Chapter Index

    “Ugh… the waist… the thighs…”

I groaned at the pain in my lower body that came out of nowhere. Of course, I knew the reason. Although I had been drinking, I didn’t drink too much to the point where the film stopped, so I vividly remembered the night I had hung out with Rube.

    “Did I overdo it?…”

I’m not much of a brat, so doing it three times in a row was bound to be a huge burden, both physically and energetically. Normally, even if my body complied, the opposite sex would have figured it out and cut it, but with alcohol involved, I couldn’t suppress my instinct.

    ‘Still, it’s better than Lube.’

I glanced at Rube lying next to me. Regardless of her personality, she always woke up early and her body was still trying to sleep. Unless he’s quite tired, I can’t see him waking up later than me, and it seems like the love we shared yesterday was especially intense.

    ‘Well, if it’s that climax….’

While I ejaculated five times, the number of times Luv went away was as many as 20 times. I don’t know how difficult the aftermath will be, but it probably won’t be light. This is because I fell into a deeper sleep than the day I fell asleep, exhausted from the reaction that destroyed the meteorite.

    “……Phew.”

I couldn’t stop the laughter from bursting out. Comparing it to the day I destroyed the meteorite, I felt like I had become a more amazing man than the meteorite. I spent a while observing Luv’s sleeping face, and it wasn’t until I felt an empty stomach in my stomach that I thought I should get up.

The automatic doll couldn’t cook because the rub was extended, but I also had five years of experience living on my own. It wasn’t difficult to make a meal.

    “…….”

    “Well, what is it.”

While I was frying in the kitchen to make a simple bacon and eggs, an automatic doll wearing a cooking uniform was staring at me. Of course, he wasn’t going to harm me, but the constant stares made me feel uncomfortable.

After I finished eating, I lost motivation again. Rare life is like this. Since there is no clear purpose, I just faithfully waste my time. A life where you sleep when you’re sleepy, eat when you’re hungry, and play when you want to play was like everyone’s dream, but unfortunately, there wasn’t any place to play here.

    “Umm….”

I didn’t know if something dangerous could happen if I wandered around the rare by myself, so I had two options. One is to calmly return to the room and observe Rube’s sleeping face.

And the other is to take a walk outside the rare. Even now, Arjen was extremely anxious about me going out alone, but as long as my current personality is Rube, there won’t be any problems.

This is because Rube accommodated my convenience at his own discretion, as long as it was an act that Arjen had once permitted. The last time I was able to meet a beastman bundle merchant named Usinante was possible because Rube allowed me to go out while he was sorting out the treasures in the rare.

    ‘Okay, let’s go out.’

I went outside like yesterday, thinking that it would be more pleasant to pass the time by taking a walk outside, where the surrounding environment changes all the time, rather than being stuck at home.

    “Hmm~ The air is nice.”

No matter how much it is a forest, if you wander around it, you will become familiar with the scenery and get used to it. Nevertheless, the reason I prefer outside is because things like the wind passing by my skin or the clouds moving in the sky change my mood.

‘If I go too far, something might happen like last time, so I’ll have to wander around nearby.’

Although it wasn’t decided through conversation, it was safe to say that the outings I was permitted to do were limited to the range within which I could see the entrance to the lair. Of course, that was enough. There is no shortage of observing flowers, trees, or insects in the grass.

    “…This isn’t a bug?”

As the grass in the field shook in a path as if someone had touched it, I dug into the grass to see if there were any grasshoppers, but what came out was not an insect.

    “Wow! Wow, what a surprise!”

The identity of the small, startled creature looking at me was a small girl with translucent wings. The figure, with long gray hair and white cloth wrapped around its body, was similar to but different from a dryad, making it look like some kind of fairy or spirit.

    “Huh…? What are you?”

Unlike the dryad that played hide and seek with me, the spirit in front of me seemed to be able to communicate clearly. It wasn’t like we were having a conversation like a person to person, but it felt like the meaning of an incomprehensible sound was naturally understood in my head, like Arjen’s idiom. When asked about my identity, I thought for a moment and then opened my mouth.

