Chapter Index

    91.

“Good morning. Though it is a bit dark in here.”

    “……?!”

He sits up, his face tousled, drool dripping from his mouth. Erina greets him, sitting elegantly.

It doesn’t take long to remember last night. The moment his mind clears, instinct screams a warning.

    “Ugh…!”

“Ah, please have some tea. I’m sorry for brewing it myself, but I’m quite confident in its quality♡”

Erina offers him a cup of already brewed tea. Both the cup and tea leaves were taken without permission from the priest’s supplies. Of course, they weren’t meant for brewing tea, but it doesn’t matter. The slightly cooled tea’s aroma gently tickles his nose, calming his mind.

That’s that, and this is this.

He seems to remember battling someone small and seemingly innocent, but his memory cuts off.

    “What happened?”

“Would you believe me if I told you? Even so, we reached simultaneous climax and passed out. It was a draw.”

Looking down, he notices the young woman sound asleep.

“Do you know how much I endured? Watching her, writhing there, her butt shaking wildly…I’m almost proud of myself for resisting.”

After a passionate appeal, she takes a sip of tea and calms down.

    “I… I see.”

“Furthermore, I only clothed her lascivious body that was oozing fluids and trembling. Do you understand?”

His clothes are slightly disheveled, but definitely on.

Given the circumstances, even tying him up naked wouldn’t draw much complaint. Understanding this to be Erina’s pure kindness, given their shared faith, he doesn’t protest.

“I even endured masturbating. You wouldn’t know, not having a penis, but I swear… Sorry. I got too excited.”

Even amidst this confusing, distorted holy war, he recognizes these words are utterly uncharacteristic of a nun.

    “A draw… you said?”

“Ah, yes. How is that handled in your case?”

The priest considers this, but since it was a flawed holy war from the start, there are no established rules.

The best option would be to ask the Bishop or the Judge, but that would be a victory for the heretics, which he doesn’t like.

“It seems there’s nothing set down. Perhaps a rematch?”

The priest immediately shakes his head. He doesn’t know why, but his instinct understands.

He can never win. All he sees is himself passed out, soaked in his own fluids.

“What is it? You have to reach a conclusion. Or, shall I make the decision?”

He’s exhausted from the climb, forced to spend the night, and also abstaining from sex. He’s more annoyed than on his period.

“Give me a moment, and I’ll find an answer.”

    “I can’t accept such a lukewarm conclusion.”

The priest also doesn’t think Erina will stay put.

“Then, the one who battled with me…”

“No. She is only my proxy, after all.”

The priest clenches his teeth. Having lost the battle, he has little to say.

He has to reach an agreement, but she’s a tough opponent. As a lowly priest, he has no idea how to proceed.

Erina considers using a skill to resolve the situation.

    “What, is all this commotion…?”

Prim rubs her eyes and sits up. Her voice is heavy with sleep, and the dress she carefully put on has slipped down.

    “A rematch…with her…? Wh-what, who, who are you? A demon……?!?”

Casually glancing at Prim, the priest emits a barely suppressed scream.

That’s because the arm she isn’t rubbing is no longer human.

Repulsive, with silvery scales sprouting here and there, sharp but unkempt claws, and a large hand to match.

“How dare you bring such a lowly, uncivilized being before me… Wh-what is this???”

    “Both of you calm down.”

This wasn’t a transformation Prim intended. Something external is forcibly returning her to her original form.

She tries to concentrate and regain control, but this happened because Prim couldn’t control her magic, so it’s impossible.

Only Erina vaguely realizes that Levi and Aries did something.

“Despite her appearance, she won’t harm us. Probably…?”

“Don’t use that ‘my dog doesn’t bite’ line! Can’t you see she’s just as surprised?”

The priest takes a step back. Erina grabs his shoulders.

“Don’t worry. She still has some sanity…. But there’s no sign of her returning to her senses.”

    “…….”

There’s no way out. He has no choice but to take her away.

The Bishop is the only one who can solve this problem. He’s more reliable than the High Priest, and the Paladins or Heretic Judges belong to different organizations.

“I’ll set a condition. I’ll restrain your hands. And of course, this incredibly suspicious monster as well.”

    “Please, be gentle♡”

Thinking she’ll create a kind of manacle using divine power, she holds out both the priest’s hands.

