike, I collided with him as he tried to stab my back with his three arms.

    “Hey. Your side is exposed.”

    Boom!

I struck his left side with my right hand, causing his body to jerk. Seeing him spit out blood, it seemed like his internal organs were damaged in one blow.

Quickly flying behind him, I grabbed his shoulder with my left hand.

With my right hand, I grabbed his lower arm under the armpit on the side and pulled it out with a squelch, ripping it off.

    “Aaargh!”

Still feeling the pain, the guy screamed.

Fortunately, it was worth tormenting him.

I grabbed his remaining right arm and pulled it out. Each time I pulled it out, muscles and veins came out like tree roots, which was quite grotesque.

After pulling out his last arm on the left, I tripped his legs and climbed on top of him.

In an instant, as his three arms were pulled out, his joints stretched, tendons snapped, and muscles and bones were crushed and scattered in excruciating pain, the guy trembled and couldn’t continue speaking.

But even then, he kept his eyes fixed on me with a fierce gaze.

    “…You shouldn’t hold back.”

I thought I should cut off his legs too.

I formed my right hand into a gun shape and fired a mana bullet towards the bone where the thigh starts on the left side of his pelvis.

    Thud!

With an unpleasant sound, the leg bone was crushed, and the guy’s left thigh was torn off gruesomely.

    “Ugh…! You, you bastard!”

    “Oh, you’re spirited.”

    I won’t kill him.

After making him feel the overwhelming difference in strength, I’ll cut off his arms and legs so he can’t regenerate and reappear.

If he comes back with four swords again, it’ll be another pain.

Even with three swords, he was agile and strong, so there’s no need to make things difficult.

    Thud!

    Crack!

    “Aaargh!”

With his limbs, or rather his legs, lost, the guy, with bulging eyes, couldn’t overcome the incoming pain and twisted his body in agony, screaming.

“Aaargh! I will definitely survive. I will kill everyone in this world that you tried so hard to protect. Just like me, I will tear each limb apart and kill them, then display them in front of your eyes. Aaargh!”

    “Well, whatever you say.”

Whether he’s determined to fight with a sword in his mouth, I’m not sure.

I grabbed the silver hair of the guy and dragged him all the way to Lager’s front. I ignored the guy’s screams of “Aaah.”

    “Hey.”

Even Lager, who was facing this guy, didn’t look happy, probably shedding some blood. But for non-life-threatening injuries, a day at the Academy Hospital would suffice.

“Go to the hospital and recover. I’ll be back soon.”

    “Ah, okay….”

I tried to smirk at Lager’s pale expression, but then I coldly changed my expression and scolded him.

“Don’t look at me. …I don’t even want to see your face. Someone like you.”

With that, I spat out and grabbed the guy’s hair as if fleeing, flying up into the sky.

    This should do it.

As I sighed heavily and flew, I checked the score.

    [Current score: 9,210 points]

“Why is it going up? Why, even when I say such awful things, does the score go up….”

I wanted to stay a little longer, didn’t want to leave.

Are you okay? I’m sorry for being so indifferent earlier. Let’s go home quickly.

…It was a bitter remark that I held back from saying.

I flapped my wings vigorously. I needed to quickly leave the guy somewhere safe and stay with Lager a little longer.

    Now, really.

    There’s no time.
