Chapter Index

    It’s Saturday.

This weekend, the Flower Pot Bookstore is closed. The store manager closed the store to tell Rohan to study for his exams.

Although the actual store manager’s purpose seemed to be more than half to go play with his grandson, Rohan was grateful for the goodwill.

‘I should send gifts to the store manager more often. And buy a lot of books.’

He also informed me that he would likely have to quit his part-time job soon.

I didn’t even work long before I started talking to him. He smiled and understood, and told me to come visit him anytime, so I really wanted to bow to him.

I felt relieved because I thought a clean ending would be possible.

“Clara. Should I take this bus?”

    “Yeah!”

“The seats are 11A and 11B··· Clara sits by the window.”

“Is it okay for me to sit on the aisle? Isn’t it uncomfortable for you to sit inside···?”

“Please sit down quickly~ I find it more uncomfortable to cross my legs.”

So, it was the weekend before the midterms, the last free moment of the day.

Rohan boarded the bus to the station with Clara.

Needless to say, we are on our way to meet Zion, who has set out from Tigrova.

    “Brother. Here’s the water.”

“Thank you. Isn’t it too narrow?”

“Are you okay? Where’s your brother?”

“I have some free time too. It’s nice that the bus seats are luxurious.”

    Rohan chatted freely with Clara.

I put off studying and memorizing the midterm theories for a while.

Isn’t your head overloaded from recently taking on a new type of study that wasn’t even in your fortune?

Rohan felt that he needed some time to moisten his parched mind, so he felt that the current schedule was a good time.

“When we come back, Zion and Clara will sit together. I will have to sit in a private seat.”

Clara nodded, thinking that was right. Her purple twintails swayed.

Even if I were greedy and wanted to sit with Rohan at the center, the structure makes that impossible.

“Clara. If you’re sleepy, it’s okay. I’ll wake you up when we get there.”

“Isn’t your brother sleepy because of studying? Judging from the messages you send me these days, he’s been sleeping late.”

Rohan smirked and took out his smartphone.

    ─ Company Wave!

I turned on the game with Clara and turned the volume down as low as possible.

The girl turned her head towards Rohan, her eyes sparkling with interest.

“Now, if you have the goods, you can complete the 3rd party. What do you think?”

“Brother··· You grew up so fast. I think I’m going to cry···.”

Clara watched the whole time, but there was nothing particularly touching about Rohan’s play.

It’s clean. There’s no trace of the past that stimulated the training.

Now it was clear that if I just invested time, I would break through the top. It was truly a gratifying growth.

“Ah, did you get a call from Zion yesterday?”

“Yeah! I’m relieved that it seems to have worked out well. Oh, did you call your sister too···?”

“ I did. He suddenly asked me what perfume I was using.”

    “···.”

Clara remembers Zion’s voice coming from the other end of the phone.

The deep embarrassment that came from the single word that Rohan found out that he didn’t wear perfume.

It was only then that he realized that it was the smell of Rohan that had driven him crazy.

    “Clara.”

    “Huh···?”

“I’m late to talk, but I have an academy exam coming up soon, right?”

    “Yeah, yeah! I know.”

“The practical exam starts right after the written exam is finished next Monday. So I won’t be in the dorm until the practical exam is finished.”

    Clara’s eyes widened.

My voice gets louder and trembles without me realizing it.

“Uh, how long is it going to take···? A day? Two days···?”

“Unfortunately, it’s not that short. Right now, the schedule is set for Monday through Friday.”

    “!!!”

The despair of Rohan being absent for not one day, not two days, but the entire weekday.

Clara experienced the fall into a bottomless pit at Rohan’s one word.

“Look in the fridge, there are plenty of side dishes, so eat well with Zion. Okay?”

    “···.”

    Clara couldn’t answer that.

Actually, I couldn’t even hear it properly.

‘Hey, oppa won’t be here starting next week…?’

Looking back on my recent life, I couldn’t even imagine spending that much time away from Rohan.

Even if someone pointed a finger at me and said that I had symptoms of dependence or addiction, I couldn’t refute it.

    “Eeee···.”

To the girl who lost her mind and let her soul flow out between her lips.

    Rohan carefully extended his hand.

“And this is a bit random, but a gift for Clara.”

    “···?!”

Click! The sound brought light back to Clara’s dead eyes.

“I bought it because I thought it would suit Clara. It’s not that expensive though.”

    “Huh?”

The girl fumbled with her hands, touching the accessories in her hair.

You can tell what it is just by feeling it with your fingertips. The smooth material and the heart decoration on the end.

