April 9th at 4pm.
I re-read the notice several times.
There is clearly no mistake in writing. The representative selection method, rewards, date, time, and location were all properly recorded.
“But why! Has Cheongryong not submitted the application yet?”
“Midterm exams start on the 24th. Since Blue Dragon has a scholarly atmosphere, it may not be a good situation to participate in game competitions.”
“Is that so… Actually, I don’t think I’ve seen any Blue Dragon players at the game center these days… ”
The chairman consoled me for my anxiety, but she was also chewing her lips.
It was then that the door burst open and Vice President Tangaroa came in.
Although I was tired of being the vice president, I had never been more pleased with his protruding duck beak than now.
“ Grumbling senior! Why did no one from Blue Dragon participate in the competition?”
“There is a problem.”
“Problem?”
Seeing that there is no reaction to the word grumpy senior, it is a really big problem.
“Chairman. Do you know Gonzalez Marin? 62nd Blue Dragon 3rd consecutive Summa Kum Laude.”
“Uh, you’re the 3rd grade representative now. Why is he?”
“Boycotting the Romantic Era was pushed into the Blue Dragon Dormitory rules.”
“What? Why?”
“It is said that they were dissatisfied with the way the blue dragon was portrayed… I think it would be better to go there in person.”
“After.”
The chairman frowned as if he was reluctant, but soon stood up and gestured.
“Let’s go.”
“Yes.”
“Uh, over there… ”
I looked around and pointed at myself.
“What about me?”
“Coleman. You remain.”
“Why?”
“Let’s have Coleman follow us, Chairman.
Cleo and I will be working together in the future, so it would be a good idea to take a look.”
The chairman clicked his tongue, but then nodded and motioned to me.
I was given permission to accompany him, but Vice President Tangaroa’s words kept getting caught.
What kind of mess is this that I need to keep an eye on?
————————————————– ———–
The Blue Dragon Dormitory on the east side of Quain Island looked ordinary on the outside.
It is not narrow and tall like a black swan, nor is it misshapenly wide like a white swan.
A four-story square building with classical beauty decorated with a blue dragon flag and blue ribbon.
“Chairman. As you know, in this… ”
“Uh. I know.”
After saying those enigmatic words, the two went inside.
Just before I followed them through the front door, I glanced up and read the words engraved on the door.
‘Those who are qualified’
What surprised me as soon as I entered was that the dormitory was structured like a department store.
The first, second, third, and fourth floors were all connected through an open space in the middle.
And the lights were off on the 3rd and 4th floors, and only the 1st and 2nd floors were lit.
I looked around. Most of the people on the first floor were first year students.
That’s unusual. At Kuroshio, older students use the lower floor because they find it difficult to move.
I found Cleo studying at her desk in the hallway and waved hello.
“Cleo.”
Cleo closed her book, stood up, and bowed at a 60-degree angle toward the vice president, not toward me or the president, and bowed politely.
“Cleo. Senior Marine, where are you? I decided to watch it here.”
“Senior Marin is giving mental education on Emily Sigma in hallway 4.”
“Emily, what did she do this time?”
“Well, it’s nothing new, it’s just that the pressure method was wrong again.”
The vice president frowned a little and guided us around.
All of the first graders we encountered along the way stood up and quietly greeted Tangaroa.
And the vice president walked without reacting to the greetings, who bent their upper bodies exactly 60 degrees.
When we arrived at hallway number 4, a third grader was pushing a second grader and three first graders against the wall.
A bronze-skinned third-year boy pointed to a second-year boy and said.
“Karl Knizia.”
“63rd class Carl Knizia.”
“Academic statement.”
“Blue Dragon 63rd Carl Knizia. 2nd place in admissions ranking, 1st year ranking in 1st year class.”
“You get good grades so your senior is easy?”
“No!”
“Or what, since your father is a duke, you thought I wouldn’t touch you even if it were just a simple matter?”
“No!”
“If you want to follow in my footsteps and go to Jeokma, tell me. I’ll send you a red horse.”
“No! I am a blue dragon to my core!”
“What position are you currently holding?”
“2nd grade Summa Kum Laude, that is, the grade representative!”
“Who is in charge of etiquette education for the 64th class children?”
“I’m in charge!”
The third-year student turned around and glared at the first-year female student.
“Hey, Emily.”
“Yes?”
The second grader closed his eyes tightly.
“Academic statement.”
“Che… Blue Dragon 64th Emily Sigma.”
“Knife.”
“63rd class Carl Knizia.”
“How should I accept this?”
“Sorry.”
“Are you saying this to me just to hear an apology?
It’s the second semester, and how should I accept that the senior of the first year can’t even use pressure or respond to calls properly!”
“We will correct it!”
“If you do this one more time, I’ll really put that bastard out of the running, okay?”
