Hyunseong was lost in thought as he gazed out the window at the dazzling celestial scenery. The bustling angels just a moment ago were nowhere to be seen, and now only silence lingered.

    ‘Is war about to start?’

He muttered softly. Even if he wasn’t an angel, it was not hard to predict given the current situation. Hyunsung vividly remembered how obsessed the demons were with him. Their hot gazes, affectionate touches, and even their possessive whispers.

‘There’s no way they would let me be kidnapped and just sit there.’

Hyunseong smiled bitterly. The anger and hatred of the demons was obvious. The sense of betrayal and loss they felt would be so great that nothing could suppress it.

‘Just now… the conversation between Michael and that angel… .’

He recalled Michael leaving in a hurry. He could not hear the exact content of their conversation, but he could guess from their expressions and voices that the situation was serious. That short conversation confirmed that his premonition was not wrong.

‘The Demon World… has started to move.’

Hyunseong clenched his fists. His heart began to beat faster. Along with fear, a strange excitement enveloped his entire body.

‘What role will I play in this war…?’

He knew that he was at the center of this great war. Two great forces, the demons and the angels, were clashing to take possession of him. He was no longer an ordinary human. He was the ‘savior’ who held the fate of two worlds in his hands.

    ‘But… I… .’

Hyunsung let out a deep sigh. He still had a hard time accepting the fact that he was a ‘savior’. He was just an ordinary human, without any magic or special abilities.

    ‘What can I… do…?’

He looked down at his hands. Ordinary human hands. What could these hands do?

    ‘Can we stop the war?’

He desperately hoped that the demons and angels would no longer fight and would coexist peacefully. But he knew better than anyone how futile that hope was.

    ‘This war… is unavoidable.’

Hyunseong closed his eyes. The faces of the demons he had met in the Demon World came to mind one by one. Lilith, Sepia, Rhea, Agni… and Luciferia. Their faces were filled with sadness, anger, and longing.

    ‘They’ll come get me back.’

Hyunseong knew. The demons would never give up on him. They would risk everything to fight to get him back.

    ‘And… the angels… .’

He thought of the faces of the angels. Michael, Gabriel, Angela… and the countless others who worshipped him. Their faces were a mixture of blind faith, devotion, and mad obsession.

‘They too… will fight to protect me.’

Hyunsung let out a deep sigh. He was in the conflict between the two worlds and didn’t know what choice to make. He didn’t want to take anyone’s side, but at the same time, he didn’t want to disappoint anyone.

    ‘What should I do…?’

He looked out the window once more. The dazzlingly beautiful celestial scenery seemed to him like the calm before the storm.

Hyunseong clenched his fists. His nails dug into his palms, causing a sharp pain. But he didn’t have time to worry about his own pain right now.

    ‘What the heck… do I do…?’

He asked himself the question again. But the answer did not come easily. He still did not fully understand the situation he was in, and he was at a loss as to what to do next.

At that moment, a noise was felt outside the door. Someone was knocking cautiously on the door.

    “Savior… Are you there…?”

    It was Angela’s voice.

    “Come in.”

Hyunsung answered softly. The door opened quietly, and Angela came in. Her face was more rigid than usual, and her eyes were filled with complex emotions.

    “What’s going on?”

Hyunsung looked at Angela and asked. He could sense from her expression that something unusual was going on.

“Savior… I have something to tell you.”

Angela opened her mouth cautiously. Her voice was lower and shaky than usual.

“A messenger has arrived from the Demon World.”

    “Messenger?”

Hyunseong asked in surprise. What could it be, sending a messenger from the demon world to the heavens?

    “What did they… say?”

Hyunseong asked, trying to remain calm.

Angela hesitated for a moment, then slowly opened her mouth.

“They are demanding…the return of their Savior.”

Her voice was small, but it carried tremendous weight. Like the calm before a storm, an uneasy and dangerous tension filled the room.

Hyunseong was silent for a moment after hearing Angela’s words. He had already expected this, but when reality hit him, his mind became complicated.

    “And…they…if they don’t listen to the request… ”

Angela lowered her head, unable to continue speaking. Her shoulders were shaking slightly.

    “I’m going to declare war.”

Her last words were like a death sentence. When Hyunseong heard those words, he felt goosebumps run down his entire body.

‘In the end… is this how it ends up… .’

He smiled bitterly. The fate of the two worlds, the demons and the angels, was now in his hands.

    “Okay, Angela.”

Hyunseong slowly stood up from his seat. His eyes were shining with determination.

    “Where is the messenger?”

He hesitated no longer. He realized that the time had come for him to decide his own fate, and the fate of both worlds.

    “Savior, no!”

Angela shouted in an urgent voice. She blocked Hyunseong’s path and tried to stop him.

“You must not meet them! They will corrupt the Savior!”

Her eyes were filled with fear and worry. She strongly opposed Hyunseong meeting the Demon Lord.

    “Angela, step aside.”

Hyunseong spoke in a firm voice. His eyes did not waver.

    “I… have to meet them.”

    “But…!”

Angela tried to convince Hyunseong again, but he cut her off.

“Anyway… the demons and angels… originally hated each other so much that they fought each other often.”

Hyunseong said with a bitter smile.

“We couldn’t tolerate each other’s existence… and we fought constantly.”

His words were not wrong. The demons and angels had lived in conflict and hatred for a long time. They regarded each other as devils and monsters, and tried to destroy each other.

“This ultimatum is also… effectively a declaration of war.”

Hyunseong looked straight into Angela’s eyes. His eyes were filled with sadness and determination.

“Even the Celestials… and the Demons… can never give up on me. But they don’t want to share it either.”

    He smiled bitterly.

    “Anyway… war… is unavoidable.”

Angela couldn’t say anything to his words. She knew that Hyunseong was right. She just lowered her head and held back tears.

Hyunseong looked at Angela for a moment, then slowly opened his mouth.

    “But… I… think differently.”

His voice was small, but it was filled with strong conviction.

“I want to… stop this war.”

    He clenched his fist.

    “I want to… proactively… resolve this situation.”

    His eyes shone with determination.

“I will find a way to break through this situation… on my own.”

    He looked at Angela again.

“If they can’t find peace on their own… I’ll make it for them.”

At his words, Angela looked up in surprise. Her eyes were filled with awe, admiration, and a strange hope.

“The Celestials… have absolute loyalty to me.”

Hyunseong said in a confident voice.

“And… I have an unusual affection for the Demons.”

    He smiled broadly.

“It’s like tightrope walking… but the only choice left is… facing Armageddon.”

He took a deep breath and spoke again with a determined expression.

“They said that doing something without fear is courage.”

    He patted Angela’s shoulder.

“If I make up my mind… I believe there will definitely be someone who will follow me.”

At his words, Angela hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded. There was still anxiety in her eyes, but at the same time, a firm belief in Hyunseong was sprouting.

    “Okay, Savior.”

    She answered quietly.

“But… please be careful. You… are so precious to us… ”

Her voice was trembling and there were tears in her eyes.

Hyunseong felt a part of his heart ache at Angela’s sincere concern. He held her hand and spoke softly.

“Don’t worry, Angela. I’ll be fine.”

He smiled and let go of Angela’s hand.

“Now, shall we go and meet the messenger?”

He walked toward the door with a determined expression. Behind him, he felt Angela’s worried gaze. But he did not stop. He was now determined to carve out his own destiny, and the destiny of the two worlds, for himself.

    I’ve decided.
