Chapter Index

The treasure vault holds many items.

    However.

    Most of them are junk.

In Prophecy RPG, there are way too many items that can’t be equipped—whether because the size doesn’t fit, the gender is mismatched, or the attributes don’t align.

    …That said,

Most of these problems can be solved with the Holy Grail of Sacrifice.

    [Fairy Armor (Male)]

    “Change!”

    [Fairy Armor (Female)]

    “Ria.”

    “I’ll give this to you.”

    “W-wow…”

    “It’s sooo pretty…”

    [Fairy Armor]

    Its defense is practically paper-thin,

But it’s lightweight, comfortable to wear, and greatly enhances magical abilities.

If worn by a wind-attribute wielder, it grants the Fairy’s Wind buff, allowing high-speed movement.

If worn by a water-attribute wielder, it grants the Fairy’s Dew buff, enabling automatic HP recovery.

If worn by an earth-attribute wielder, it grants the Fairy’s Grace buff, enabling automatic MP recovery.

If worn by a light-attribute wielder, it grants the Fairy’s Light buff, increasing all stats.

‘It’s the perfect outfit for Ria.’

    Low defense?

    She’s an infinite-defense character anyway.

As a wielder of all attributes, she can receive every buff effect.

    And it’s a pretty outfit.

‘Despite being called armor, it’s more like a dress fairies would wear.’

    It’s somewhat revealing,

    A flowing, ethereal garment.

    “Master!”

The fabric is so thin that Ria’s skin is vividly palpable.

    ‘Gyaaaaah!’

‘By the rivers and mountains, enduring for eternity—!’

The outfit was so devastating that the national anthem involuntarily played in my head.

    “Master?”

    “Ah… Uhh… Well…”

    “Kain~”

    “Your face is all red~”

    “Hey, you!”

    “I’m joining in too! Hup!”

Now, even Alice was clinging tightly to me.

    “Y-you… You!”

    “What?”

    “Put some clothes on!”

    “I am wearing clothes.”

    “That’s just underwear!”

    “So what?”

“Kain’s going to be my husband anyway.”

    “Th-that might not happen!”

“Well, if it’s not you, there’s no one else I’d marry~”

    “This much is fine~”

    “Ah!”

    “Then me too, me too!”

Ria also started stripping, doubling down on the seduction.

    Ah.

My partner has opened her eyes.

    “All of you, scram!”

    “Kain!”

    “Master!”

“I’m going to recharge the Holy Grail of Sacrifice, so don’t you dare follow me!”

    Yes.

    This is my limit.

If two beautiful girls are dead set on seducing me, I’ll die if I don’t take a step back to cool off.

    “Kain!”

    “I’ll help you!”

    “Get lost!”

    “Uuu!”

    “A real man!”

“If protecting my purity for the woman I love means being called a real man, I’ll take it any day!”

    “Tch.”

Alice reluctantly let go of Kain, looking disappointed.

While Kain took some time alone, Ria and Alice checked their equipped items.

Ria’s equipment: Fairy Armor, Fairy Sword

    Sacrificing defense,

    Maximizing mobility.

    Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

She could dart around as fast as the wind.

    Bang! Bang! Bang!

With her magic amplified, she could move faster than the eye could follow.

    Swish-swish-swish!

Even her sword was so swift that Alice couldn’t react.

    “Wow…”

    “Is this the Hero’s power?…”

    Alice was amazed.

In terms of pure swordsmanship, Ria wasn’t exceptionally skilled.

    But.

Her physical abilities overshadowed everything else.

    Technique?

Matters when humans fight each other,

But means nothing when an ant fights a human.

    …That’s how it felt.

“So this incredibly strong Hero was just acting like a crybaby in front of Kain, refusing to fight?”

    “Heheh…”

    “So?”

    “Planning to keep that up?”

    “W-well…”

“If it seems dangerous, I’ll fight…”

“But if it doesn’t, I just want to stick close to Kain?”

    Nod nod

    “Sigh…”

“So you’re saying I’ll have to do all the work…”

    “C-can you handle it?…”

    “You’re making me do everything?”

“When Master isn’t looking, I’ll fight hard too!”

    “What about the crybaby act?”

    “Th-that’s…”

“Even without the act, I can still cling to Kain.”

    “But…”

“Master only pats me with that soothing look when I’m crying…”

“So you want to keep acting to get that?”

    “Yeah…”

    “Well…”

“If that’s what you like, I guess there’s no helping it.”

    “You understand?”

“That warm patting, those gentle eyes—it feels nice, right?”

    “Exactly!”

“Master looks so cool when he does that… Hehe… Hahaha…”

Ria drooled a little, lost in happiness.

