Chapter Index

“So what did you learn today?”

Amy asked me as she dropped me off.

I grabbed my plate and rubbed my face with my arms.

Because Amy’s hand was still hovering over my plate.

    “Okay. I won’t eat it.”

    “Really?”

I glared at Amy with a suspicious look.

She smiled slightly and sat down next to me.

“You said you learned a lot from Rain?”

“Yes. I had a very hard training.”

I nodded and put the pork cutlet in my mouth.

The sense of crisis that the tonkatsu would be taken away soon flew away with the happiness that came.

    “Shine learned from Victor?”

    “Yeah.”

    That’s right, shine.

I put down the fork in my mouth and asked Shine.

“What did Shine learn from Victor?”

    “Various.”

I wanted a more detailed explanation, but Shine wouldn’t answer any further.

The spaghetti sucked into her mouth hid its last tail.

Shine flicking her tongue as if trying to lick the red sauce that was all over her mouth.

Amy, who was watching the scene, took out a tissue from the table and wiped her mouth.

    “Ugh…”

    “Stay still.”

He turned his head here and there as if he didn’t want to, but he couldn’t escape Amy’s touch.

Amy wiped Shine’s mouth clean and gave him a peck on the cheek.

    “Hmm.”

Shine lowered her head, rubbing her cheeks.

“Shall we go after we finish eating?”

Amy looked around at us and spoke.

I nodded, putting the last of the pork cutlet in my mouth.

Victor and Lane also had cleaned their plates.

    “Jeff can’t go yet.”

    “Huh?”

“There’s still training left to do with me.”

Lane stood up, holding the plate, and said.

I nodded with a tearful face at her words.

Since she wasn’t able to finish the training she had set for herself today, she decided to eat dinner and then do the rest of her training.

    but.

    I grabbed Amy’s arm.

    “Amy…”

I wondered if I really had to do this, but my body, which had been exercising hard for so long, demanded rest.

Looking at her limbs hanging limply, I thought she would fall asleep as soon as she washed up and lay down in bed.

    “Why?”

    “I want to stop today.”

“Jeff. Isn’t it Lane you should be asking for help? ”

Amy shook her head in response to my words.

I nodded my head in realization.

Since Amy seemed like the tallest person, I naturally asked her.

    “Over there. Rain.”

    “Huh?”

“Can I not do it today?”

    “Hmm…”

Lane put down his plate and crossed his arms.

He looks earnestly at the chick who is seriously thinking.

Rain nodded his head while looking into my eyes.

    Eventually she granted my request.

“Okay. Since it’s the first day, I’ll stop here.”

    “Wow!”

I immediately spread my arms and cheered.

The dinosaur head hood on his head was blown off, and his white hair danced in all directions.

I’m excited. I don’t have to do hard training anymore.

I ran to Lane and hugged her tightly.

Rain, who seemed flustered for a moment and waved his arms around, smiled slightly after a while and hugged me.

The feeling of holding Rain in my arms was amazing because I was wearing soft pajamas.

After a satisfying meal, we returned to our room.

Victor went back to his room, but Lane followed us.

    “Ugh!”

Amy, who entered the room, stretched as if trying to loosen up her stiff body.

Long arms and legs stretch out.

I looked at that sight with envy.

If you’re tall, you might be able to brush your teeth without using a step stool.

I don’t think I’ve ever used a platform like that before.

I think of the foothold that has become so familiar to me now.

    “Hmm.”

    “Jeff.”

I was lost in thought when Shine grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the table and chair.

    Rain and Shine. And me.

A table with three people sitting around it.

I looked back at Amy with anticipation.

Amy noticed my gaze and smiled slightly as she headed toward the refrigerator.

What she takes out are various fruits.

Bananas, apples, pears. And even tasteless broccoli.

I like sweet fruits, but I hate the broccoli that’s taken out at the end.

    It’s tasteless.

A moment later, Amy placed a plate of nicely cut fruit in front of us.

And each of us was given a fork.

    “What is this?”

    “Bear paw fork.”

It was a really oddly shaped fork.

The fork, which looks like a sharp bear claw, faithfully fulfills its original role as a fork.

The bear’s claws gouge the apple.

The apple was headed towards the mouth of the Shine Dinosaur.

I fiddled with the oddly shaped fork and chose a banana.

    “Rain. How’s Jeff doing?”

“Everything is good. But I lack muscle.”

I touched Rain’s arm at his words.

I could feel her thin arms under her dinosaur pajamas.

I really didn’t have any muscle.

    “Should I change my diet?”

“Yeah. I think that’ll be fine for now.”

    “Really?”

As I was listening to the conversation between the two, I was so happy that I wiggled my butt and banged my head on the desk.

Tang tang – The short dinosaur arms danced happily.

“I think it would be better to increase the chicken breast.”

    I like chicken breast.

Although it was dry, there was no problem if you sprinkle some tonkatsu sauce that you secretly got from a restaurant on it.

The old chef, who I had met before, would give me what I needed whenever Shine and I visited.

“Then I guess I should reduce the vegetable portion a little.”

I wanted to feed the tasteless grass to Jin’s rabbit.

Anyway, it was a really good thing that the amount of grass in the lunch box decreased and the amount of meat increased.

    “You like it that much?”

    “Yes!”

I nodded vigorously to Amy’s question.

