Episode 31: Building Korean-style camaraderie activities (6)

    “Thank you…”

    “Hmm, it’s nothing.”

    A brief silence.

As Han Se-in stared intently, Jung Ah-young finally turned around.

No time to put on her panties.

She needed to do laundry, but there was nowhere suitable to do it.

Just endure for a day and she managed by sealing them in a black bag for now.

    Undoing her pants zipper,

she began wiping her still sticky private parts with wet wipes.

Even though some time had passed since the deed, that area was so sensitive that her body involuntarily trembled.

    “Phew.”

    “….”

    A shiver.

In the quiet forest, a faint moan echoed, causing Ah-young’s ears to turn increasingly red.

The sound of fabric brushing against skin.

Though not supernaturally acute, she could guess what he was up to.

The power of imagination was terrifying.

Recalling the earlier memory, Ah-young crossed her legs tightly.

I brought Han Se-in to climax!

Replaying the scene like a mad movie, Ah-young wore a satisfied smile.

    Then,

a voice flashed through her mind.

“What were you doing in there?”

    It was Kang Hyeon-a’s voice.

Am I crazy? Have I lost it?

Thinking back now, it was a nerve-wracking situation.

She couldn’t understand why she had crawled up there in the first place.

Yet, from deep within her heart, various emotions surged.

Jealousy and superiority towards Kang Hyeon-a.

Simultaneously, she felt anxiety creeping in.

The intent behind that question was akin to saying she had seen Han Se-in.

Ah-young asked in a chilly tone.

    “What… happened?”

    “Uh, well, I mean…?”

    “Be honest.”

“Kang Hyeon-a did come by, but…”

    Ah-young’s brows furrowed.

Did she leave and Kang Hyeon-a enter?

She recalled her last moments with Han Se-in.

“While I’m gone, keep your panties off…”

    Suddenly,

    Ah-young’s face contorted.

Please, please let it not be true.

    It’s not certain yet, right?

Taking deep breaths, Ah-young spoke again.

    “Really, really… nothing happened, right?”

    Anxiety.

    Desperation.

    And rage fueled by jealousy.

Was it because of Ah-young’s voice?

Or was it because she felt strangely distant today?

This wasn’t the usual hesitant, cautious Ah-young.

An oppressive voice seemed to corner her.

    Meeting Ah-young’s trembling gaze,

Han Se-in approached her, adjusting his pants.

    Please. Don’t say anything.

Just act normal. Just stay together like always.

It felt like he was whispering quietly.

Closer than when they used to walk side by side,

    Han Se-in clung desperately.

Though reason may fail, instinct understood.

    Ah-young said nothing.

But she couldn’t quell the raging emotions inside her.

    Ah-young towards Kang Hyeon-a.

    Kang Hyeon-a towards Ah-young.

Their positions, roles, and abilities differed,

    but their hearts were aligned.

Jealousy. And one thought directed towards each other.

I can’t bring myself to hate her even if I tried to kill her.

Beyond the roles of perpetrator and victim,

it was the sentiment of two women harboring feelings for the same man.

    “Let’s go.”

    “Yeah…”

    “Be careful.”

    Wobbling.

Her body too weak to even exercise.

Han Se-in’s body was that fragile.

Eventually, with Ah-young’s arms supporting him like a crutch, they could take steps forward.

    And then,

    How long had they walked?

With Han Se-in slowly recovering and Ah-young still embracing him, they faced Kang Hyeon-a.

    “….”

    “….”

    No words were exchanged.

    No growls either.

    Two women quietly locked eyes.

    They didn’t stop walking, however.

Although it seemed like she might break, Jeong A-yeong didn’t yield.

She could have given in at any moment, but Kang Hyeon-ah remained silent.

    Their steps continued.

    They headed towards their lodging.

Since the schedule wasn’t over yet, Kang Hyeon-ah held her ground.

Within the brief eye contact, no one could discern the emotions present.

    The lodging was empty.

Well, to be precise, there were people there.

Jeong A-yeong and Han Se-in, inseparable.

It was a gathering of Kim Hyeong-min’s group for drinks.

    “Noisy~”

    “Cheers…”

    There were no issues.

If one were to nitpick, they had set aside the schedule to have a drinking session among themselves?

    But who would say anything?

Among all the people on the MT, no one would dare speak up.

    They planned to enter cautiously.

Han Se-in felt that her body could handle it now.

Jeong A-yeong was the only one feeling regretful, thinking of taking a break separately.

    However…

Kim Hyeong-min did not leave them alone.

    His cheeks flushed.

With slightly unfocused eyes, he clearly seemed intoxicated to anyone.

Already having a bad temper and enjoying bothering others, adding alcohol to the mix was just perfect.

Jeong A-yeong felt her mind drift, but she managed to hold on.

Han Se-in knew she had to stay alert.

Though weaker in strength and more introverted compared to other women, knowing only about programming.

Still, she wanted to protect her man.

At least for now… or maybe not.

    “You guys should drink too.”

    “…Alright.”

    Avoiding conflict was key here.

Jeong A-yeong and Han Se-in nodded their heads.

    Never provoke a drunkard.

    Don’t ask for reasons.

Anyone who has ever conversed with a drunk person can relate to this story.

