by fnovelpia“It’s hard… I want to die…”
Helena was more exhausted than ever before. Running since she was 12, she was now 26.
Due to Lily’s presence, she had been increasingly ostracized by the surrounding families, and everything she had worked so hard for had crumbled.
The relatives were gradually pushing Helena aside.
On top of that, Essex’s head was still incapacitated. The doctor said it seemed difficult for him to recover.
Her younger sibling, with whom she could talk comfortably, was so distant due to the gap between their families that they only exchanged letters about once a month.
It felt like enemies were closing in from all sides.
The pressure from the relatives and families around her who always tried to bring Helena down, along with recent movements in the countries.
These stressors were like a pile of bricks weighing heavily on Helena’s mind.
She wanted to sweep them all away right now, but she endured each day as it came.
Then came the story of a maid named Amelia. Whether it was a servant or a maid, it was all about Amelia.
Incredibly beautiful.
Helena was too preoccupied to pay attention to such rumors, as she had no room for distractions.
Not long after, it was revealed that the head chef was a spy.
Originally, the head chef should never have been caught. If nothing had happened, he would have poisoned the food at the right time to kill Helena and Ian.
But things changed with Lily’s actions.
As the maid quickly changed, Amelia entered the Estelle family two years earlier than planned.
And as Amelia diligently worked in the kitchen, the head chef fell for her, leading to an unexpected turn of events.
Despite being trained all his life to be a spy, the head chef was captivated by Amelia, engaging in behaviors he would never normally do, eventually revealing his identity as a spy to one of Helena’s subordinates.
With the head chef exposed as a spy, the situation within the family underwent a drastic change.
Starting with the head chef, they were able to capture the rats hidden within the family one by one, cleaning up the mess.
While there might still be remnants, the situation had solidified to the point where they couldn’t move.
Furthermore, when Helena was at her lowest, unable to feel any emotions upon seeing Amelia, this time was different. With the spy captured and her mind in a more stable state than ever before, she only carried a slight bit of stress.
The difference was more significant than expected.
Upon first seeing Amelia, Helena fell in love. And desired her.
Amelia possessed the most dignified appearance Helena could imagine.
Having grown up without receiving her parents’ love, though others might think she received enough love through others’ eyes, Helena felt differently.
Her parents only saw her as a tool.
That’s why receiving her parents’ love, or rather her mother’s love, became her dream.
Whenever Helena felt overwhelmed, she would imagine what a loving mother would look like, and the perfect image of a mother she envisioned was exactly like Amelia—tall stature, a large chest that seemed capable of embracing everything, a wide pelvis that hinted at easy childbirth, a forgiving smile that seemed to pardon any misdeed, a beautiful face.
Moreover, Amelia went beyond that, taking care of Lily, the orphan known as the villainess, more diligently than anyone else, embodying a beautiful character.
Amelia was the epitome of the ideal mother Helena had imagined.
If there had been no one around, Helena almost shouted “Mom” upon seeing Amelia.
Watching the lives of the newly created Lily and Amelia through magic became Helena’s hobby.
Until now, the irritating Lily had become so enviable. She, too, wanted to frolic in Amelia’s arms and receive a mother’s love just like that.
I wanted to be treated gently like that, I wanted to eat food like that, and I wanted to fall asleep in my mother’s arms without any worries for the next day.
Fortunately, Amelia forgave Helena. Of course, there was a condition that Lily’s forgiveness was also required, but Helena, who had been neglected for two years, forgave Lily as well.
Thus, Helena made her first ally within this silent family.
Not just an ally, but a sanctuary for her heart.
Moreover, she made a promise with Lily. Although it was contingent on Amelia’s approval.
If Lily were to marry Amelia, she would be treated as a daughter.
Although Lily looked at Amelia with disgust and disdain, she acknowledged that she herself was not normal.
From then on, Helena didn’t just endure each day forcibly but lived each day thinking about Amelia.
