Chapter Index

    Evening Inn.

Two beast-people were around the counter.

“Darmon, when is that Barbaroi coming?!”

Karin said in an annoyed voice.

Her tail, sticking out from the chair, was wagging vigorously.

“He should be arriving soon, Karin.”

Darmon calmly replied while wiping a wine glass with a cloth.

    Thump!

    “I’m back.”

Jeong Yu-shin pushed the inn door open and entered.

    “Did you come?”

    “You’re late!”

    Karin’s sharp eyes narrowed further.

“I was late because I was washing up. I’m sorry.”

Jeong Yu-shin strode over and sat next to Karin.

They were sitting side by side, facing the counter.

The scent of the Barbaroi rushed into his nostrils.

The pure scent of a man, free of sweat and dust, made his head spin.

It was strange. It definitely wasn’t like this until yesterday.

    Karin felt a strange thirst.

“Karin, would you like to drink while we talk?”

Darmon, standing across the counter, offered wine.

“Yeah. Give me a glass. I need to drink because I’m getting angry.”

Clear liquor was poured into the cleanly wiped glass.

“You have a drink too, Scar.”

    “Yes. Thank you.”

Darmon took out another glass, poured liquor, and handed it to Jeong Yu-shin.

Karin glanced sideways at Jeong Yu-shin while sipping her drink.

Looking at his profile as he quietly stared at his drink, he seemed to be lost in thought.

“Ahem. So, have you thought about it?”

    Karin started the conversation.

    Jeong Yu-shin turned his head.

    “About what?”

    “The offer.”

“If it’s about the previous offer, I refuse. Didn’t you call me because you had another offer?”

“That’s right. Still, it’s a shame. I thought it was a good offer in its own way.”

    “What’s the other offer?”

“I’m going to hire you as a porter.”

Jeong Yu-shin’s eyebrows furrowed at the unexpected words.

The Barbaroi had an expression of not knowing what was going on.

Karin felt a small pleasure at that sight.

    “Please explain in detail.”

“The dungeon closure order will be issued soon.”

    Jeong Yu-shin’s body stiffened.

The man’s eyes widened in embarrassment. As Karin looked at his widened eyes, her lower abdomen throbbed.

“Something is happening in the dungeon. Currently, the Explorer’s Guild headquarters is collecting and analyzing testimonies from parties that have recently returned from the dungeon. The results will be out soon.”

Karin took a sip of her drink and continued.

“The dungeon closure order will be lifted soon. They’re going to gather high-ranking and mid-ranking explorers staying in the city to form an investigation team, and I’m going to be in it.”

    “You were an explorer?”

“Yeah. I got promoted to mid-ranking this time. You’re still a novice explorer, right?”

Karin looked at Jeong Yu-shin with a grin.

Looking at the Barbaroi with a frown made her lower abdomen throb again. This time it was a little ticklish.

Then, she felt her waist and hips loosen up a bit. She could feel her secret area, wrapped in underwear and leather pants, touching the hard chair seat.

    ‘Strange.’

    Karin thought to herself.

‘Is it because of the alcohol?

Or is it because of the bitter expression on the Barbaroi’s face that she doesn’t like?’

    She didn’t know.

But she wanted to keep this strange and subtle tickling sensation for a little longer. That was for sure.

    Karin said.

“…So, come in. To the dungeon investigation team I’m in. As a porter. I’ll pay you a lot. I’ll protect you. How about it?”

Karin’s face, speaking abruptly, was slightly flushed, perhaps because of the alcohol.

Jeong Yu-shin stroked his chin and pondered Karin’s offer.

    ‘Not bad?’

He could earn money and see what was happening in the dungeon firsthand. It was dangerous, but weren’t they mid-ranking explorers? The safety level would be like heaven and earth compared to a failed party.

In addition, a high-ranking explorer was leading the way, so he would have enough time to prepare in case something went wrong.

He couldn’t just sit around and do nothing out of all sorts of worries. He didn’t have the luxury to do that.

    ‘Okay.’

“I’ll accept the offer. The advance payment is 50 silver coins, but what about the remaining payment?”

Karin took out a gold coin from her pocket and flicked it.

    “Take it.”

Jeong Yu-shin snatched the flying gold coin like a swift eagle.

    “Wow.”

    ‘Suspiciously big-spending wolf beast-person. Confirmed.’

Looking at the gold coin made him feel at ease, and all worries about the future disappeared.

Karin got up from her seat.

“Good. We need to finalize the contract, right?”

Jeong Yu-shin turned his head and looked at Karin.

“What do you mean by finalizing the contract?”