    I felt really good.

    “Me too. I hate grass.”

Shine, who usually ate her lunch box without complaint, also opened her mouth.

“Okay. I’ll put in a lot of shine too.”

    “Shine also hates vegetables.”

“If you don’t like Jeff, I don’t like you either.”

    “Then what’s good for me…?”

    “I like it too.”

After answering my question, Shine ate the apple by poking it with the bear’s fork.

    I feel Rain’s strange gaze.

She looked back and forth between me and Shine, then she felt my gaze and started to startle me, picking up a banana and eating it.

    Her plump cheeks twitch.

    I couldn’t lose either.

I ate the kiwi fruit with the bear claw fork I was holding in my hand.

The fruits that I had been eating like that for a long time soon hit the bottom.

Me, Shine, and Rain looked at each other.

The fruit is gone and all that’s left is broccoli.

No one in this place liked broccoli.

“What do you think of Rain’s food?”

“I think it would be better for me, the older one, to give in here.”

    “No. Rain looks the youngest.”

    “No! I’m an adult!”

Shine starts an argument with Rain.

Just looking at their appearances, the two people don’t seem to have much of an age difference.

I let out a small sigh and picked up some broccoli with my bear claw fork.

    “Let’s eat one each.”

There are five broccolis left in total.

“Each person eats one and plays rock-paper-scissors, and the winner doesn’t eat anything.”

    “Okay.”

    “Yeah.”

Everyone nodded, seeming satisfied with my explanation.

The three of us put the broccoli in our mouths at the same time.

The strange texture was okay, but the smell was truly unbearable.

Me, Shine, and Rain. The three of us were crying and biting our lips.

    “Did you eat everything?”

    “Yeah.”

    A strange tension flows.

    There are three broccoli left.

Only the winner here could escape the broccoli.

    “Scissors.”

Each of you takes a stance according to my words.

    I immediately raised my abilities.

A buzzing noise comes into my ears.

    A wide spreading current field.

The scope was this entire table.

Now that I had learned how to use my powers from Victor, I was confident I could win at rock-paper-scissors against anyone in the world.

    “Rock!”

    The tension is extremely high.

The three of us exchange glances.

    Shine, me, and Rain.

After swallowing dry saliva, he spits out his final signal.

    “Look!’

A hand that is thrust out powerfully.

The current field I spread reads Shine and Rain’s movements.

    Rain’s movements were read first.

    She was throwing punches.

The body reacts immediately to signals sent in 0.01 second increments.

If three people play rock-paper-scissors, even if only one person plays against the other, the other person will definitely win.

I chose lane as my target.

    Okay, come here.

    lane.

    I’m eating broccoli.

A small fist stretches into the air.

My hands spread wide in an instant.

    paper.

A choice that can beat the rock.

The moment I declared victory, I met Shine’s gaze.

    She was smiling.

Are you laughing? In this short time?

    A moment of silence.

For a short time, the eyes blink and flash.

As if a power outage had occurred, the whole world turned pitch black, then immediately brightened.

    “Oh.”

    I blinked.

Both Rain and I were unfolding our blankets.

    “I won.”

Rain and I both turned our gazes at the same time.

Speaking to Shine, who was sitting next to him.

She was holding out a pair of scissors.

A choice that can beat the bojagi.

    “Uh…”

    I nodded hesitantly.

    Anyway, it’s true.

I couldn’t read Shine’s movements, but if she was using the same abilities as me, she would probably be able to react faster than I did.

    “What? Am I real?”

Lane looked at his hands in disbelief.

    “Why a bojagi?”

Lane, who was holding my hand tightly, looked very confused.

I sighed and held out my fork to pick up some broccoli.

It made me imagine the texture that would be felt in my mouth as I ate it.

    “Eat rain too.”

    “Uh… Yeah.”

    Lane accepted the result.

Since we both lost, we had to eat broccoli.

Shine, who won the match, looked at the two of us with her arms crossed and a strange smile on her face.

    “Come on, eat quickly.”

    “Yeah…”

Rain and I put the broccoli in our mouths with gloomy expressions.

    It was really tasteless.

    “Did you eat everything?”

    “Yes.”

Amy, sitting at a small desk tapping away at her laptop, asked us.

Her gaze sweeps over the table.

“Put the empty plates in the sink. Let’s all wash our teeth together.”

    “Yes.”

I jumped down from my seat, holding a large plate in both hands.

I almost fell over the long dinosaur tail hanging behind the chair, but luckily I didn’t fall.

    Bad tail.

I gave it a hard stomp on the tail and headed for the sink.

Why should I brush my teeth?

Science has advanced so much. Isn’t there something like a medicine that can clean your teeth in one go when you put it in your mouth?

The performance of all drugs sold on the market was ambiguous.

    “Today is strawberry flavored toothpaste.”

The three of us headed to the bathroom and took out our toothbrushes.

Pink toothpaste flows down on top of a cute and pretty toothbrush.

After squeezing the toothpaste out for both of them, I turned around and licked the toothpaste lightly.

Couldn’t something sweet be used as a substitute for candy?

    The toothpaste tasted quite good.

    But I couldn’t eat it.

That’s because Amy scolded me a lot when I squeezed chocolate-flavored toothpaste into my mouth the other day.

With superhuman patience, I put the strawberry-flavored toothpaste back in its place.
