“In the book, they say.”

I throw out this topic in the slightly shaking vision carriage.

“In situations like this, bandits often show up.”

While I was talking like that, the females were each spending their time in the carriage in their own way.

Surprisingly, it was Elfin who was nodding off. It seems like there was a lot to do in the castle.

Ion was having a discussion with Hela. It’s too grand a word to call it a discussion, but since they were discussing opinions on sword fighting, there’s no other word to call it a discussion. (I was originally the same age as my daughter.)

Lulu was quietly looking out the window, thinking about something. When I asked her earlier, she simply answered, “magic.”

There was also a special guest, Hamu, who was looking at us in the carriage every once in a while as if he was having so much fun that he was laughing heartily.

    “Bandit?”

Lulu, who had been staring at the mountain path and lost in thought, answers with a slightly bewildered look.

“There’s no way they’re putting the Anastasia family emblem on the side of the carriages the size of a door.”

Well, if you say that, something will definitely come out.

As expected, as we’re talking, there’s a bit of a commotion on the front of the vision carriage (where the arcade prototype sits alongside the vision engineering table).

    “Did you see it?”

At my words, Lulu sighs and gets off alone. Elfin, who is sleeping, is still sleeping, and Ion and Hela briefly glance outside the carriage window before returning to their conversation about swords.

    -Whoosh, bang!

A moment later, there is the sound of something burning, an explosion, and a female’s shrill scream.

Perhaps Lulu threw a level 3 magic fireball near the bandits and drove them away.

    “It’s annoying.”

After a while, Lulu dusted off her hands and came back into the carriage.

    “How was it?”

“What the heck, he ran away as soon as he saw the fireball.”

But it’s quite surprising that the bandit I was talking about as a joke actually appeared.

“This is a mountain that feels like an uninhabited mountain between the Black Toe Territory and the Green High Height Territory. There’s nothing special about it and it’s not very valuable, so they both ignore it. But there’s a lot of traffic, so bandits like that show up.”

“I don’t care about either territory,” Lulu added.

“Besides, no matter how much you deal with them, another group of bandits will show up, saying, “This is ours now,” so you either have to go around the mountain or hire mercenaries.”

Ion provides further explanation from the side.

“There were many scoundrels who strangely wanted to make a nest on this mountain. The women who were my subordinates were like that too…”

    “This is a hot neighborhood.”

But the common opinion was, ‘I don’t know why they want to settle on this mountain.’ Is there some kind of water vein flowing?

After a minor bandit event, we cross the mountains and pass Blacktow Estate for a few more hours before we reach Anastasia Estate.

“It’s night. The atmosphere is very different from Yeongji’s.”

“Well, it’s a big place, but it’s a frugal neighborhood.”

As Lulu said, the Knight Sustained Estate felt like a neatly developed provincial city that was well-organized, while the Anastasia Estate felt like a fairly splendidly developed new city in the metropolitan area.

Even in terms of building height, the Knight Sustained Estate has buildings of similar height neatly lined up, but the Anastasia Estate does not seem to have any such restrictions, and its splendid buildings stand out.

    “It’s a bit like a mini zodiac.”

“Be sure to tell Mom that. That’s Mom’s goal.”

I heard that Marquis Luciolas was inspired by the old appearance of the Imperial Capital and steadily developed his territory. And it seems that his efforts were not in vain, as his territory is said to have a remarkable level of development compared to other territories around the Imperial Capital.

The Vision Carriage has now arrived at the center of Anastasia’s territory, the Anastasia Manor.

“You’re here! Everyone worked hard. Son-in-law, come quickly!”

“How have you been? I thought I was in the imperial capital, not the spirit world.”

When I gave her some gold lacquer as my first greeting, Marquise Lucio Anastasia laughed so hard that her Adam’s apple was visible.

“Hahaha, I guess my efforts weren’t in vain since my son-in-law saw it that way! Later, I’ll show you the estate myself!”

We unpack our bags in the rooms prepared for us by the Marquise Luciola.

    “Where is Kino?”

“She’s probably at Whitesmith Estates by now. My father’s third in line is Countess Helen Whitesmith.”

Well, come to think of it, I saw the father of the females more often than others. Normally, he would stay at the females’ house for a set period of time, but he must have made time for me.

“Welcome, little master. I am the maid Shiru. On behalf of all the servants, I welcome you, little master. ”

As everyone was huddled together in my room, a white female tiger wearing a neat maid’s outfit knocked on the door, approached cautiously, and gave a deep greeting.

