Chapter Index

    Wheein, wheein.

The noise of the hair dryer drying my damp hair drowns out the sound of the television.

Puffy cheeks filled with discontent, unable to hear a single sound from the animation.

But, under Amy’s gentle touch, he begins to nod off.

The discontent that had been building up in my mouth disappeared in an instant.

    “Jeff. Stay still.”

My head shakes back and forth, but Amy’s hands don’t leave my body still.

    “Ugh… .”

The moment I slipped out of Amy’s arms, my body collapsed onto the bed.

    A gaze that is blurred.

Shine is seen lying on the bed being dragged away by Amy.

She too could not escape Amy’s touch.

An inexplicable smile appears on my face as I look at her drying her hair.

Shine, who had been writhing in Amy’s arms, soon gives up and falls to her knees.

“Amy is having a hard time.”

At that moment, Rain, who had just finished showering alone, said while wiping her hair.

“Would you like to do it too?”

Amy smiled subtly as she watched Rain like that.

    Rain’s face instantly turns red.

    Moaning lips.

A shallow breath escaped from his slightly open mouth, as if trying to say something.

    “No…!”

Lane shook his head and raised his finger to the sky.

Before I could question Rain’s sudden actions, water droplets began to rise from his damp hair.

The water droplets flying into the sky gathered at Rain’s fingertips.

    “Wow… .”

As I looked at her in admiration, she seemed to sense my gaze and made a confident expression.

    “How is it?”

    “It would be comfortable… .”

Rain’s hair looked fluffy, as if it had been dried with a hair dryer.

She draped a towel over the sphere of water that had gathered in the air.

The towel quickly absorbed the moisture and fell to the floor.

    “Rain.”

    “Huh?”

Amy, who was drying Shine’s hair, said to Lane.

“Can you please help the kids with their studies?”

    “Study?”

    “Yeah.”

As I was listening to the conversation between the two, I immediately shook my head to shake off the sleepiness.

Immediately after I got out of the blanket that was wrapped around my body, I walked slowly towards the place where the workbook was.

Shine was half asleep, and Lane and Amy were too busy talking to pay attention to me.

“Will I be able to do well? It’s been so long since I studied that I don’t remember much.”

“Don’t worry too much. Just grade the workbook.”

    “Okay… .”

Lane slowly nods at Amy’s request.

I immediately jumped up and snatched the workbook from the high shelf.

A solid weight is felt at your fingertips.

    I immediately turned my body.

The centrifugal force of a half-turn rotation is transmitted to the fingertips.

    Whoosh!

    puck!

    The end of power.

The moment the rotation ends, put the workbook out of your hand.

The workbook that had popped out like that flew into a corner of the room where there were a lot of dolls and landed there.

    “Jeff?”

    “Yes… ?”

At that moment, Amy’s voice was suddenly heard.

I answered with difficulty, turning my stiff head.

    “What are you doing there?”

    Boom boom boom.

    My heart starts beating fast.

I wiggled my toes and desperately tried to come up with an excuse.

“Uh… I was going to drink milk.”

It was a pretty good answer.

I nodded and walked to the refrigerator.

The movements that had been stiff begin to slowly loosen up.

“Me too. I want to drink too.”

At that moment, Shine, who had been sleeping, suddenly woke up and ran to me.

Her flowing white hair gave off a strong shampoo scent.

I walked over to the refrigerator and took out a large, cold carton of milk.

Shine runs to the kitchen with a familiar movement and comes back with a cup to drink milk from.

But the number of cups was different than usual.

The number of cups in her arms is three.

    “You should drink rain too.”

Shine answered, sensing my suspicious gaze.

    Only then did I nod.

    Rain was also short.

Since you need to drink milk to grow tall, it was natural to take a cup for Rain, who was short.

    “Me… ?”

    “Yeah.”

Rain got up from his seat with a bewildered expression and came towards us.

    Me and Shine Rain.

The three of them stand facing each other and start pouring milk.

I licked my tongue as I looked at the cup full of milk.

I couldn’t stand the rich aroma of milk.

The three of them holding cups began to drink the milk without saying who would go first.

Gulp, gulp. All I can hear is the sound of milk flowing.

First, Shine, who had finished drinking, puts down the cup.

She said, licking the milk that was slightly on her lips.

    “Are you taller now?”

“If drinking milk could make you grow, Rain would be as tall as Amy.”

Rain’s body trembles at my answer.

She put down the cup and started staring at the milk carton on the floor.

    “More… . I’ll drink more!”

She snatches the milk carton and starts drinking it all.

Shine and I just stood there dumbfounded at Rain’s sudden actions.

The entire contents of a large milk carton are poured into her stomach.

A belly that is becoming more and more convex.

I reached out and poked Lane’s stomach with my finger.

    “Ouch!”

Startled by the sudden sensation, Rain jumped up in surprise.

At that moment, the milk carton in Rain’s hand flew into the air.

White milk starting to spray in all directions.

Rain also spit out the milk he had been holding in his mouth.

    “Gasp… .”

The milk carton that fell on the floor continued to spill milk with a gurgling sound.

The three of us, who were moving to avoid the milk coming towards our feet, began to watch Amy’s expression.

