Chapter Index

    “Umm… .”

I groaned and put my wand down.

The plan to squeeze the lemon juice was good, but I couldn’t squeeze it properly.

Shards of crushed lemon floated above the refreshingly scented lemon juice.

I scooped the sagging lemon out of the bowl.

The smell of the refreshing liquid dripping down stimulated the salivary glands in my mouth.

“How much should I put in…?”

I was lost in thought, holding the bowl of lemon juice in my hand.

It wasn’t the same lemon juice as shown in the video, but it was 100 percent lemon juice squeezed from lemons, so shouldn’t it be better than the lemon juice used in the recipe?

While I was thinking like that, the coffee pot started to boil.

Pure white steam rising from the entrance and the sweet scent of sugar filling the room.

I flicked my tongue and opened the lid of the coffee pot.

“Jeff, you told me to add lemon juice when the water starts to boil.”

    “Ugh… .”

At Rain’s urging, I poured all the lemon juice into the coffee pot.

The bubbling water cooled down in an instant when it came into contact with the cold lemon juice.

The refreshing scent of lemon juice and the sweetness of sugar water blended together really deliciously.

“You didn’t put in corn syrup?”

    “Oh, right.”

The recipe calls for adding the corn syrup before the lemon juice, but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference to me.

I squeezed the corn syrup over the sugar water mixed with lemon juice.

A sticky liquid that flows down smoothly.

The sweet smell wafting from inside the coffee pot becomes stronger.

    “Done.”

I closed the lid of the coffee pot and turned it on again.

Now all you have to do is wait for it to boil.

We sit side by side in front of the coffee pot and wait for the water to boil.

A coffee pot that is heating up and making a beeping sound.

Eventually a bubbling sound began to be heard.

But the coffee pot caused a strange phenomenon.

A lid that rattles and shakes, and a body that shakes noisily.

    None of it looked normal.

I was so flustered that I reached out and tried to turn it off, but white foam suddenly started to pour out from the entrance.

The bubbling, flowing liquid was sticky.

    Candy water starting to overflow.

The sticky liquid that flowed down the surface of the kettle spread straight into the room.

Shine, Rain, and I stepped back in confusion.

Amy’s face appeared behind the coffee pot as it began to coat the floor with a glittering sugar syrup.

I had to move quickly and turn off the coffee pot, but the loud noise it made made me hesitate.

Eventually, I summoned up my powers and fired a small bolt of lightning towards the coffee pot.

    Dismissed-!

The small light that was twinkling at the tip of my finger stretched out in a straight line and hit the coffee pot.

The coffee pot was engulfed in a faint blue light, and then the light on the power button went out.

The candy-making plan was a complete failure.

The sticky liquid that was dripping down onto the floor could hardly be called candy.

    “What should I do… .”

I cupped my hands around my mouth and bit my fingers.

I made a mess of the room, so if Amy caught me I was sure I’d get in trouble.

But that wasn’t the only problem.

He even broke Amy’s coffee pot.

This is the coffee pot that Amy has always used.

It didn’t seem like it would end with just one ordinary chestnut.

My head is already starting to hurt.

    “Ugh… .”

“Eh… Amy is going to scold me!”

Lane ran from side to side, flapping his arms.

The pale face seemed to be imagining what was going to happen next.

However, Rain, who had been flustered, suddenly stopped moving as if he remembered something.

    “Move!”

She suddenly stretched her hands into the air.

Then the sugar water that had been hanging on the floor began to shake.

    right.

There was something I had forgotten.

Rain, the fact was that she was a power user with control over water.

But maybe it was because it wasn’t pure water.

The sugar water that flowed down to the floor only dripped and did not show any significant movement.

    “Keueueuuu!”

    Rain’s face turned bright red.

    Shaking shoulders and trembling fingertips.

It was a look that showed how focused she was.

Was it because of Rain’s efforts?

The sugar water that had been bubbling began to move slowly.

    “Go in!”

    Rain screamed desperately.

Shine and I could only cheer while watching Rain.

    “Cheer up! Rain!”

    “Only Rain can do that!”

The sugar water was squirming and shaking.

The sugar water that had been stickily covering the entire floor began to gather in one place, and took on a shape similar to the water dragon that Rain had shown me before.

The small, wriggling sugar dragon slowly moved and entered the coffee pot’s opening.

    “Ugh… .”

Immediately after that, Rain’s shoulders sagged.

I reached out and helped Lane up, placing him on the floor.

Her face was wet with sweat.

How difficult it must have been.

    I gently wiped Rain’s cheek.

    “Rain, are you okay…?”

    “Ugh… .”

    Rain just smiled weakly.

Thanks to Rain’s sacrifice, the floor was cleared.

But the coffee pot was the problem.

I carefully put Rain’s head down and walked over to the coffee pot.

    Knock knock-

I pressed the power button, but it still didn’t work.

This time I opened the lid of the coffee pot and looked inside.

A bit of a burnt smell and black soot marks.

The sugar water hardened and became sticky and stuck to the inside of the coffee pot.

I looked around, holding the coffee pot in my arms.

I didn’t know when Amy would come back.

I had to hide this thing before she found out.

I walked around the room with anxious gestures.

“Shine. Where doesn’t Amy go often…?”

    “I don’t know.”

    I desperately searched my memories.

A place Amy doesn’t go often.

There was no way that could happen.

Amy always cleaned every corner of this room neatly.