“Uh… My name is Eugene. I’m human.”

However, this was an answer I came up with because I didn’t feel the need to go around bragging to such a free spirit that I was Arjen’s favorite doll. The problem is, this kid completely denied my answer.

“Haha! It’s a lie, right? You can’t feel any mana, right?”

This little spirit poking my sore spot continued to tilt its head as if wondering about my existence. She looked at me intently and said.

“Ugh…? But isn’t it strange? That’s how it looks.”

Then he poked my cheek with his finger.

“And the texture… Can you excuse me for a moment?”

When she asked for my understanding, I nodded and then she gestured into the air. Then, to my surprise, a sharp wind suddenly arose and tore a very shallow 2 mm piece of skin on my hand. A sensation that was embarrassing to even be described as tingling passed by for a moment.

“Blood is shed…! Sorry, you’re human!”

The spirit blew hard at the wound on the back of my hand with its small mouth. Then, surprisingly, the cut completely disappeared.

“I am a sylph. It’s so nice to meet you, human!”

Silph is the spirit of the wind. Of course, anyone could see that it looked like a spirit, and since the wind scratched my hand, it was easy to infer that it was a wind spirit without having to reveal its identity.

The only thing that caught me off guard was that, contrary to my preconceived notions about spirits, they approached me, a human, without hesitation. The sylph must have sensed my doubts and behaved friendly toward me while maintaining a smile.

“You are very comfortable. It must be very popular with spirits? How many spirits have you signed a contract with so far?”

A crush for no reason. No, there can be no reason. It’s just that I don’t realize why. The only thing that made me different from others was that I came from a different world, so I thought maybe that was the reason.

Since I asked a question, I had to answer it, so I slowly shook my head.

“There are no spirits that have made a contract.”

The moment I said those words, I saw an expression of joy flash across that small face. Just like that dryad from last time, it seemed clear that there was some reason why the spirits liked me.

“Keuhum, khum! Uh… Anyway, nice to meet you! If you have some free time, would you like to hang out for a while?”

I was suddenly hunted by a Sylph who kept clearing her throat, probably because she was embarrassed to show her happy expression in public. I shook my head without any hesitation.

“Sorry. I have time, but I can’t leave this area for a reason. Next time we get a chance, let’s play together.”

The Sylph seemed very shocked by my answer, probably not expecting her to refuse. No, just looking at his expression, he was almost on the verge of crying.

    “Uh…? Yeah, really? That’s such a shame…”

Even though he was clearly not speaking with his vocal cords, it was very sad to hear that his voice had subsided. Afterwards, I was startled when tears like chicken shit started rolling down my cheeks in earnest and I hurriedly comforted the sylph.

“Woo, don’t cry! It’s not just today, right? Because we can definitely meet again next time.”

“Sniff! No, it’s hard. Because I am ‘wind’. You can’t stay in one place for too long…”

When I heard Sylph’s words, I remembered the contents of a book I read before. It was a book about spirits. It said that spirits are mysterious beings that have will and emotions by mixing mana with natural objects or natural phenomena, and that they are closer to living natural phenomena than to ordinary living creatures.

In other words, it was natural for Sylph, the spirit of the wind, to wander from place to place like the wind. For her, literally today is her only day.

“Umm… How… Is there really no way?”

The Sylph’s expression was so different from that of someone who lost their country that it was impossible to just ignore it and say there was nothing they could do. She muttered in a voice that sounded like ants crawling around.

“…You can stay if you sign a contract…”

aha. It seemed like if they signed a contract with me, they could stay around me. If I make a contract with this spirit in front of me, will I become a spiritist? It was a wonderful thing, but unfortunately, it was also something I couldn’t do on my own.

The problem was that since I was from a different world, I didn’t know anything. I needed to clearly know what the pros and cons of a contract with a spirit were.

And since hearing it from the spirit’s own mouth would only produce good-sounding sounds, someone was needed to judge it objectively. And at that moment, I felt a sign of popularity coming from Rare. It seemed like Luv had finally woken up.