“Okay!”
The third year turned around. The name written on his black nametag was Gonzalez Marin.
He looked at us, nodded, and then spoke to Tangaroa.
“Uh, Tangaroa. If you had come, couldn’t you have told me you came?”
“63rd Tangaroa. I wasn’t sure if I could stop talking to my senior.”
“Yes, yes. Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess. I’m sorry for showing you such disgusting behavior. Let’s sit down and talk.”
Following González’s guidance, we came out into the open space in the center.
As I sat down at the table there, I was able to take a closer look at Gonzalez Marín’s appearance.
Fairly tanned skin, broad shoulders, and a firm square jaw.
Of all the people I saw at the Academy, he had the most manly appearance.
“Her Highness the Crown Princess.”
“Hmm. I wish they would treat me like a chairman rather than a princess.”
“Your Majesty, as you know-”
He said, making a polite gesture of embarrassment.
“There is a rule on our side, so it is better for you to be called Her Highness the Crown Princess… ”
“I don’t care.”
“It’s not a matter of Your Majesty’s feelings, but from my side… ”
“I said it doesn’t matter.”
“Okay.”
As soon as those words were spoken, Gonzalez crossed his legs and leaned back in his chair.
“So, Chairman. We, the Blue Dragon, are very dissatisfied with the romantic era.”
“What complaints?”
“Why is the Black Swan and not the Blue Dragon an elite magic-centered faction?”
I couldn’t stop laughing.
I thought it was something like why they released the Martyrs and why they made Blue Dragon look like a villain just because it was a protest.
Was it just an occasional problem?
González saw my sneer and glared at me sharply.
“Are you Colman Cantor?”
“64th Colman Cantor. Oh, would you like me to give you the test scores for the first semester?”
“There is no need for outsiders to do that.”
“I don’t think there’s any need for insiders to do that shit either.”
Even after saying it, I regretted whether I had gone too far, but González showed no reaction beyond a snort.
The chairman raised his hand and said that he would mediate.
“Marin grade representative, the protest right now is too vague to accept.”
“So I prepared the data.”
When Marin gestured, a second-year student ran out and put down a stack of papers.
“After the Age of Romance was released, we showed the ability statistics of all units.”
“It looks like you didn’t have anything bad to do.”
“The average movement power of all models is 11.8, with the red horse having the highest at 14.2 and our blue dragon having 12.1.
The total defense, which is the total health of the unit’s models multiplied by the geometric mean of defense and resistance, is an overall average of 35.
Baekyang ranks the highest with an average of 51, and Blue Dragon ranks 4th among the five camps with an average of 28.
The total ranged power is the number of ranged attacks multiplied by the unit’s hit and penetration times divided by 100.
After that, the statistics continued one after another.
The conclusion is that Blue Dragon is at or below average in all areas except magic and learning.
“Next, if we calculate the point allocation per unit model -”
“Enough of the bullshit.”
Gonzalez raised his head and looked at me.
“Do you think that if you self-proclaimed ‘statistics’ like that, it will be seen as objective?
It doesn’t take any special abilities or effects into consideration, and only basic stats are calculated!”
“It’s a special ability, yes! Let’s take a look at the special abilities!”
The next folder was brought out.
“The statistics of the number of magic-related abilities possessed by units of each faction are -”
“Chairman. Let’s go out. How can we have a conversation when they treat this garbage they created as they want as data?”
“Coleman. Don’t get excited.”
Tangaroa pushed my shoulder as I tried to get up and made me sit down.
President Lilac bit his lip once and then asked González a question.
“First of all, I recognized what type of complaint it was. So what is the solution that Blue Dragon wants?
I can’t listen to things like making the blue dragon stronger.”
“I don’t want that. We know that this game needs to be balanced.
What Blue Dragon wants is a comprehensive rework.”
Gonzalez crossed his arms and spoke patronizingly.
“Changing the Blue Dragon into an elite faction with expensive points but also high abilities.”
“Sorry, but each unit’s stats are decided together with the professors-”
“You’re playing with words, Chairman. I thought you were a better person than that.
The abilities of famous students who apply to be modeled will be determined by a panel of faculty judges.
However, isn’t it at the discretion of the student council to determine the abilities of general units such as Blue Dragon first-year students?”
This time it was a logical rebuttal, so the chairman had no choice but to keep quiet.
“We’re not telling you to overhaul all Blue Dragon units right now. That level of generosity belongs to the blue dragon.
However, it would be nice to at least post a notice that rework will begin.
If you do not show such sincerity, we at Blue Dragon will make boycotting the Romantic Era a dormitory rule.”
“Hmm. Do I really need to do that?”
All four of us looked at each other at the sudden voice.
It didn’t take long to realize that the voice was coming from above, not from the side.
A shadow stirred on the lights-out fourth floor.
