What is a ball?

The dictionary definition states that it is a festival and gathering where nobles gather together to dance socially.

In other words, the thing that cannot be left out of a ball is dancing.

“Please take care of me, Elfin.”

“I’m the one, Ain.”

Fortunately, I learned basic dance at the academy, and I also learned several artistic activities from Hamu, along with playing musical instruments, one of which was dancing.

The center of the large banquet hall was empty, and Elfin and I were standing in the middle. The nobles surrounded us in a wide circle, watching us with interest.

The Marquis Jude’s intention is to shine the spotlight on us, as we are the main characters of this ball and Elfin.

Here the dance begins in a classically Elfin-led fashion.

She was considerate of me and took steps that were easy to coordinate with each other and not difficult.

Lastly, I grab the night’s hand and waist and take a big step. Since the night and I are almost the same size, our strides are similar, so I feel like I fit in the best out of the six females in the group.

“We’re similar in height so it’s easy to dance. Should we dance something fun?”

“Should I like it, or should I be sad that the female is small and the male is about the same height…”

We took some simple steps and discussed what to do, and decided to try the Paso Doble and the Jive, both fast and brisk dances.

Fortunately, I danced happily without making any mistakes, and Bam danced along with me, laughing and dancing with me, as if he was dancing as he usually does, and he was much better at it than I was.

Our dance was pretty good, so the other men and women around us got excited and joined us in a lively dance.
