She asked with a worried voice, carefully taking Hyunseong’s hand. Her hand was cold but soft, and a soft light flowed out.

    “No, that’s not it…”

Hyunseong tried to smile and answered, but the anxiety still remained in his heart.

“Savior, are you still feeling uneasy about what happened in the Demon World?”

Angela asked softly, not letting go of Hyunseong’s hand. Her gray eyes were filled with genuine concern.

“Maybe… if I show you the beauty of heaven, you might feel better.”

Angela continued with a bright smile.

“The heavens are incomparably beautiful and peaceful compared to the underworld. The clear and clean sky, the magnificent golden buildings, and even the beautiful singing of angels… You can’t feel any sadness, pain, or suffering here.”

She described heaven in a beautiful voice, as if reciting a poem.

“And above all… The Celestials are different from the Demons. We abhor greed and violence, and seek only justice and love. We truly respect and worship you, and will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for you.”

Angela looked deeply into Hyunseong’s eyes and spoke. Her eyes were shining with burning passion.

“We will provide you with the best food, clothing, and comfortable rest. Anything you wish will be done with just a gesture of your hand. You just need to stay here in peace and receive our service.”

She whispered in a sweet, seductive voice.

“Savior, give us a chance to serve you. You are our light and our hope. Where you are, heaven is.”

Angela kissed Hyunseong’s hand once more and bowed deeply. Her body was trembling and hot tears were flowing from her eyes.

Hyunseong felt complicated as he watched Angela’s hot tears. He felt burdened by the angels’ blind worship and devotion, but at the same time, he was moved by their purity.

‘Maybe… this place isn’t so bad either.’

But questions still lingered in his mind.

‘Do the angels truly serve me with pure intentions? Or… do they have their own hidden agenda?’

Hyunsung still couldn’t completely trust the angels. He had to keep his guard up and figure out their true intentions.

Hyunseong carefully opened the door and stepped outside. The dazzling sunlight poured in, squinting his eyes.

    ‘It’s outside.’

In the Demon World, he was always inside buildings and rooms. The few times he went outside, it was in a car, and he was even attacked.

But at least in heaven, they could walk on their own.

Hyunseong took a deep breath. The clear, refreshing air seeped deep into his lungs.

It was so clean and fresh, incomparable to the stuffy, suffocating air of the Demon World.

    “Savior, come this way.”

Angela came up next to him and guided him politely. She was neatly dressed in a white uniform, and her gray eyes were shining behind her gold-rimmed glasses.

Hyunseong followed Angela down the hallway. The hallway was wide and clean, and the walls were made of softly shining white jade.

The hallways were decorated with beautiful statues and paintings, and ornate chandeliers hung from the ceiling.

“This is the living space of angels.”

    Angela explained.

“The angels spend their time in their respective rooms practicing and praying. If the Savior wishes, you may visit the angels’ rooms at any time.”

    “Really?”

Hyunseong looked around with interest. He wondered what the lives of angels were like.

“But Savior, angels are very delicate and sensitive beings, so you must let me know before you visit, so that the angels can prepare to welcome you.”

Angela added cautiously, her voice holding a strange tension.

Hyunsung nodded to Angela’s words. He knew that he had to respect the angels’ rules.

“Okay. So, what places are there in heaven?”

Hyunseong changed the question. He wanted to know more about this new world.

“There are many places in the heavens, including beautiful gardens, magnificent temples, and libraries filled with divine power. I will guide you wherever the Savior desires.”

Angela answered with a bright smile.

“Then, shall we go to the garden?”

Hyunseong wanted to take a walk in the sunshine.

    “Of course, Savior.”

Angela led Hyunseong into the garden. The garden was large and beautiful, and was filled with colorful flowers.

Beautiful fish were swimming in the clear, transparent pond, and little birds were chirping on the green lawn.

Hyunseong took a deep breath. A peaceful atmosphere that he had never felt in the demon world enveloped him. He felt as if he was walking through a dream.