Amy just looked at us without saying a word.

    “Rain did it… .”

I grabbed Shine’s hand and slowly started to pull myself away.

Rain’s eyes looking at me shook violently.

I ignored her gaze and went to sit in front of the television with Shine.

As if I had never drank milk in the first place.

Amy looked back and forth between the three of us, sighed deeply, and wiped the milk away.

“Anyway, I have to go out for a bit now. I’ll ask the kids to study.”

Amy said to Lane before she went out the front door.

Lane nodded, sticking out his chest as if asking for someone to leave it to him.

“I’ll be back before lunch time.”

With those words, Amy left the room.

The room was left with only three people in it.

The sound coming from the television echoed throughout the room.

    “Okay, then shall we study?”

I kept my mouth shut and didn’t answer.

    “Where is the workbook?”

    Shine answered Rain’s question.

She pointed to a high shelf.

Rain looked up at the height of the shelf, then pulled up a chair next to the table and stood on it.

    “Is this the right place?”

Lane begins to carefully examine the shelves.

But it was clear that she wouldn’t be able to find the workbook.

    Because I hid that workbook!

    “It’s not here?”

    “Be there.”

Rain, who had been looking over the shelf, said as he got down from his chair.

At that sight, Shine jumped up and ran to Rain’s side.

Shine also climbs up on the chair and looks over the shelf.

But even if Shine went, there was no way she could find it.

    “Jeff~”

Shine called me while standing on the chair.

    “Huh?”

    “Haven’t you seen the workbook?”

    “Yeah. I haven’t seen it.”

    “Really?”

    Shine likes to study.

I answered, avoiding her gaze, feeling guilty for no reason.

    “Uh… . Yeah… . I didn’t see you today.”

    “Really?”

    Shine’s voice full of questions.

She jumped down from the chair with a small sigh.

    “What should I do?”

Rain and Shine are in trouble.

The two put their heads together and thought about it for a long time.

They started searching all over the room for their workbooks.

    “Jeff help me too.”

Shine spoke to me, who was blankly watching the two people’s movements.

I got up from my seat with a start and started pretending to look for my workbook like the other two people.

A cold sweat runs down my back.

    My head starts spinning quickly.

How can I spend today safely without studying?

As I was walking slowly and thinking, I was able to discover a slightly open drawer.

    “Picture… !”

    “Huh?”

    “Study drawing!”

I reached out and opened the drawer in a hurry.

    A large sketchbook contained within.

I took out my sketchbook, crayons, and various colored pencils and laid them out on the floor.

    “Studying art?”

Shine asked with a puzzled expression.

    I nodded.

I heard that there was a study period at school to learn how to draw.

    I’ve never been there though.

    “Rain. Let’s study drawing.”

Rain gave me a subtle look at my words.

“Of course we had art time… .”

I reached out and sat Shine and Rain down.

Rain, who was reluctant to draw, became excited and started drawing when crayons were put in his hand.

Shine also lay down on the floor and started drawing.

After moving her hands for a while, she started asking me questions.

    “Jeff.”

    “Yeah.”

    “Jeff doesn’t like studying?”

    “Yeah. It’s too difficult.”

    “Was it that difficult?”

    “Yeah.”

    “I see.”

Shine’s hand, which had been drawing for a long time, stops.

She looked up at me and said,

“Would I like studying if it got a little easier?”

    A sudden question.

I was lying on the floor, so I carefully raised my body.

“Well… . Maybe I liked it more than I do now?”

Shine nodded slowly at my answer.

The picture drawn by three people at the same time was a mess.

    Water pouring from the sky.

    A huge mountain of garbage.

A pretty house with a red roof.

There were a lot of people scattered on the street.

    “What is this?”

I muttered as I looked at the finished painting.

    It was a total mess.

    Anyway, this concludes my studies.

    “Studying is over!”

I jumped up from my seat.

    “It’s over already?”

Rain, who had been sitting blankly, looked back at Shine as if asking if this was okay.

    But Shine just nodded.

As I was about to run to the computer, I was stopped by Shine grabbing my arm.

    “Why?”

    “There’s something I didn’t do today.”

I began to recall her words.

    What didn’t you do today?

I just finished my studies and received training.

    What’s left?

    “Gymnastics.”

    “Ouch… !”

At Shine’s words, Rain and I stood there with our mouths open in a daze.

    I forgot.

    “Gymnastics is very important.”

    Rain and I nodded blankly.

As Shine said, gymnastics was very important.

To grow tall like Amy, gymnastics was essential.

    “Let’s get started.”

We walked to a suitable space and started doing exercises.

    One, two. One, two.

Spin around and around, stretching out your arms and legs.

The repetitive exercises based on memory seemed quite far removed from the content of the original YouTube channel.

    “Isn’t this it?”

    During gymnastics.

As I stopped and spoke, Rain and Shine also stopped moving.

    “Isn’t this it?”

    “Yeah.”

I went straight to the computer and pressed the power button.

After a short while, the computer finished booting.

I go to YouTube as usual and go to the channel I subscribed to.

A gymnastics video that was played like that.

As expected, our gymnastics was quite different from the one in the video.

    “Do it again.”

So I started the exercise again from the beginning while watching the video again.
