My older sister, who was standing behind me, held out her hand. Rather than judging by myself, it would be much better to check with Sohye and my senior, right? But no matter how I look at this place, it doesn’t seem like an ordinary aquarium…

After handing the notice to my sister, the three of us put our heads together and started reading the first page of the notice together.

Once again, thank you for visiting OO Aquarium. Our OO Aquarium is a very large aquarium with a total of 3 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, where you can see various species collected from all over the world.

Our OO Aquarium has a total of 9 theme zones and 3 performances prepared for our visitors. After you have finished the tour, there is a souvenir shop at the exit where you can purchase souvenirs, so please take advantage of it.

The theme zones and amenities available on each floor are as follows.

First floor above ground – main water tank, lobby, information desk, rest room, security room, medical room

2nd floor above ground – Five Color Garden, Our Garden, with Penguins

3rd floor above ground – Deep Blue Sea, a peaceful marine village, they are in my imagination

Basement 1st floor – Undersea tunnel, medical room

Basement 2 – Quiet deep sea

Next, we will guide you through the safety rules that must be followed at our aquarium. Please be sure to understand these rules as they are the top priority in any theme zone.

1. Please do not irritate the creatures.

Except for some theme zones, please refrain from knocking on the tank or making loud noises. Basically, the water tank is made of special glass, so the outside cannot be seen from the inside. However, they react very sensitively to sounds and stimuli, so loud noises other than simple conversations only alert them of your presence.

2. Photography is prohibited inside the aquarium.

As with item 1, the act of taking a photo only makes your presence known. The souvenir shop has a variety of products, so please feel free to regret not being able to take a commemorative photo.

3. All employees are wearing black vests.

If an employee wearing a white or blue vest approaches you, please politely decline and say that you do not need any help. If an employee of a different color continues to leave despite your polite refusal, please ask an employee in a black vest for assistance.

4. Possession or consumption of food or smoking is prohibited inside the theme zone.

The creatures inside the tank are very sensitive to smells. If you are really hungry and cannot stand it, please eat at the security room on the first floor. You must not leave the security room under any circumstances until one hour has passed since you consumed food. Smoking is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.

5. There is no elevator in our aquarium. Please keep this in mind.

1st floor above ground – main water tank

This is the theme zone that is the pride of our aquarium and receives the most favorable reviews from visitors. The huge aquarium visible as soon as you enter the entrance, the various species swimming within it, and the overwhelming size of the whale shark will fill visitors with excitement.

1. There are no other theme zones on the first floor except for the large water tank. Even if the staff says there is a theme zone with cute fish, please ignore it.

2. Inside the large aquarium, various tropical species and whale sharks are swimming leisurely. However, if you see a species moving in a way that makes it difficult for your eyes to follow, please let the staff know. Our staff will take care of it quickly.

3. Whale sharks are very gentle and friendly to humans. If the whale shark is not swimming normally but rather flips over and flaps its fins, quickly get out of the tank. He is warning you of your weakness.

4. Whale sharks do not harm other living species. If he opens his mouth and feasts on other creatures swimming in the tank, call the staff and close his eyes. A staff member will hold your shoulder and quietly guide you to the second floor.

2nd floor above ground – Five Color Garden, our garden, with penguins!

The second floor is mainly comprised of an experience zone where you can touch and see various species. All species are made up of safe species that do not pose a fatal risk to humans, so we hope you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

1. Five Color Garden

Five Color Gardens are made up of cute fish that are raised by professional aquarists and are not afraid of human hands. Please put your hands in the water and touch the fish to your heart’s content, then wipe your hands with the hand towel provided nearby.

However, if there are black fish swimming inside the tank, please call a staff member. That fish is a species that should not exist in Five Color Garden.

2. Our garden

Our garden is a tank made up of only species that grow naturally in OOOO. A variety of native fish are on display, ranging from species that are easily encountered such as snakehead and catfish to fish that are not commonly seen such as tungsiri, river stone fish, and miho jonggae.

While viewing the aquarium, there are times when fish with large mouths and olive-colored backs fight with snakehead fish. If the snake eats the fish, it is okay to continue watching, but if the snake eats the fish, please quickly leave the tank. The tank is being invaded by invasive species.

3. With penguins!

With Penguins is a theme zone where cute penguins gather and you can watch the penguin show, one of the performances that our aquarium is proud of. Please enjoy the fantastic combination and show of many cute penguins and their keepers.

1. When watching a penguin show, please only applaud when the show begins and ends and the zookeeper prompts you to applaud.

2. Sometimes the zookeeper appears wearing penguin doll clothes. In such cases, a separate killer whale show will be held, so please watch the cute killer whales being fed.

3rd floor above ground – Deep Blue Sea, a peaceful marine village, them in imagination

The third floor consists of two theme zones: Deep Blue Sea, where the Little Mermaid, who manages and operates our aquarium, lives, and a theme zone where you can see extinct species. Please do not displease the Little Mermaid.

1. Deep Blue Sea

At Deep Blue Sea, you can watch a fantastic mermaid show. Please enjoy watching the creatures that faithfully follow the Little Mermaid’s orders dance and sing in harmony inside the huge aquarium.

1-1. If the Little Mermaid is looking at you, say hello politely. The Little Mermaid likes polite people.

1-2. If the mermaid tries to lead you into the tank, politely thank her. You have been chosen.

2. Peaceful maritime village

In the marine village, you can see various types of crustaceans moving around in groups. If the crustacean is shedding its skin during your visit, congratulations. Our staff will pick out molting crustaceans and quickly cook them to provide you with fresh and delicious food.

3. Them in my imagination

In their imagination, species that are already extinct and can no longer be seen are on display. Please take a look at their fantastic images that our staff managed to capture through a difficult process.

In your imagination, you can see numerous extinct species such as trilobites and ammonites. However, if you feel something huge approaching from beyond the tank, quickly move to the Deep Blue Sea, bow to the Little Mermaid and ask her a favor. If you like it, the Little Mermaid will save you.

After reading only up to the third floor, I gave up reading any more notices. Really, putting aside the ridiculously long content… this was absolutely, absolutely not an ordinary aquarium.

“Sister…if I leave right now, won’t I be able to go back?”

It’s a shame that I can’t visit the aquarium, but I still can’t visit such a dangerous place… I thought today would be a fun date, but why do I keep getting caught up in things like this, including the hospital…

“Huh? Why are you going back?”

But Sohye was still perusing the notice. Seeing Yui-senpai also looking at them while taking notes, it seemed like the two of them had no intention of going back for some reason.

“This isn’t an ordinary aquarium, right…? Dating is important, but it can be done in other places as well…”

“Still, Sihyeon, don’t you want to see the aquarium? If you just look at what is written on the notice here, it looks like there is a lot to see.”

“But…”

“Then, don’t worry and have fun walking around. If the three of us walk around together, nothing dangerous will happen!”

I covered the notice and my sister and senior held my hands. The two people were smiling brightly, and it seemed like some of the anxiety was washed away.

“Is it really okay?”

“Please don’t worry about your juniors and feel free to visit the aquarium to your heart’s content. Didn’t I tell you that today’s date is a great reward for my junior?”

Eventually, I was led by two people into the aquarium. I was still a little anxious, but seeing the two people smiling pretty and saying they were okay gave me a feeling that things would be resolved easily.