Her magic still surrounds her and she wonders what will happen when her divinity touches it and even hopes it might have a suppressing effect.

    “Just a moment.”

But he’s only a low-ranking priest, his divine power not that strong. He could do it, but he doesn’t have time to think about it properly, and it would likely not last long, and he’d need something else to use instead.

Certainly, he wouldn’t have rope or cloth suitable for tying someone up, so he looks around.

“Hmm, if you use divine power gently, you can use it for restrain.”

“No. Ignore me for now and deeply remember the Goddess. Focus.”

The priest casts a doubtful glance but follows Erina’s advice. It’s not strange, nor does it contradict their teachings; it’s a standard practice.

Taking a deep breath, he reflects on the meaning of his actions and reaffirms his faith in the Goddess. A translucent divine light faintly emanates from his hands.

“Good. That’s it. Oh, this stings a little♡”

A slight, tingling pain tickles his wrists. It’s not unpleasant.

“I, this body, will remain here. It’s getting too heavy.”

    Prim struggles to stand up.

Erina makes eye contact with the priest and nods. A silent plea for understanding. The priest reluctantly nods as well.

A physical attack would be the worst-case scenario. As she can’t really move, he has to report as soon as possible.

Erina feels the same urgency to leave, and they hurry through the forest path.

Fortunately, there are few uphill sections and the trees, though tall, are spaced out, making the path not too strenuous, though it’s unpaved.

“I’ve come to see the Bishop.”

    “Hello.”

Unintentionally, the divine manacles suppress Erina’s magic, preventing much of a disturbance.

Only the glances of individuals inside were sharp. At a glance, the hasty preparation is evident in the lack of splendor.

It’s exactly within expectations. There are many people, but not to a threatening level.

“……Is that is already the end?”

“No? It hasn’t even begun yet? I’ve come to begin it, you see?”

    “…….”

Julia, the current leader of the Fried Church, glares at the nonchalant Erina.

“Do you think you can argue while tied up?”

    “Ta-da~ I’m not bound~?”

    “What? How…?”

    “Magic…! The Goddess’s will was right…!”

    Julia mutters.

“About that will…aren’t you misunderstanding something? We are truly following the Goddess’s will♡”

“What is that will? Ah, Sister, you may leave now. Thank you for your hard work.”

The priest bows and retreats, observing closely.

“Naturally, it’s to spread the Goddess’s name throughout the world. To be clear, I’ve received the Goddess’s sanction.”

“Nonsense. Damn it, even a stray dog could say that!”

Confirming they’re alone, Julia reverts to her usual tone.

“Naturally, you won’t believe that. But I received one more revelation alongside my mission: I must impregnate women. This is the proof.”

    Erina reveals her erect penis.

    The unexpected size startles Julia.

“Unfortunately, if that’s proof, I have one too.”

It’s recently developed, and quite small, but Erina flinches.

“Hoho…you were also chosen as a seed, were you? Then……our differences of opinion seem irreconcilable.”

“Unfortunately, it’s just not the same… that, cock… I give up. Forget the cock.”

    Her gaze keeps getting distracted.

“Our next meeting will be our last. I’ll warn you in advance, let’s see who was truly chosen by the Goddess. Surrender.”

“Get lost. I’m giving you a break, considering how recklessly you’re wielding your magic.”

“Oh, and you know there are demons around here, right?”

The reason Erina isn’t immediately attacked by everyone in the Fried Church; her magic is so weak it’s concealed by the dark aura surrounding this place.

Unless seen directly, it’s hard to detect.

Despite that, Julia holds the upper hand here, but she doesn’t seem to have come willingly. She’s definitely planning something, and thus she doesn’t act rashly.

She might attack immediately if it were only between both of them, but her position is too precarious. In that case, it’s best to send her away before they find out more details

“Alright, but I need to clarify this: the method of deciding the winner.”

“……Heretics are either converted or imprisoned.”

“No, that’s not it. It won’t end just with me saying I lost, will it? Besides, we have more general followers.”

“You dare call yourself a follower while a heretic. This just pisses me off…Fine, let’s settle this. We’ll decide on the time and place.”

    Julia glares at Erina’s penis.

“We’ll also choose our base. How about we reach each other’s base and claim some kind of token?”

They discussed their points without yielding and established the contest’s rules.
