Once you pass through the territory and enter the mansion, the battle starts immediately.

Most likely, as soon as you enter the building, you will start fighting infected guards. Release is essential due to buffs and curse removal. If you still don’t have Release, bring Orion at least.

When you add Release or Orion, one slot will be filled excluding the default members. Since there are many monsters, it’s good to fill a slot with characters like Agnes who have area-of-effect skills.

However, I just brought Natalie without Release. She’s quite useful in mid-boss battles.

Upon entering the mansion, there’s nothing on the first floor. One of your companions will suggest exploring from the second floor.

Obtain the mansion map in the library on the second floor and acquire the Augeste Family Vision Book in the study on the third floor.

Once you obtain the Augeste Family Vision Book, the “Augeste Cipher Decryption Method” will automatically appear. By deciphering the text on the map obtained on the second floor using this method, you’ll find the way to the secret underground prison and how to obtain the key. (The key drops randomly by defeating guards on the 2nd and 3rd floors).

Now, when you enter the basement, you’ll encounter the Dark Knight Karahm at the entrance. He’s in a demonized state and quite formidable.

If you brought Natalie like me, focus on protecting her and you can easily finish the fight. If you don’t have Natalie, alternate between the protagonist and Release for damage. As a mid-boss, you should be able to defeat him with a decent combination.

Note: Upon defeating him, he drops a pendant. Giving it to a wizard slightly increases maximum mana, while others can use it as a decoration.

After defeating Karahm, use the key obtained earlier to open the prison door and farm while entering…

    175.223: Great walkthrough.

ㅇㅇ: Keep writing more walkthroughs. Your last one made the game so much easier after barely getting Release thanks to you lol.

    └223.38: True.

└Lil’GirlChang: I’ll continue writing as I do the 25th run, but not sure how long I’ll keep doing this.

└└ㅇㅇ: How do you even manage a 25th run? Do you have a life?

GuwonSoonAe: Can’t find the Vision Book in the study on the 3rd floor. Can you give more details on where it is?

└Lil’GirlChang: You should find it by searching behind the bookshelf with the black book.

└└GuwonSoonAe: Oh, got it now. I thought the red books had special effects, didn’t realize the interaction with the black book. Found it, thanks!

ReallyGreatGame: Who is the person inside the pendant?

└Lil’GirlChang: Probably Rizzi. As far as I know, she participated in the Empire event and died during a monster wave. It was about a year before enrolling in the academy.

└└ReallyGreatGame: Ah, that’s why they mentioned Rizzi when rescuing Seraphine. Blaming themselves for something, right?

39.7: Don’t want to save Seraphine, can I just skip it?

    └oo: (I’m pretty too! Sob)

└Lil’GirlChang: I tried everything, but it didn’t work out.

    ***

    Dark Knight Karahm.

The mid-boss of the “Seraphine Kidnapping” episode in Episode 3 of “Luminor Academy.”

While not heavily involved in the overall story, this character is one you inevitably encounter, even if you follow paths that don’t intersect with him.

As mentioned earlier, he is the mid-boss of the “Seraphine Kidnapping” episode, which is considered a crucial episode in “Luminor Academy” related to Seraphine.

In terms of strength, he is quite formidable as a mid-boss in Episode 3. At least stronger than Ethan, the mid-boss of Episode 2.

Of course, this is a story that does not take into account the growth of the characters over time, so objectively speaking, it might be a bit difficult to determine their strengths.

Well, in the case of Edan and Kaham, even if we consider that aspect, it’s natural that Edan would come out on top.

Oh, just to clarify, I’m talking strictly about the in-game characters. I’m not referring to the Edan standing next to me right now.

Initially, Hyumdan, the mid-boss of Episode 2, was a mid-boss overshadowed by my assistance, so naturally, when comparing individual strengths, he was lacking in many aspects.

On the other hand, Kaham, the mid-boss of Episode 3, is a lone figure and, on top of that, a character who has been demonized with demon blood serum, so it’s not appropriate to compare their strengths.

    “Still, though…”

At this point, it’s a bit difficult to be certain about who would win in a comparison between Edan and Kaham.

Edan, who has been honing his sword skills through rigorous training for the past year, seems to have reached a level where he can handle his energy quite well, judging from the glimpses of his training these days.

Adding the Blackwood lineage magic to that, his strength will likely surpass what I have seen.

And then there’s Kaham, whose physical abilities were overwhelmingly superior even before entering the academy.

Although there were some actions where his intelligence slightly lagged behind his increased physical abilities, he was definitely not a character to be underestimated in terms of pure strength.

After all, even after being demonized with demon blood serum, the fact that he remained sane signifies the strength of human will itself.

And when I see Kaham suddenly addressing that woman as ‘Lady Rizie’…

    “…Rizie Lin August.”

    A jolt.

Yeong-ae involuntarily shivers at the words that escaped my lips.

Judging by her reaction, I was undoubtedly correct. This character is none other than Rizie Lin August, a member of the August family.

“I had almost forgotten that she was a character who had already died in the story…”

I thought I knew all the named members of the August family, but meeting a character who had already died in the game’s story was unexpected.

Come to think of it, she was a character who frequently appeared in August-related episodes.

Although she didn’t make a direct appearance, her death was a crucial turning point that led the August family to betray the empire and join forces with demons.

Even if she didn’t directly appear in the game, she was a character I had heard a lot about indirectly.

“In the game, you can confirm her appearance through portraits or pendants.”

Perhaps my vague recollection was due to this reason.

