Chapter Index

It had already been an hour since Lily left the dormitory.

Lily apologized sincerely and asked me to indulge her stubbornness just for today. As Lily’s maid, I had no choice but to obey her orders, but Lily made a request to me.

Although I felt a bit disappointed, I patted Lily’s head and encouraged her to win and come back safely.

Now, what should I do here?

I’m lying on the bed where Lily sleeps, feeling a bit bored. Rolling to the right, then rolling twice to the left, the bed still feels empty. It’s a bed that is unimaginable in modern times, but now it’s become so familiar.

But why did Lily dislike me leaving?

Come to think of it, she hasn’t left the dormitory since five days before the festival?

Does that mean it’s because of the festival, or because of people coming from other countries? Even though I was told that even with cognitive interference, it doesn’t work on elves with high magical knowledge.

Well, it’s a gathering of academy students from four countries, so it seems strange that there are no elves there.

I was looking forward to it, though.

There’s really nothing to do. Hmm…

Should I relieve my sexual frustration…? But I don’t feel like it.

Ugh. This world is great, but there’s nothing to do alone. There’s no TV, no computer. There’s a newspaper, but the newspaper itself can’t enter the academy.

    Ah, it’s really insanely boring.

Even when I was in the family, I never had time alone, so suddenly being alone all day is suffocating.

I should probably clean up first.

As I was about to get up from the bed to clean, someone knocked on the dormitory door.

Could it be Charlotte and Marie!?

Seeing Lily and realizing that I’m alone in the dormitory, they must have come to entertain me.

I threw away the duster I was about to use for cleaning and quickly ran to the door.

As soon as I arrived at the door, I opened it without any suspicion.

    “Unnie!”

    ‘Unnie?’

There was a girl I had never seen before in front of the dormitory door.

A girl who looked about the same age as Lily. She had eyes made of eyes, white hair, and irises. She was a lovely girl with even white skin.

The girl looked at me and called me unnie, trying to cry.

As I tried to speak to the girl in front of me, my vision started to turn red.

    “Huh?”

    “Amelia unnie!”

    -Drip.

I closed my eyes, but even when I opened them, everything was still red. I immediately realized the reason. As I closed and opened my eyes again, tears flowed. But those tears were not tears, but blood.

    ==

Lily is more troubled than ever.

    Helena’s contact.

    Emily came looking for Amelia.

Emily realized that Amelia is alive much further in the future, so when she realized that Amelia was captured instead of me, she came looking for her.

In other words, she absolutely doesn’t know that Amelia is alive at this moment. But she’s looking for Amelia?

If she heard my information at the academy and found out that Amelia is alive, she should have come looking for me, not gone to the Estelle family.

That means she went there without collecting any information, solely based on personal information.

In summary, she independently discovered that Amelia is in the Estelle family without any information or news from other countries, and she went from the academy to the Estelle family alone.

This clearly indicates that she has memories of the past.

As soon as this thought crossed Lily’s mind, she put on a determined expression.

“I’ll ask her about it at the upcoming exchange event.”

Since the exchange event is about to start soon, Lily was eagerly waiting for that time to come so she could see Emily.

The representatives of each academy were the first to engage in the exchange event. The time had come, and all the academy representatives began to ascend the stage, with Lily quickly scanning the crowd to find Emily.

“What’s going on, why isn’t she here? Did Mari misunderstand? No, there are only four of us, including me. One person is missing.”

As Lily had thought, there should have been five people on the stage, but there were only four. The officials began to panic, and the reaction from the Levank side was the same.

    “Wait, acting alone?”

At that moment, Lily remembered something.

Emily was the crazy girl who had gone to the Estelle family alone.

As soon as that thought crossed her mind, Lily visualized the surveillance magic she had placed on Amelia, and her eyes turned to the scene before her.

Amelia was covered in blood, lying on the ground, with Emily embracing her.

    ==

As we approached Amelia through teleportation, it seemed that Helena had the same idea as me, as she also teleported to Amelia with me.

Helena and I quickly approached Amelia, pushing Emily, who was holding onto Amelia, forcefully away.

Emily was pushed back without any resistance.

We quickly examined Amelia, and fortunately, she seemed to be unharmed, despite the blood. Helena, seeing Amelia in this state, tried to kill Emily in anger.

“Lily? Why are you stopping me? I’m going to kill that girl right now.”

“Wait, Amelia’s condition is not entirely Emily’s fault, she didn’t do it on purpose.”

“How do you know that? Amelia is bleeding like this! She should suffer too. I should have just killed her when we were looking for Amelia in the family.”

    “Helena!”

    “Sigh… Fine. I get it.”

“For now, clean up Amelia and let her rest comfortably in bed. I’ll take care of Emily.”

    “Okay.”

Amelia had blood in her eyes and her arms and legs were red.

I clearly remembered these symptoms. They occurred when I told Amelia the truth about my past when I came back from the past.

Rather than telling the truth, if I made Amelia recall something related to it, she would experience eye pain, trembling arms and legs, or other adverse reactions.

When I first saw Amelia at the age of 8, I never told her that I came from the future under any circumstances.

But now, Amelia was having a stronger adverse reaction than before.

I approached Emily, who was still in a daze.

    “Emily.”

    “Witch…”

Emily trembled as she looked at the blood on her hands.

And the nickname, ‘witch.’ It was the nickname Emily used to call me when she was chasing me. This clearly indicated that Emily had followed me back to the past.

“I didn’t say anything to Amelia. I just… I just called her sister, that’s all. Suddenly… suddenly… blood started pouring from her eyes and then…”

    “Wait, could it be?”

It was unbelievable. The word ‘sister.’ It was a very simple word with no significant information.

Just a word used to address an older female.

But could Amelia have such a strong adverse reaction to that simple word?

In my case, even when I told Amelia that I knew her, she didn’t show any adverse reactions. It was only when she heard the word ‘mother’ that she reacted negatively.

Of course, both ‘mother’ and ‘sister’ were simple words with no significant information. But in my case, the word ‘mother’ did not fit the first time I saw the maid.

Therefore, it was inevitable for Amelia to come up with different thoughts on her own. Why does she call me mom?

As this line of thinking continued, Amelia exhibited a rejection response.

Well, even if both Emily and Amelia triggered rejection responses in Amelia, the degree of Amelia’s rejection response was starkly different.

Underneath where I am standing right now, there is a huge amount of Amelia’s blood pooled. There was so much blood flowing that if someone saw it, they would mistakenly think someone had died.

In other words, Amelia did not trigger a rejection response because of the word “unnie.” In the first place, a rejection response to the word “unnie” is strange.

In short, it is not that Emily calling Amelia “unnie” triggered a rejection response, but rather, a rejection response occurred just by facing Emily herself.

Only then did I feel like the pieces of the puzzle were coming together.

“Let me be blunt. Do not approach Amelia for the rest of your life.”

“… What? Why should I? You’re the one who made Amelia kill. And why is Helena protecting Amelia? Helena is the one who tortured Amelia. Why aren’t you killing Helena? If you were always by Amelia’s side, and became the head of the Estelle family, why are you just leaving Helena alone? Are you ignoring Amelia? Abandoning her? Are you jealous?”

    “Words won’t work.”

Perhaps Emily had the same thought as me, as the uniform of Levent Academy quickly transformed into a white armor, and Emily’s weapon, a large greatsword, fell from the sky.

“Witch. I will kill you, and I will also kill Helena and take Amelia unnie with me.”

“Sorry, but Amelia and I promised to get married.”

    “Die!!!!!!!”

As Emily charged, I took out Amelia’s special scent mask and put it on.