And today is Sunday. It’s 11 o’clock now. Amelia would arrive soon.
Helena called her maid to freshen up again, asked the chef for a delicious lunch, and paced around her room waiting for Amelia.
-Knock. Knock.
“Helena, Miss Amelia has arrived.”
“Come in.”
Since there was a maid in front of her, she acted with charisma.
-Swish.
After Amelia entered and the door closed, Helena quickly erected a magical barrier, her snake-like eyes and charismatic expression melting into a pure, childlike face as she ran towards Amelia.
“Amelia!”
She wanted to call her “Mom” from the bottom of her heart, but fearing Amelia’s rejection, she stuck to using her name for now.
Still, hugging was now welcomed. Though their heights were nearly the same, she deliberately lowered herself to nestle into Amelia’s embrace.
Though she heard Amelia sigh, she ignored it and savored the moment as much as possible.
-Snuggle, snuggle.
Feeling Amelia’s caress on her head, Helena’s body immediately softened.
“Shall we rest in bed today instead of having tea?”
“Yes…!”
Lying on the soft bed, Helena enjoyed Amelia’s presence.
‘If only my body were as small as Lily’s…’
More than ever, Helena disliked her larger body. While Lily could completely immerse herself in Amelia’s embrace, Helena felt her own body was too big to feel everything.
Unable to change that, she decided to be content with the current situation.
“You seem more playful today. What happened?”
Annoyed by how a grown adult like herself was acting so childishly, Amelia kindly patted Helena’s back and asked.
Until mealtime, Helena vented her stress to Amelia’s embrace.
“You’ve worked hard. It must have been tough, right?”
“…Yes.”
Among the days of the week, Sunday was the happiest for Helena.
Despite accumulating stress throughout the week, Amelia’s words melted it all away like magic.
“Amelia…”
“Yes?”
“If… it’s okay… when it’s just us… can we speak informally…”
“Me?”
“Yes…”
“Are you suggesting we speak informally to each other?”
“No… Just you, Amelia…”
…?”
Amelia tilted her head in confusion at Helena’s words.
Currently, Amelia is 20 years old, and Helena is 26. Additionally, Amelia is a maid of the family while Helena is a figure akin to the head of the household, which puzzled Amelia at Helena’s request.
“Is that alright…?”
“Would you be okay with that?”
“Yes…!”
“Then… shall we do that?”
“Yes!”
Another step towards becoming Amelia’s daughter was taken by Helena today.

It was time for lunch with Helena.
Under Helena’s instructions, instead of eating course by course like last time, all the dishes came in at once to prevent anyone else from entering the room.
After all the dishes had arrived, Helena’s expression softened again. It was fascinating every time I looked at her.
When someone is around, she exudes a charismatic, noble aura. The way her head naturally tilts slightly down when our eyes meet is almost intimidating even for me.
However, when no one else is around and it’s just us, her expression suddenly softens like a gentle child, almost seeming like a split personality.
It feels similar yet completely opposite to Lily.
Helena glanced at me discreetly, then approached me hesitantly. I took her hand and guided her to sit beside me.
Following our previous agreement, I began to feed Helena as promised.
With her hand tightly holding mine, Helena received the food I offered with such a happy expression that it made me feel good just watching her eat.
Unconsciously, I found myself gently stroking Helena’s head.
“So cute… Is this what a married woman looks like?”
After finishing the meal, I unknowingly led Helena to the bed.
“Amelia…?”
Leaning back on the bed, I spread my legs wide open and tapped between them with my hand. Sensing my gesture, Helena cautiously sat down.
Helena still didn’t fully lean on me, unsure if I was comfortable with it.
“Don’t worry.”
Carefully leaning against me, Helena rested her body in my arms.
After eating and soothing Helena’s slightly bloated belly, she purred contentedly like a cat and drifted off to sleep, clearly enjoying the attention.