Well, a noble character like this surely wouldn’t have had no impact on the main story.

Nevertheless, to recognize a named character even while wearing a mask. Even after three years in this world, the eyes of a gamer are still sharp.

    “W-what are you talking about…?”

    “…?”

    “R-Rizie…? W-who is that…? I-I don’t know anyone like that…?”

    “…Lady?”

    “L-Lady…? I-I don’t have any memories of having a brother like you… uhm…”

…Truly, watching her struggle was not just pitiful but almost tragic.

The desperate attempt to feign ignorance even to her own brother in order to conceal her identity was truly lamentable.

Not only I, but Edan as well, had roughly grasped the situation by now.

…Moreover, thanks to her younger brother Kaham, this feeble charade probably wouldn’t last long.

Before Kaham fell as ‘Kaham the Dark’, the title attached to him in his human state was ‘Clueless Kaham’.

“Nu, Miss! What on earth are you saying! How could you not recognize me!”

“Calm down… Let’s quietly step outside for now…”

“I am Karaham! Karaham Reimual Augustus! Aren’t I your one and only twin brother, Miss Liji!”

“Oh, please just shut your mouth!”

Liji finally gave in to Karaham’s almost explosive self-introduction.

Watching the banter between the two, Edan quietly spoke up and asked Liji,

“I see. If you are indeed a lady of the Augustus Changeback family, you could certainly stand up to the Blackwood family’s status.”

“Oh, no… We are merely a humble family from the outskirts…”

“That’s right! It’s only natural that our Augustus family, defending the monster frontlines in the western empire, is greater than your so-called Black whatever family!”

“Liji… an Augustus? It has been a while since I’ve stepped into such a place, I apologize for not recognizing you.”

“I am Liji Lin Augustus! Engrave it in that foolish head of yours, you despicable fellow!”

“Oh, please shut your mouth! Karaham, you blockhead…!!”

“Miss?! Why are you suddenly like this?!”

As they noisily entered the hall, Karaham promptly revealed his disdainful attitude towards Edan and his own identity alongside his sister.

Even I was taken aback by the siblings’ confrontation with the Blackwood family.

    -Thud!

Suddenly, a sound like a stone hitting the ground echoed through the hall.

Upon regaining composure, it was revealed that Karaham’s forehead had been slammed into the floor by Liji’s right hand.

    “Oh my! Miss?!”

“I have no words to offer for the disrespect shown to Mr. Edan Richard Blackwood’s partner. I deeply apologize for my ignorance and impertinence.”

“Miss?! What are you doing right now?!”

“In light of the damages caused by this incident, the Augustus family is fully prepared to compensate. We will cover the cost of the dress, repair expenses, and provide compensation for disrupting your day. I also apologize for my disrespectful behavior towards you…”

“Miss!! What are you saying?! Why should Augustus kneel to these strange people we’ve never seen before… Oh?!”

    -Thud!

“You, just shut up and keep your thick skull on the ground!”

It was Liji who had completely exposed their identities and was now trying to salvage the situation by banging her head on the floor, but even that was disrupted by her clueless younger brother.

In the rose hall that evening, the sound of Karaham’s hard head hitting the floor rang out several times.

Listening quietly to Augustus Young Heiress’s apologies, Edan muttered softly,

“…I might not be the only one who deserves an apology.”

    “Oh…!”

This time, she immediately turned her head towards me and bowed her head.

Almost the same words she had just said to Edan came out of her mouth once again.

“I sincerely apologize for causing damage to your dress in this incident, Miss. The cost of your dress and repairs will be fully covered by me and the Augustus side. Also, I apologize for my disrespectful behavior towards you today…”

“It’s okay. I heard it earlier anyway, so you don’t have to say more.”

“Excuse me, may I ask for the name of your family? The Auguste family will compensate directly for the young lady’s territory…”

    “Um…”

“I kindly request it, young lady.”

…Why does this feel like things are getting more troublesome by the minute?

Compensation? What compensation? In the end, whatever I receive will just flow into the Blackwood family, so ultimately, it’s not even my money.

Moreover, there was no way to reveal the name of the family.

How could a commoner like Rilis possibly expose my family? Should she send a surprise package to her gambler father or something?

Yet, if I show no reaction in this situation, it might seem like I’m being difficult to apologize.

This woman seemed likely to stick around annoyingly until I apologized.

…I’ll just have to deal with this situation appropriately and move on.

“I will accept the apology. However, you don’t need to worry about compensation.”

    “Yes, yes?”

As I said before, the recent incident was simply a mistake made by both of us. So, I will accept the apology for the insult, but let’s not discuss compensation.

    “Oh, okay…”

Liz, looking at me as if she were moved by something I said.

Anyway, this should help avoid situations where I have to reveal my family for no reason.

This was enough. Any embarrassment I felt towards Liz had completely disappeared after witnessing her and Caraham together.

Finally meeting characters in the game and having a somewhat enjoyable time.

“…Now that the apology is over, I wish they would disappear from my sight.”

“Excuse me! C-Caraham! Get up quickly!”

“I’ll walk, so please don’t pull my ear, miss!”

Caraham and Liz came and went like the wind and dew.

After attracting everyone’s attention in various ways, the two who caused it all left the evening rose hall and disappeared outside.

    ‘Ah.’

It was only after the two had left my sight that I realized there was something I hadn’t told them.

‘I should have told them not to participate in royal events for the next year.’

I’m not particularly fond of knowing a character’s face only to have them die in the next episode.

Perhaps I should send an anonymous letter to the Auguste family soon.
