by adminComments were left on an old post.
The meaning was simple.
It meant that someone had gone through my posts, all the way back to my oldest post, and left a comment.
So, it could be interpreted as having something to say to me.
Therefore, I cautiously clicked on the notification to check the old post.
With Hartz in front of me, I replied while checking the gallery.
As naturally as possible.

[Title: What are these guys really doing?]
[Content: (Photo) LOL the security guards are gathering right now, and the mice are mating while hiding. What is this..]
L: Ugh, damn, disgusting
L: Why would you post something like this
L: Truly legendary
L: This guy is seriously messed up, just blocked him
ㄴRealTrash: If you block me, I’ll come to your house and poop
ㄴ: Oh, it seems real so scary lol
These were the original comments that were there.
And the most recent comment.
LegendaryMercenary: Are you Eugene?
Seeing that comment made my body tremble.
How did they know my true identity?
The name Eugene wasn’t common, and unless they had thoroughly researched me, it was information they couldn’t have known.
So, I immediately replied to the comment.
ㄴRealTrash: No.
I replied as coolly as possible.
As if I wasn’t interested in this topic.
After replying coolly, another comment came immediately.
ㄴLegendaryMercenary: Alright
What’s going on.
Who is this person.
Suddenly mentioning my real name and then saying ‘alright.’
I didn’t understand.
So, I waited a bit longer, but no more comments were posted.
Thinking about it, I replied.
“Well… but when exploring elsewhere, it’s usually standard to have a team of four, right? We only have three.”
“That’s not a problem! People can be found, so it’s fine.”
This seemed like something to think about.
No matter how much profit increased, I didn’t have the confidence to follow a paladin all the way to the end.
Of course, going to the end would surely increase profits, but…
It seemed right to ask Donatas, who was drinking the beer I had frozen.
“Hey, Donatas.”
“Yeah? What is it.”
“What do you think about Hartz’s proposal?”
Upon hearing my question, Donatas paused his beer-drinking and soon replied.
“Well, of course we should go! Dwarves naturally enjoy such challenges.”
“Oh, okay.”
I didn’t ask a dwarf, but perhaps asking the gallery would be better.
Even though there were some normal people on the gallery.
So, I wrote a post.

[Title: What do you think about teaming up with a paladin?]
[Content: The paladin wants to go monster hunting together, what do you think? Their skills are quite good.]
After posting, comments quickly flooded in.
Usually, comments came in quickly, but today it felt even faster.
Thinking about it, I checked the comments.

[Title: What do you think about teaming up with a paladin?]