There was no such thing as a square for her.

At that moment, I was able to come up with a great idea.

    “Baekshi!”

    Yes, that’s right.

For me, there was a white poem.

A white swan that is a doll but has a large space inside.

The coffee pot also seemed to be a suitable size.

I ran to Baek-shi, who was sitting there dumbly, and opened the zipper on his back.

    Sizzle-

Behind the zipper that had gone all the way down, coffee mix spilled out and scattered onto the floor.

I put my hand inside the bag and pulled out all the coffee mix.

    Thud thud thud.

The coffee mix poured down and settled in a heap on the floor.

After I finished pouring out all the coffee mix, I put the coffee pot inside.

    Baek-shi’s body looked strangely plump.

But now there was no other way.

I fastened the zipper on Baekshi’s back and piled the small dolls on top of Baekshi.

    And that was the moment.

The front door, which had been tightly shut, began to swing open with a creak.

I quickly turned around and looked at the front door.

Amy entered the room with a tired expression on her face.

I looked at Shine with eyes asking for help.

But her figure was nowhere to be found.

Shine? Shine? Where did you go?

As I was looking around with my mouth open in bewilderment, I discovered the blanket bulging out on the bed.

A white thread poking out from between the blankets.

    It was clearly Shine’s hair.

Shine hid herself the moment Amy arrived.

    “I’m back~”

Amy muttered softly and went inside.

She was walking across the living room as usual, when she suddenly stopped moving and sniffed.

    “What is this…?”

    Her gaze moves slowly.

Once with Rain lying on the floor, and once with me frozen in confusion.

Shine hiding under the blanket on the bed.

    “What were you three doing?”

To Amy’s question, no one was able to answer.

Amy came over to me with a puzzled expression on her face as she looked at us.

    “Jeff?”

    “Yes… ?”

“Why did you spill the coffee?”

    “That’s… .”

Amy smiled slightly and patted my head.

    “Did you want some coffee?”

    “Ugh… . Yes.”

Amy nodded her head in response to my answer and picked up the coffee mix scattered around.

“Did I take this much out?”

Amy’s arms were filled with coffee mixes.

The things I had secretly taken out from Amy and stored inside Baek-shi’s body eventually ended up going back to their original place.

Amy put all the coffee mixes on a high shelf out of my reach.

    “What is this?”

Amy was able to discover something else.

It’s just a bowl of crushed lemons and Lucy’s magic wand.

And there were a few fruits left.

    “Le… . I was trying to make lemonade… .”

I was flustered and muttered something random.

But when I said it out loud, it sounded pretty plausible.

    “Lemonade?”

    “Yes!”

Amy lifted the remains of the drooping lemon.

    “With this…?”

    “Yes… .”

“Sugar and corn syrup… . Banana and peach?”

Amy muttered softly and picked up the intact fruits and placed them on the table.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

Amy didn’t seem to suspect anything, as it wasn’t much different from the level of mess she usually made in her room.

    “So did you make lemonade?”

    “Ah… No?”

    “I guess it failed?”

    I nodded to Amy’s words.

It seemed like the incident would pass like that.

That night, Shine and I were sword fighting on the bed with dinosaur tails.

“Jeff. Shine. Have you seen the coffee pot?”

    Shine and I stopped moving.

Their gazes facing each other shook without stopping.

    “Ah… No?”

    “I haven’t seen it?”

    A tail that droops.

Shine and I covered ourselves with the blanket and hid ourselves.

    “You really haven’t seen it?”

    But it was useless.

Because Amy came closer and lifted the blanket up and asked.

I answered, pulling my dinosaur hood down tightly.

    “I haven’t seen it.”

    “Me too.”

    “Jeff. Shine.”

The dinosaur hood that had been blocking the view suddenly rises up.

I blinked in surprise, and Amy’s face came closer.

    “You really haven’t seen it?”

I nodded, covering my eyes with both hands.

Amy let out a small sigh at my answer.

Eventually she started searching around the room.

Shine and I held hands and braced ourselves for the coming horror.

Amy, who had been searching all over the room, eventually headed to the place where the dolls were piled up.

Her gaze didn’t even think of leaving Baek-shi.

Amy approached Baek-shi, lifted him up, and examined his body here and there.

Something terrible is about to happen.

    I shut my eyes tightly.

    Sizzle-

The sound of a zipper coming from behind Baek-shi’s back.

    Amy would have found out.

I’m talking about the coffee pot inside it.

A moment later, Amy came to the bed and sat down without saying a word.

I slowly lifted the hand that was covering my face and looked at her.

    “Jeff.”

    “Yes… ?”

    “Shine.”

    “Yeah… .”

    “Did I do something wrong?”

I swallowed dry saliva and nodded.

Amy looked down at me and tapped her knee.

    “Come here Jeff.”

    I approached Amy hesitantly.

As I got closer, Amy lifted my body and placed me on her lap.

    Question marks filled my head.

    “Eh… Amy?”

I was flustered and tried to get up, but Amy held me down firmly to prevent me from getting up.

    “Okay… Wait a minute… !”

A body that is moving around.

    But I couldn’t move.

The tail that had been hanging over the buttocks is gently lifted.

Immediately afterwards, Amy’s other hand rises high into the air.

I looked horrified as I anticipated what would happen next.

    Pfft!

A light popped up before my eyes.

My butt felt like it was on fire.