    “Oh, brother···!”

“I bought it on my own, so there’s no need to force myself to do it.”

“I’ll do this for the rest of my life···!”

Clara’s remark was so grand. Rohan smiled and asked back.

“Wouldn’t it be better to check the color and shape? If there’s a color you want, I’ll go with you to exchange it.”

    “I like this!”

There is no need to unpack it to see the design or color.

Since Rohan chose it, this is it. Nothing else is needed. It will never change.

The happiness brought by a hairpin placed in the hair.

The girl who had been stuck on the floor felt her spirits soar.

If I can keep this happiness as a spark, I think I can survive the weekdays without Rohan without freezing to death.

The station where you can catch the Sky Train.

It felt more modest than I thought, but it felt like waiting for a plane to arrive at the airport.

    “Oh! Oppa, that···!”

Through the window I could see the sky train coming down from the sky.

Clara pointed out that Zion was probably riding there in time.

After heading towards the exit where the broadcast was coming from.

Rohan grabbed a large piece of paper and a pen from the table.

“Write Zion on the placard and wait.”

“Oh, won’t my sister feel burdened···?”

“It’s all about the taste. It seems like it’ll either be a good reaction or no reaction.”

Rohan used his squiggly handwriting to write each letter of [시] and each letter of [온] in large letters.

Clara and I stood at the entrance, each holding a ticket.

Not even 5 minutes had passed.

Passengers streamed out from the entrance.

Zion, who appeared at the entrance, was wearing Rohan’s outer garment.

A truly unique beauty. It seemed to shine alone, and it caught the eyes of Rohan and Clara right away.

Zion perked up his ears and moved his head, then immediately found Rohan and Clara who were there to greet him.

He smiled in vain as he saw his name in the two people’s hands.

    “Welcome. You’ve worked hard.”

    “Sister, come in quickly···!”

Sion approached Rohan and Clara and smiled.

He gently raised the corners of his lips.

“Thank you for the splendid welcome.”

After visiting Tigrova, I felt a sense of leisure that had become stronger.

I want to hear detailed stories that I couldn’t hear over the phone.

    “Let’s go back first.”

    ··

    ··

We talked a lot on the bus to Gakuen City.

Even just before their arrival, the three of them continued their small talk.

“Yuho said he was worried that I would rush in as soon as we met.”

The girl saw the elders’ disgrace in behaving like that.

Thanks to you, I learned a lot of things.

The fact that Emperor Seolho moved in a straight line toward his goal while maintaining the proper line.

To emotionally blame the agreed-upon process of usurpation by clinging to it and saying it was wrong is to tarnish your parents’ name.

Zion also knows the flow of the world to that extent.

‘I heard that King Seolho doesn’t avoid challenges. He must be living with a strong resolve.’

Could it be because I pulled the trigger on the elder’s head and cleared out my petty emotions?

Recently, Zion has felt that his way of thinking has broadened a bit.

    ‘If that’s not the reason···.’

    Naturally, you will see Rohan.

A great observation that will make your heart race.

Thanks to Rohan, I now know exactly where to aim my gun.

    “Oh! Here we go.”

When the bus stopped, Rohan naturally took Zion’s bag and went ahead.

Zion, whose hands were empty, held Clara’s.

    “So.”

    “Huh?”

“How was it when you actually saw it?”

Rohan’s question as he came down through the front door. Sion knows that his curiosity means the Great Emperor Seolho.

Because this is something that anyone with a sense of purpose that wants to move upwards would be curious about.

    Clara was listening too.

“It was a monster that could not be killed by any means… It seemed like it would never die.”

Zion’s honest review. Was that enough?

Rohan nodded and walked away, showing no further curiosity.

“Just drop off your luggage at the dorm. Want an early dinner? I’ll buy you something delicious.”

    “Rohan. Wait a minute.”

Zion stopped walking and uttered a word.

Clara, who had been holding his hand, stops and Rohan looks back.

    “I want to buy dinner.”

    “···?”

Rohan blinked, showing a rare hesitation about what to say.

It was natural, since he never mentioned that he had inherited the estate.

It would be strange to pretend to buy food when you don’t have any money and even borrowed a credit card.

“I told you I’d come back and show you something. Do you remember?”

    “What did you say yesterday?”

    “, there was···.”

I remember what Zion said on the phone.

Rohan and Clara waited quietly, feeling that something was about to happen.

Zion rummaged through his pockets with one hand and took out his smartphone.

I showed him the account I had deposited money into.