L: We have to go, we must go
ㄴ: Seriously, not going?
ㄴ: Get your balls together, seriously
ㄴ: Why remove the balls lol
ㄴ: You were born a man and now you’re refusing to go monster hunting? Seriously… I feel like slapping you
LPerus: It’s right to go. Adventuring paladins usually have excellent skills.
ㄴPerus: If there’s an opportunity, it’s better to go and improve your skills.
ㄴPerus: In reality, many paladins are making great contributions in Kultum, so the front line is not falling behind.
ㄴ: Ah, damn it, this nerd adventurer is blabbering on and on. It’s annoying.
ㄴPerus: Give me the coordinates. I’ll find it.
ㄴPerus: Why no response?
ㄴ: LOL, scaredy-cat LOL
The veteran adventurer who always hangs out in the gallery gave me some tips.
I could say I was fortunate.
I was worried about what I would do if that person didn’t leave a comment.
Feeling fortunate, I left a reply.
ㄴReallyAnnoying: Thank you for always replying.
And then, a quick reply.
ㄴPerus: It’s nothing.
ㄴ: It’s really nothing.
ㄴPerus:..Call the coordinates.
ㄴ: He says he’s angry LOL
It seemed like other people were living for the thrill of teasing the veteran adventurer.
I guess you could say the response was good.
But I didn’t tease him.
He was someone who provided me with good information.
There was no reason to tease him.
Rather, I should treat him well.
With that thought in mind, I spoke to Hartz, who was waiting for a reply in front of me.
“Well then.. I know someone, can I bring them along?”
“Um, alright. Are they skilled? It doesn’t matter much, but since the place we’re going to is quite dangerous, you know!”
I was planning to ask Teron.
I also considered taking Violet, but it seemed risky for a woman to go to such a dangerous place, so I decided to postpone it.
If Teron refused, I would have no choice but to take Violet.
With that thought in mind, I said, “Let’s meet here again tomorrow. I’ll convince them to come.”
“Alright!”
And so we parted ways.
Hartz didn’t seem to love alcohol as much as Donas did.
He liked it, but not as much as Donas, or so it seemed.
With that thought in mind, I headed to the Harang Inn.
I had to convince Teron.
Well, convincing him didn’t seem that difficult.
Teron also needed to earn money.
I needed to earn money too.
If I were to live in an inn in this city, I wouldn’t know, but if I bought a house, I would have to pay taxes from that moment on.
That included me too.
So, I had to pay taxes too.
Although I felt a bit regretful about paying all the deposit to Elysia earlier, it was already done.
So, I decided to let it go.
Creak-!
Carefully opening the door of the Harang Inn, I saw a familiar face working as a waiter.
So, I greeted him warmly.
Teron also recognized me.
Even though I was wearing a robe, he seemed to recognize me.
I called Teron and he approached.
“Um, were you here to order something?”
“Ah, would you mind sitting down for a moment? I have something to tell you.”
When I said I had something to tell Teron, he sat down and stared at me intently.
Of course, I couldn’t meet his eyes because I was wearing a robe.
“What did you want to say?”
Teron asked, stroking his clean head.
So, I got to the point.
“By any chance, would you be interested in participating in this request? The members are me, Donas, and a holy knight.”
“…A holy knight?”
When I mentioned the holy knight, Teron’s reaction became awkward.
It was as if he had heard something he didn’t want to hear.
So, I was a little taken aback.
To suddenly show such a reaction.
“I… I’m not really fond of holy knights. I had a bad experience in the past, so…”
“Ah… I see.”
“Sorry, but I don’t think I can do it. Maybe someone with a different profession, but a holy knight seems really out of the question for me.”
“It’s okay, then I’ll-”
“Since you’re already here, why not have a meal before you leave?”
“…Really?”
Honestly, I just wanted to leave, but since I was already here, it wouldn’t hurt to help increase Teron’s restaurant sales.
Following Teron’s pick, I completed the order.
One soup, one bread, and a beer.
In this world, beer was on par with water.
That’s why there was always beer on the menu.
But then.
“Mind if I join you?”
A familiar face approached me.
With a small scar on her face, she was a woman who couldn’t hide her appearance.
It was Violet.
“Oh? What brings you here?”
“I came here last time and the food was so good that I find myself coming back often. Mr. Teron also gives great service.”
Teron providing good service was surprising.
Honestly, I didn’t think Teron would be the type to provide good service.
Thinking it was strange, I decided to bring up the main topic since we were meeting like this.
But first, let’s order some food.
“Then, please give me another of the same. I’ll pay for this one.”
“What are you talking about? You paid last time. This time, I’ll pay.”
“Oh, it’s okay. I want to treat you this time.”
“Well, then, next time, I’ll pay.”
“Sure, sure.”
Seeing Violet looking subtly pleased, I chuckled inwardly and started to bring up the main topic.
“By any chance, do you have any plans lately?”
“Hmm? No, I don’t.”
“Oh.. I see.”
“Why, is something going on?”
As we were talking, the food suddenly arrived.
It was time to get to the main point, so I spoke up.
“Would you be interested in joining a party of three, including me? We have a sturdy tank and a lightning-fast swordsman as teammates.”
I said without a hint of falsehood.