Kain once said Ria’s feelings weren’t romantic love, more like deep friendship.

    But.

From my perspective, that’s not true.

    She genuinely loves him.

    ‘That’s why it’s such a shame.’

If Kain’s one true love weren’t in the picture, we’d have a chance.

‘No, more than just a chance.’

His guard would’ve been weak enough to fall within a day.

    But.

    I’d never consider eliminating her.

‘Kain researched and even possessed someone just to save the woman he loves.’

    What if she hadn’t existed?

Kain might not have gone that far.

    We might never have met.

    …Thinking about it, I can’t resent her.

    ‘Sigh…’

    ‘I wanted a passionate one-on-one romance with a man like Kain…’

But the man I love loves someone else.

    Monopoly was impossible.

    So.

    I’ve made peace with this.

‘Being a harem heroine is a much better ending than a rejected one.’

    Other men?

    Not worth considering.

Kain is the one who saved my life.

    Since I’ve already been saved,

The chance of another man doing the same is near zero.

    So.

The option of seeking someone else doesn’t exist.

I’ll cling to him and become a harem member.

    ‘I’ll stick tight.’

    ‘I’ve heard the future if I don’t.’

If I don’t secure Kain, it’s the rejected heroine ending.

A life of wandering alone, drowning in alcohol.

    Or maybe not?

Would Ria still be by my side?

    Not sure.

    But.

No matter the future, I refuse the rejected heroine route.

    That’s why I’m pushing harder.

    I’ll raise my affection points.

If he disliked this, my advances would backfire.

    ‘But Kain doesn’t.’

    ‘He likes it every time.’

At first, he held back because of his love for another,

    But his fondness was obvious.

    ‘For now, that’s enough.’

    I won’t take his purity.

    I’d love to,

But forcing it would be the worst.

    So I pondered something else.

‘Who else is in Kain’s harem?…’

    This mattered too.

I’m willing to accept any number,

    And I won’t be jealous.

    But fewer wives are better.

    ‘Three are practically confirmed.’

    Me, Ria,

    And Kain’s beloved—three total.

‘Plus, three female Hero Party candidates.’

    The Saintess.

    The Elf Spirit Mage.

    The Catfolk Assassin.

    Six in all.

    ‘Beyond that…’

Kain researched the Hero and the eight Hero Party candidates the most.

Of the eight, four are male, four female.

    So, four heroine candidates.

    Five, including Ria.

    Six, including Kain’s love.

    No more.

    ‘There are allies, but…’

    Only briefly mentioned,

Not deeply analyzed like the candidates.

    So.

    Around six heroines max.

    ‘As for men…’

    ‘Hmm…’

    I doubt it.

He saved the male candidates too,

    But men loving men? Nonsense.

    ‘There’s that genre, but…’

    I imagined it.

What if a man fell for Kain?

    ‘That’d be absolute chaos.’

A demon, a Hero Party, and a goddess under one roof is already madness—

    Add a gay twist?

    ‘No way…’

    Kain would reject that.

    So.

    Six heroines max.

    ‘No more, right?’

For a moment, I thought of the Goddess of Light, Selena.

    ‘Probably not.’

Even if Kain’s amazing, a goddess joining the harem is absurd.

    So.

    No need to consider it.

    Six heroines are the limit.

Not every woman will love him.

    Could end at three.

    Minimum 3 ~ Maximum 6.

    A manageable size.

At least one date or passionate night with Kain per week—

    “Gulp…”

    I drooled.

As someone who gave up on men—on people—due to magic overload,

Now, I can live with others.

    Thus, desires emerged.

Twenty years of suppressed cravings began stirring.

    ‘Wait…’

‘If I have no other wish… Why not use it on Kain?…’

    I pondered.

What if we split Kain into six, one for each?

    ‘No…’

    ‘That wouldn’t be Kain.’

    I don’t want a doll mimicking him.

    I want the man himself.

    ‘Then…’

What if I wished for infinite stamina and recovery?

    ‘Oh…’

    ‘Not bad…’

A man so strong he could handle six wives without exhaustion.

    No unsatisfied nights.

    ‘Or…’

    I kept thinking.

What wish would make married life happier?

    “Alice?”

    “What are you thinking about?”

“What wish would make life with Kain happier?”

    “A wish?”

    Ria didn’t have one either.

Meeting her mother was her wish,

    But Master fulfilled it.

    So.

Any remaining wish should be for him.

    Thus, we brainstormed together.

    “I’ll think about it too.”

    “Good.”

    “Let’s brainstorm.”

And so, Ria and Alice pondered how to “improve” Kain with their wishes.