    “Beautiful…”

    Hyunseong muttered in admiration.

“I’m glad that the Savior likes it.”

    Angela smiled with satisfaction.

“The beauty of heaven makes the nobility of the Savior shine even brighter.”

She came up next to Hyunseong and linked arms with him. A faint fragrance emanated from her body.

“Savior, please spend your time here comfortably. I will always be there for you.”

Angela’s voice was soft, but there was a strange obsession hidden within it. Hyunseong felt a strange sense of unease at her touch.

But he answered with a forced smile.

    “Thank you, Angela.”

In this beautiful garden, there were only Angela and Hyunseong. In the quiet silence, only the chirping of birds and the sound of leaves rustling in the wind could be heard. Hyunseong looked around and asked.

“Are we the only ones here?”

    “Yes, Savior.”

Angela answered politely, her gaze never leaving Hyunseong.

    “What about other angels?”

Hyunseong was curious. They said it was the living space of angels, so why was it so quiet?

“Only a few qualified angels are allowed to see the face of the Savior. This is to prevent any unfortunate incidents that may cause disrespect to the Savior.”

Angela’s voice was calm, but there was a strange tension hidden within it. It felt as if she was hiding something.

Hyunseong frowned. ‘Only the qualified few?’ That meant that other angels could not meet him.

‘The misfortune of committing an injustice?’ That statement was also strange. What injustice could the angels commit against him? Rather, did they not worship him as a god?

    “I see…”

Hyunseong tried to answer in a calm voice. He walked through the beautiful garden and slowly looked around.

Everything I saw was beautiful and peaceful, but I could sense the darkness hidden within that beauty.

    ‘Is this place… really heaven…?’

Hyunseong recalled what had happened in the Demon World. The crowd of demons that had gathered in front of the palace to see his face.

Their hot gazes and enthusiastic cheers gave him a strange sense of pressure. He worried that something like that might happen again in heaven.

Angela noticed his anxiety and smiled gently, saying:

“Of course, Savior. Unlike the lowly demons, most celestials follow the rules and etiquette. They will not commit the rudeness of rushing to surround you just because you appear before their eyes.”

She took a moment to catch her breath and then added.

“However… Since everyone’s hearts long for the Savior, they will watch from afar… Should I tell them in advance to prohibit that?”

Hyunsung felt mixed emotions at Angela’s words. Although he had escaped the demons’ fanatic obsession, he was also burdened by the worship of angels.

    “No… It’s okay.”

Hyunseong shook his head. He knew that he couldn’t completely avoid the angels’ curious gaze.

The Angela in front of him was literally as perfect as an angel. Her appearance and body were made with perfect curves and shapes as if they were carved from marble. Her beauty was so splendid that it was fitting to say that she was made by God. He still couldn’t believe that such a being was serving him. And what’s more, such beings were glancing at him from afar, not knowing what to do.

‘Even though this is the situation… honestly, it’s true that I’m also happy.’

Hyunsung admitted his honest feelings. He was an ordinary human, and the attention and admiration of beautiful beings boosted his self-esteem. Whether in the demon world or in heaven, he was treated as a special being.

But that uniqueness also made him uneasy.

‘What on earth… why did I become like this…?’

He still did not know his destiny and his role, and that uncertainty tormented him constantly.

“Savior, what are you thinking so deeply about?”

Angela’s soft voice interrupted his thoughts. She was looking at Hyunseong with worried eyes.

    “Oh, it’s nothing.”

Hyunseong answered with a forced smile. He wasn’t ready to reveal his anxiety yet.

“Then, shall we take a look around the garden some more?”

He changed the subject and walked forward. Angela followed him closely, paying attention to his every glance and every step. She looked like a shadow, or a loyal bodyguard.

Hyunseong slowly walked through the garden, taking in the beautiful scenery. However, countless questions still lingered in his mind. Will he be able to find true freedom in this beautiful paradise? Or will he be trapped in another form of prison?
