I went into the small room to dry my hair, and soon after, the delivery person arrived with the McMuffin.

I opened the door for the delivery and brought the McMuffin inside, telling Yeonju,

“Let’s eat at the table.”

I took out the McMuffin, coffee, and hash browns, handing Yeonju her meal.

“Why did your mother call earlier?”

“She was worried because I didn’t come home or contact her after staying out all night.”

We took out the tent, mats, cooler box, and water from the car and loaded them onto the camping wagon.

“Can you come to the island in the afternoon?”

“Understood. Carry your luggage onto the boat.”

Eunju and I loaded our luggage onto the boat.

Once everything was loaded, the captain said, “We’re about to depart, please have a seat.”

The captain started the boat’s engine, and with a rumble, we set off.

Speaking into the microphone, the captain explained, “The island we’re heading to is called Crescent Moon Island because it resembles a crescent moon. It’s an uninhabited island where occasional fishermen and campers like yourselves visit.”

“It’ll take about 30 minutes to reach Crescent Moon Island, and weather permitting, I plan to bring you back in two days.”

As the captain finished speaking, he gestured okay with his hand and exclaimed, “Thank you for the explanation, Captain.”

“Sure thing.”

With this brief exchange, the captain quietly steered the boat towards Crescent Moon Island, and we arrived at our destination.
