Chapter Index

    Peshinar Family.

As the protagonist in “Luminor Academy,” the Peshinar Family often appeared in the story.

One peculiar aspect was that the Peshinar Family did not actually exist in the world of “Luminor Academy,” but rather was a fictional family created by someone with personal intentions.

Especially when focusing on the Seraphin route, the name of the Peshinar Family was seen more frequently. Understanding the true identity of the Peshinar Family made perfect sense.

Because, the name Peshinar Family was simply an anagram of Seraphin’s alias or nickname.

It was common knowledge that by analyzing the consonants and vowels in the word Seraphin and rearranging them, you would get the Peshinar Family.

Some players questioned why an anagram was used in a medieval fantasy world, but after all, “Luminor Academy” was a domestic game.

Moreover, it wasn’t impossible to change Seraphin to Peshinar in English. This was information discovered by the players themselves.

There were more players who simply accepted it rather than complained about the lack of immersion.

In terms of accessibility, using an anagram in English was actually much better than in Korean.

Creating the alias of Peshinar Family instead of using Seraphin’s real name was a way for Princess Seraphin to communicate without revealing her identity.

If a noble like Seraphin wrote her real name in a letter, it would become restricted mail that couldn’t be sent anywhere.

But she couldn’t use another family’s name either.

If she sent a letter pretending to be a commoner, some nobles might not recognize it as Seraphin’s letter and discard it.

It was a form of using a double identity for personal or secret communication, rather than official correspondence from the palace.

Seeing the Peshinar Family name in letters sent to the protagonist was a result of this private communication.

    …Wait, love letter?

    “Could it be?”

A personal letter sent by Seraphin to Edan, even using an alias.

During the gameplay of “Luminor Academy,” most of the personal letters sent by Seraphin to the protagonist using an alias were love letters.

This meant that the letter sent by Seraphin might contain personal feelings towards Edan.

Honestly, it seemed quite likely at that moment.

The day Edan single-handedly defended the palace gates against the boss monster, even to my male eyes, he looked quite impressive.

Originally, Edan in “Luminor Academy,” and even at this point in time, bringing any character to face King Serpent was a significant achievement.

If not for Edan, the number of casualties would have been much higher.

For Seraphin, who valued human life the most, Edan’s actions were undoubtedly quite attractive.

From the beginning, there were descriptions of Seraphin gradually being drawn to the protagonist due to his righteous actions.

With the protagonist not yet appearing, it wasn’t strange for those feelings to be directed towards Edan.

    “…Is she quite decent?”

I can’t jump to conclusions right now, but the thought that Serafine would make a fine match for Edan as a serious partner crossed my mind.

Being the third princess, it was a given that she came from a household that could rival the Blackwood Duke family.

Her appearance was on par with the official description of a beauty in the game, and when we met before, she exuded a charm that could make anyone envious.

While her slightly overbearing personality could be considered a minor flaw, it was just a level of assertiveness that Serafine could handle on her own. And a little flaw here and there adds to human charm.

In fact, she seemed to compensate for this flaw that didn’t really seem like a flaw with her other strengths.

“…I can’t help but feel that characters like Lillis are no match.”

From her status to her appearance, Lillis had no chance against Serafine.

If we were to judge based on personality, the original Lillis might have had a slightly better personality than Serafine, but the problem was that in this world, the contents of that personality had already been replaced by me.

Even the good qualities of Lillis’ personality had been completely taken away.

While Edan and Serafine had spent a lot of time together and were familiar with each other, I honestly wasn’t sure if that was an advantage.

There was no choice. If Serafine really felt interested in Edan, I had to coolly accept it and support their relationship.

Having a consultation with someone like Serafine was rare, regardless of whether the person was the esteemed Edan Richard Blackwood of the Blackwood family.

Edan may have said he wasn’t interested in Serafine, but if a proper consultation were to come up, he would definitely show interest…

    “Wait, what am I thinking?”

For a moment, I evaluated Serafine as a potential partner for Edan, even comparing her to myself, and I shuddered at my own calculations.

I wasn’t even in a position to interfere with their engagement, and the fact that I had any connection at all with someone like Serafine was miraculous.

I had momentarily forgotten my own situation due to getting too involved with the main characters of ‘Luminor Academy’ at the recent masquerade ball.

Or maybe it was because of the fake engagement charade I had pulled off at that time that led to this ridiculous misconception.

I need to be careful. I was nothing more than a debt maid who could be disposed of or sold at any moment. At least for the next three years.

“Well, since this is a letter from Princess Serafine, I should set it aside and let Edan read it himself…”

    …Wait a minute.

Come to think of it, wouldn’t it be a bad idea to hand this letter directly to Edan as it is?

After all, this letter didn’t seem to bear the mark of ‘Serafine’ no matter how you looked at it.

There were no other indications or writings proving her noble status.

Since Serafine had sent the letter to Edan as a member of the ‘Fesinal House’ from the beginning, I should also treat this letter as if it had come from the ‘Fesinal House’.

And in my role of reading and categorizing the contents of the letters that came to Edan, the status of the Fesinal House was something I needed to confirm first.

If I were to hand this over to Edan without checking, it would likely cause a different kind of chaos.

Most people, including high-ranking nobles, were unaware that Serafine belonged to the ‘Fesinal House’. Of course, Edan was also unaware of this fact.

In such a situation, I handed the letter to Edan without even checking it, titled ‘Personal Correspondence,’ and without saying something like ‘It’s a letter for Princess Seraphine, you should read it yourself?’

Even Edan, if he sees such a stupid act blatantly, would definitely have 200% suspicion.

“I almost screwed up big time.”

I already had a history of arousing suspicion by unnecessarily reviving memories of my past life and pretending to know the layout of the palace when I was in the palace last time.

If I continued to act suspiciously this time, it would have been very difficult to just let it slide.

…But it’s also somewhat frightening to read a letter intended for the royal family before they do.

Still, since the sender on the outside is labeled as ‘Personal Correspondence,’ they probably won’t accuse me of insulting the royal family later.

    “…I don’t know.”

What can I do? It’s not a problem that will be solved by worrying about it.

Above all, if Seraphine had sent a letter under the name of ‘Personal Correspondence,’ I should have already considered the possibility of the maid reading the letter.

The other maids have already caught glimpses of all sorts of strange love letters, even without Seraphine knowing, so it’s a bit strange for her to just let it go.

I’m definitely not curious about the contents of Seraphine’s love letter. I’m just acting this way because it’s what I should do as the ‘exclusive maid, Lilith.’

With that thought in mind, I took the letter opener and brought it to Seraphine’s secret love letter (presumed).

Carefully scraping off the sealing wax on the envelope with a knife, I carefully removed it.

    – Tuck.

With the sound of the seal falling off, the envelope opened, revealing two letters.

The first thing that caught my eye was that there was another layer of sealing wax between the front and back pages.

Even if the seal was broken and someone read the contents inside first, the back page was double-controlled so that it couldn’t be read.

Just seeing this suspicious seal, I started to feel more and more like it was becoming a love letter.

What could be the content of the love letter from the princess that I have never read directly at the Luminoir Academy?

With a slightly nervous feeling, I began to read the letter from the first sentence on the first page.

…As soon as I read the first sentence of the first paragraph on the first page, I was enveloped in a sense of horror that felt like chills running down my whole body.

    “To Lilith Rosewood.”

    “……!!!”

    …This is insane.

How far is she calculating this?