    And so…

Han Se-in and Jeong A-yeong found themselves at the drinking table.

Jeong A-yeong beside Park Hyo-rin who tormented her before.

Han Se-in among Kim Hyeong-min’s group, surrounded by women whose names she didn’t even know.

It was like sitting on pins and needles.

    Intense gazes from both sides.

Adding alcohol to an already tense situation made things even more uncomfortable.

    And then…

    Kim Hyeong-min’s new game began.

    “Shall we play a game?”

Kim Hyeong-min’s proposal was as follows.

    Named the “Handkerchief Game.”

When someone says “Fold!” the person named must fold.

The advantage and disadvantage of this game were…

You could send away someone you didn’t like.

    Total participants: 7.

Except for Jeong A-yeong and Han Se-in, the other 5 were practically on the same team.

Yet, no one voiced any objections.

Even though it was a spur-of-the-moment arrangement.

    It felt compulsory.

“Fold the person with red eyes.”

    Kim Hyeong-min chuckled.

    Han Se-in met his gaze.

    His smiling eyes held determination.

As if to say, “I will make sure to defeat you today.”

It was a smile filled with resolve and malice.

Starting with Kim Hyeong-min as the reference point, the questions began circling.

One round was enough for Han Se-in to get caught.

    “Drink!”

    Soju filled the glass.

    Han Se-in’s trembling eyes.

In a previous life, she had drunk to the point of exhaustion, but for some reason, she detested drinking now.

It felt as if drinking would bring back dreadful nightmares.

    Terrifying, truly terrifying.

    Han Se-in’s glass shook subtly.

    And then…

Amidst the malicious grin and manipulation,

    Jeong A-yeong’s voice echoed softly.

    “Black knight…”

    “Ooh~!”

The remaining women, excluding Kim Hyeong-min and Park Hyo-rin, expressed admiration.

Realizing it wasn’t just a simple reaction,

    Jeong A-yeong’s expression soured.

If they were close friends, they might have shrugged.

It would have been the start of a crush if she had been an ordinary student.

    However,

Within the intersecting gazes of Han Se-in, there was a sense of apology.

With that in mind, Jeong Ah-young slammed her glass down.

    “Oh!”

    One shot.

And so, the atmosphere of the drinking party heated up.

Only the two of them remained coldly aloof.

    20 minutes passed.

It was the time until Jeong Ah-young collapsed.

    No one had hit her.

It was simply a result of drinking soju.

Two bottles of soju in 20 minutes.

Even though she was an adult, she didn’t have much experience with alcohol at her age.

Especially with her personality of preferring to stay at home.

In the end, not understanding her own tolerance for alcohol, Jeong Ah-young collapsed.

    “Get rid of her.”

    “Got it.”

    And then,

    The door opened.

Along with the noise from outside, Kang Hyeon-ah entered.

It seemed like a barbecue party was going on.

Outside, the noise of students could be heard.

Kang Hyeon-ah nonchalantly glanced at the designated drinking area.

    And then,

A sudden change in Kim Hyeong-min’s behavior.

    “Hyeon~ah~!”

    “…Yes?”

    “Sit here! Let’s drink together.”

    Her voice tone rose.

A voice mixed with a lot of aegyo.

    Kang Hyeon-ah sat expressionless.

It didn’t take long to grasp the situation.

Jeong Ah-young lying unconscious from alcohol.

It seemed like he was trying to send someone away in the atmosphere.

    Like a woman’s intuition.

And at the end of her gaze was Han Se-in.

Women sticking closer to him on both sides.

He showed a stark contrast between the embarrassed and straightforward face he showed and his behavior of ignoring the women in front of him while playing with side dishes.

As if he were someone else.

    “Hyeon-ah~”

Kim Hyeong-min playfully nudged her shoulder.

Was it because of the alcohol?

    Some kind of temptation?

Surprisingly, Kang Hyeon-ah felt no emotions at all.

    Clearly, he was a man.

Han Se-in and Kim Hyeong-min were both men, right?

How could they be so different?

Kang Hyeon-ah’s thoughts shifted more towards Kim Hyeong-min than Han Se-in, becoming increasingly repulsive.

    Nevertheless, time passed.

Kang Hyeon-ah didn’t show any signs, and the drinking session continued for about 30 minutes.

    And then,

After stumbling around for a while, Han Se-in finally put the drink to his lips.

Taking a deep breath, he moved outside.

The drinking session was essentially coming to an end.

Everyone was already halfway drunk and slouching.

Kim Hyeong-min, leaning on Kang Hyeon-ah’s shoulder, let out a faint wheezing sound.

As if asking to be taken care of in his drunken state.

He didn’t say anything, but it felt like he was saying something subtly.

Of course, Kang Hyeon-ah did nothing.

    At that moment,

The women who confirmed that Han Se-in had left exchanged glances.

Desires crept into their smiles due to the effects of alcohol.

Sensing the unusual atmosphere, Kang Hyeon-ah observed the situation.

At the same time, three people stood up from their seats.

Naturally, Kim Hyeong-min, being drunk, didn’t say a word.

The owner had let go of the leash.

The dogs in heat began to run off as they were.

Exchanging glances and smiles with each other.

Towards the door where Han Se-in had exited.