Karin suddenly lifted the bottom of her shirt.

Her belly, which looked both soft and firm, and her cute navel were clearly visible.

“It’s a tradition of the Red Wolf clan to confirm the establishment of a contract. Kiss my belly.”

Karin smiled with her eyes narrowed.

    * * *

    The inn fell silent.

    “Is this correct? Darmon?”

Darmon felt a sense of dismay at Jeong Yu-shin’s question. Just as he was about to open his mouth, he felt Karin’s sharp gaze and nodded.

    “…That’s right.”

The daughter of the representative of the Beast-person Alliance.

Despite her high status, she was a hero and idol of the beast-people, who had gained fame by leading her subordinates directly and assassinating slave hunters along the eastern border of the alliance.

Her beauty was also so great that countless marriage proposals from prominent beast-people were endless.

Karin, who had crushed all marriage proposals, was now forcing a belly kiss on a mere Barbaroi.

The belly kiss, symbolizing humiliating submission.

The act of kissing the belly was an old tradition that had already disappeared.

Even Darmon, who was already in his middle age, thought it was an old tradition, so young beast-people didn’t even know that this tradition existed.

    But Karin knew.

She was worthy of being the daughter of the one at the top of the Beast-person Alliance.

Darmon, a member of the Beast-person Alliance, could not resist Karin’s gesture.

Still, he couldn’t bear to see Jeong Yu-shin, whom he had grown fond of even a little, in a humiliating state, so he turned his head away.

“I…I’ll be back in the kitchen for a while. I haven’t finished cleaning up yet.”

Darmon staggered and opened the door behind the counter and entered the kitchen.

    Karin urged.

    “Hurry up.”

“Are you sure? That kissing your belly is how you confirm the contract?”

“Do you think I’m lying? I’m the daughter of the Beast-person Alliance representative.”

Karin narrowed her sharp eyes and growled.

    “Oh, jeez. I understand.”

Jeong Yu-shin knelt down and looked at Karin’s belly.

The panty strings, which should have wrapped around her waist, were hanging on her wide hips, as if she had pulled her panties up. The embroidery of black lace panties was slightly visible above the waist of her pants.

Jeong Yu-shin’s lips got closer and closer to Karin’s firm belly and cute navel.

Karin’s breath became rough. The hand holding her shirt tightened.

    And.

    Chwup.

    His lips touched her belly.

    Karin’s head flew up.

Electricity ran down her spine, and something deep in her belly repeatedly tightened and loosened.

Karin put strength into her trembling legs and covered her mouth with one hand.

She could feel a trembling vibration through her lips.

‘Could it be that I’m feeling it?’

Jeong Yu-shin, a virgin with no experience in love, took his lips off her belly with a puzzled feeling and looked at Karin.

    “What?”

When he looked up, Karin’s expression was still cold and sharp.

    ‘Is it not?’

    “Shall I continue?”

    “Huh?”

Karin showed a moment of hesitation at Jeong Yu-shin’s question.

    “Isn’t this enough?”

    “Do it one more time.”

    “Huh.”

“Do you think the contract is a joke?!”

    Karin snapped.

Jeong Yu-shin frowned and put his lips on Karin’s belly.

    Chwyup.

    Once again, Karin’s body trembled.

‘Why are you snapping? Taste a little sucking.’

    Jjuuuuup.

He put his lips on her smooth belly and sucked hard.

He sucked on her belly fat as if sucking on a baby’s chubby cheeks, trapping it in his mouth, and then gently bit it with his teeth.

    “Keut!”

Karin’s body shook violently. Her waist defied control and bounced back and forth on its own.

‘Are you going crazy from the tickling? Can’t stand it, right? What can you do? You chose this sucking. Grit your teeth and endure.’

    Nyom nyom nyom.

It was when he was chewing on her belly fat.

    Whack!

Karin’s hand grabbed Jeong Yu-shin’s head.

    “Stop.”

He obediently took his lips off her belly at the cold voice.

Her blemish-free, smooth, and firm belly was already covered in red bite marks and saliva.

    ‘Gasp! What have I done…’

As he realized that he had lost his mind and was biting and sucking on the belly fat of someone else’s precious daughter, a chill ran down his spine.

She wasn’t just a precious daughter. She was the daughter of the Beast-person Alliance representative.

Jeong Yu-shin hesitated and opened his mouth.

    “That…”

“It’s okay. Don’t do that next time. I’m leaving.”

Karin pulled down her shirt and disappeared out of the inn like the wind.

Jeong Yu-shin stared blankly at Karin’s back as she hurried off somewhere before getting up from his seat.

    “Darmon, she’s gone.”