“Thank you for your hospitality. This is Ain Frostgarm.”

Do-mo, Ain Prosdgarm Desu. When I greeted her with the same feeling, Lulu introduced herself instead.

“This is the daughter of the Viscount Siru Mountaintop and our head maid. Since long ago, we have had close relations with the Anastasia family, so the second or third daughters of the Mountaintop family have been working hard for our family.”

The cute maid, Siru, greets me politely and hands me a small, decorated bell, saying, “If you need anything, please call me anytime.”

    “What is this?”

“Anytime, anytime, anywhere in the mansion, shake the bell and servants will appear to assist you.”

What is this, an SCP? I wonder, but I accept it with a polite greeting.

    “Thank you.”

    “Then have a nice time.”

After the maid Siru leaves, we are left alone in my room, and the females and Hamu take interest in the arcade prototype.

    “Wow, that’s amazing.”

Ion looked interested in the temporary title screen with magnificent music flowing out.

“It looks like making this is Ain’s goal during vacation.”

Unlike Ion, who was interested in the screen, Lulu was more interested in the circuit. After looking at the circuit for a bit, she came back from her room with a bunch of more specialized vision engineering tools.

“That’s fun. Ain, do you have any other good ideas besides these?”

    “Hmm… I guess so.”

I hesitated a bit at Lulu’s question and then answered like that. There were many things and entertainments from the world I was in that weren’t here, and as I started to dig into vision engineering to make arcade machines, I realized that if I had an idea, I could do just about anything with magic and vision engineering.

“Good. Let’s try to complete this for now.”

“I’m going to make it slowly, so don’t dig too deep.”

    “That’s my mind.”

After saying that, Lulu starts to disassemble the circuit with great enthusiasm. Since I made it so simple, it seems that Lulu has figured out the entire circuit structure by now.

    “Well, it’s something to enjoy…”

Elfin seemed to be thinking about the various situations, benefits, and consequences that the arcade machine would bring rather than the arcade machine itself. It would be natural, considering she was a princess who was aiming for the throne.

“It won’t be like a casino where users spend too much money or get addicted easily like gambling. Kids can have fun with it too… but it’s not good if you get too immersed.”

“Hmm. If it’s less than gambling, then it’s okay.”

“Just in case, please check Elfin too when it’s made.”

“I’d be happy to do that.”

The day after arriving at Anastasia’s mansion. We, Hela, Marquis Luciola, and I, a strange combination, are walking down the main street of the estate.

There were various reasons why the females didn’t follow me. Lulu was tired of seeing the same territory over and over again, Ion was just oversleeping, and Elfin had already finished getting ready to go out by the time I woke up, saying she had to go to the palace for a bit.

“This is Anastasia Avenue, the heart of the territory. It connects the northern end of the territory to the southern end.”

Marquis Lucio, who came out without a single escort because of his outstanding skills and the presence of Hela, adds that if he goes north, he can go straight to the imperial capital.

“It looks nice. The streets are full of energy.”

“Haha, in our territory, there is a saying that if you get lost, just go straight.”

The Marquis Luciolas raised her hand and smiled as the citizens who recognized her greeted her politely.

“It seems like the people of Yeongji like their mother-in-law.”

“Well, I don’t know about that. God only knows if they’ll be happy with me.”

“I’m not a god, but the expressions on the faces of the people I greeted seemed to show respect for my mother-in-law.”

The Marquis Lucio smiled at my gilding.

“Looking at it objectively, I think I understand why your arrogant and unlucky daughter is hanging out with you.”

The Marquis Luciola says this as she accepts a small, unknown flower from a flower boy and pins it to the chest of her uniform.

“Um… Lulu likes me, but she doesn’t know how to hang me.”

Marquis Lucio smiled briefly at my answer.

“Since you and I became friends, there has never been a letter my daughter sent that didn’t include a story about you.”

The letters she usually sent were mostly about her magical achievements, her grades, issues within the Academy, or even minor controversies caused by her being dumped or having a sudden outburst by a male student that broke the hearts of the parents who read it.

It is said that after Lulu and I became a group, she would write and send me stories every time, as if they were reports from the group’s males rather than letters.

“That was quite impressive. It was hard to believe the story Lulu sent me about her son-in-law.”

Lulu wrote down everything about me showing talent in magic, learning maces and shields from Ion, exercising, and learning boxing. So the Marquis and his wife were happy that their daughter had become a good person, but they were also curious about me, Marquis Luciola explained.