Darmon emerged from the kitchen with a subtle expression.

“Ahem. Is that so? Good work.”

“It was nothing. I’m going to bed.”

    “Okay.”

    * * *

Two days had passed. Tremendous news had spread throughout the dungeon city.

    The dungeon closure order.

All explorers staying in the city were banned from entering the dungeon.

In the past two months, not only new explorers but also mid-ranking explorer parties had disappeared in large numbers in the dungeon.

The Explorer’s Guild, sensing that the situation was unusual due to the ongoing disappearances and the abnormal behavior of monsters, judged that something was happening in the dungeon.

The high-ranking officials of the magic tower, the council, and the Explorer’s Guild in the dungeon city gathered.

    Several meetings were held.

The result of the meeting was an indefinite dungeon closure.

The reason was for the safety of the explorers.

Some insightful people judged that there were other reasons, but they remained silent. There was no reason to get on the bad side of the higher-ups.

Wherever people gathered, they were talking about this news. Especially in the southern district, where people who made a living related to the dungeon gathered, it was even more so.

    Speculation and worry were rampant.

    Darmon’s inn was no exception.

There were only a few things that explorers who couldn’t go to the dungeon could do. One of them was to order a drink at the inn and sit there, gathering in groups of twos and threes to talk.

Darmon’s molting was over, so the inn was more crowded than before.

The explorers were not going to leave a good inn with good drinks and delicious food alone.

“I’m happy that business seems to be doing well.”

Jeong Yu-shin said with a smile as he was scooping up soup.

    “Why are you happy?”

Darmon, exhausted from dealing with the sudden influx of customers, replied weakly.

    “Should I help you?”

“No thanks. A fishmonger doesn’t entrust fish to a cat.”

The expression of the cat beast-person sitting at a nearby table twisted.

“What’s wrong with cats? Hey, that’s beast-person discrimination.”

“Don’t you cat clans also make a lot of jokes about bears?”

    “That’s true.”

The cat beast-person quickly agreed and sipped his drink.

    “Thank you for the meal.”

Jeong Yu-shin quickly finished his meal and got up from his seat.

“What are you going to do today?”

    Darmon asked casually.

“I’m going to get some equipment. And buy some exploration supplies.”

“Good. You said you were going as a porter, so keep the equipment light. Only buy essential supplies. The prices of equipment and supplies must have gone down a lot due to the dungeon closure order, so you’ll be able to buy them cheaply.”

“Oh my. Is he your hidden son?”

    The cat beast-person interjected.

    “Shut up.”

    “Okay.”

The cat beast-person quietly sipped his drink again.

Jeong Yu-shin chuckled and got up from his seat.

    “I’ll be back.”

    “Okay.”

‘It’s been a while, so I should buy some alcohol and go see Boron.’

    * * *

    “Boron! I’m here.”

He walked through the deserted blacksmith street and entered the blacksmith shop run by Boron.

“Barbaroi? What brings you here? The dungeon closure order has been issued.”

Boron opened the door and came out. He looked filthy, as if he hadn’t washed in a while.

“I came to get some equipment. I also bought some alcohol as a bonus.”

    “Ooh!!”

Boron ran over with his eyes shining as if he had found enlightenment in the darkness. Boron snatched the bottle from Jeong Yu-shin’s hand and rubbed his face against it.

“This alcohol! It’s super expensive! Have you made a name for yourself?!”

    “That’s not it.”

“Is that so? Did you come to see weapons?”

“No. I came to buy a helmet and repair my armor.”

“Really? Don’t tell me that rag you’re wearing now is armor.”

Boron looked at Jeong Yu-shin’s hard leather armor with a suspicious gaze.

Jeong Yu-shin gave a bitter smile.

    “Is it so unusable?”

Boron came closer and tapped or touched the hard leather armor.

“It’s not been taken care of at all? I can’t use it. If you stab it with a knife, it’ll go right through.”

Boron shook his head after coming to a conclusion.

“Buy one. I’ll give you a cheap price.”

“Didn’t you say that lowering the price for a dwarf is an insult?”

“That was then. Orders have been cut off completely since two days ago. I have no money.”

    Boron clicked his tongue.

‘There’s no business in front of money.’

Once again, he felt the fearfulness of money.

Boron smiled and crossed his arms. For some reason, his face was full of life.

“Good! Let’s find armor that fits you! Ain Hopper!!”

Boron turned his head and shouted.

The door inside the blacksmith shop opened and Ain Hopper appeared.

Jeong Yu-shin and Ain Hopper’s eyes met.

    “Oh.”

Silence fell in the blacksmith shop.
